Everyone at the Muthu Belstead Brook couldn’t have done anymore for making our day go without a hitch. You all worked so hard to make everything to detail look just perfect. But a very special thanks really does go to Amy, Vali and Elvis you really did go above and beyond to make sure our day was just perfect. I made all the decorations, from welcome board to seating plan, button holes, confetti, bouquets and a spare one to throw, pumps for myself and my sister to dance the night away, flowers in hurricane vases, to shot favours the lanterns and eucalyptus garlands with lights on. And you really did put everything together just how I imagined it would be and more.

Absolutely perfect!! We had the most perfect day (so much so my husband wants to do it again!!) thank you so much to every single staff member - especially Zoe. Not sure if I was quite a bridezilla but I did have lots of questions and anxiety, wanting to ensure the day went as smoothly as possible and all guests were catered for; Zoe was a star. Put up will all of my query’s and resolved them so quickly. Thank you for making our day so perfect , and of course putting up with me 😂🩷 P.S that’s not even mentioning the delicious food or stunning location OR fabulous rooms!!! Love Steph and Ryan x

We cannot thank The Freston Boot enough for making our wedding day so special and truly perfect. The accredited setting is absolutely stunning and provided the most beautiful and memorable backdrop for our celebration. The setting truly speaks for itself and added something magical to our day. From our very first enquiry, through booking, and on the wedding day itself, every single member of staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. We are so grateful for the advice, patience, and reassurance given throughout the process, especially with our many questions and changes along the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything reflected our hopes and wishes. A huge compliment must go to the chefs for the delicious two-course dinner and the fantastic buffet food, which was enjoyed by all of our guests. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. We were also delighted to have the privacy of the tent, which was cozy, intimate, and the perfect setting for our small wedding party. It created exactly the warm and personal atmosphere we had hoped for. Our massive thanks go to every single member of staff for their hard work, kindness, and dedication. We give The Freston Boot our highest recommendation to any couple looking for a cozy, small, and truly special wedding venue. Thank you for making our day unforgettable.

We visited many venues, each more Beautiful than the last but overall the quality of service received from the Holiday Inn was really second to none, Claire and the team were on hand throughout the planning process and made sure that nothing was forgotten. They made what could have been a very stressful experience into an easy one. The day itself couldn’t have gone smoother and everybody went out of their way to make sure we had the most memorable day as possible. Even when the meal and speeches ran over they still managed to turn everything around and have the room ready for the evening to start on time! With a three course meal, an evening buffet a DJ and accommodation for the couple included in the package it really did take all the worry out of the nitty gritty that so often gets overlooked or overwhelming. If you’re looking for a very reasonably priced venue with wonderful and attentive staff then this one is highly recommended. We were surprised at how easy everything was from the initial contact to the menu tasting right through to the day itself, and with discounted rooms for all wedding guests, the whole wedding party were able to stay making it all the more special at breakfast the following morning.

We decided on a big family affair at Jimmy’s after our intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast in Bury St Edmunds. We wanted to invite our wider families along earlier in the day than most evening offered and we were able to have a cocktail hour and BBQ starting at 6pm before an amazing party at the farm. The farm also offered a more relaxed/ less traditional vibe for our celebrations. As foodies, farm to fork is something we are passionate about so that was another box thatJimmys Farm ticked. The farm restaurant layout also attracted us, with the bar, and seating areas/alcoves and dancefloor on different levels but still open plan so that everybody could enjoy the party going on the dancefloor even if they weren’t dancing! That and the access to the terrace and gorgeous views outdoors across the fields. Honestly the entire staff were so accommodating and professional on the day, Natalie in the build up was a dream, she listened to exactly what we were all about and made it all happen seamlessly! BBQ was commented on by everyone as was so delicious! Thanks so much to everyone at the farm, I can’t recommend the team and venue highly enough! :)

We had a wedding here in 2023 and it was truly amazing. Kate looked after us so well and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. From our first viewing all the way to the special day we were made to feel welcome and cared about. The venue itself is beautiful and we loved the aesthetic, we were kindly allowed to take a golf cart out for some pictures on the grounds which came out amazing. The food was incredible, our guest kept saying how they loved it and the presentation was top tier. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with good food where you will be looked after this is the one. Jacob & Rachel Osborne

The rooms at the venue were so beautiful on their own, that we only needed to add a little bit to make it our own and exactly what we’d envisioned. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly. Nothing we asked was dismissed and we weren’t made to feel a burden despite our many questions! They were incredibly helpful and made sure the day ran smoothly for us

Beautiful hotel , very good value for money , staff were all very polite & done everything for you , Definitely 5 stars , from the time we got there , till we left , we stayed for 2 nights , along with some of our other guests. We all had a brilliant time !
