I cannot express enough how absolutely perfect our day at Lanwades was. From the second we stepped foot into the hall on our first show round to leaving the day after, it was a fairytale. The team there are fabulous, and a huge shoutout to Charlotte, our coordinator, who consistently went above and beyond through the whole process to ensure our day was completely seamless. Booking was so easy, and she held our hands throughout the entire process of organising our day. She even stepped in to announce us into our wedding breakfast, and put together a little video of our day when someone couldn’t make it. The property itself is stunning - although it looks big, it feels so homely and welcoming. And the gardens are beautiful, providing the perfect places for photos as well. I couldn’t recommend Lanwades Hall enough, and I hope more people get to experience the absolute joy of getting married there.

To all the staff at the Jockey Club Rooms. I am not even sure where to start, but would like to say thank you so much for all of your hard work, attention to detail and persistence. Even before the wedding, Charlotte’s organisation helped the preparation work be as calm, structured and comprehensive as possible, making the lead up to the wedding an enjoyable experience. With her on board, we trusted the running of the wedding and were confidant with all the plans. This trust was well placed as the day went more perfectly than we could have even dreamed of. Without her hard work and correspondence, we never could have achieved this, and cannot imagine going through the process without her at our call. We cannot thank you enough. We were so happy to be able to provide all of our wedding decorations on the Friday night prior to the wedding, which were all placed for us in the most faultless manner. We know that for some of you, the day meant very long hours but none of you showed this to ourselves or our guests. Our guests have not stopped singing your praises, and commenting on the hospitality, especially with some of our elderly relatives in wheelchairs who have commented that that have never felt less of a burden than they did on that day. If possible, we would like to individually thank these people In particular, as they went beyond and above our expectations, and it really was lovely to see. It was noted by many of our guests that your staff would continually approach these guests, offer drinks and assist them in staying comfortable, and this showed just how courteous and accommodating all your staff are.

It didn’t take us long to decide on Crows Hall - such a beautiful, unique venue with a moat, Tudor barn and glamping site, as well as access to the beautiful house to stay in over the wedding weekend - and one of very few venues to give you exclusive access for a week so you can set up and enjoy days leading up to and after the wedding. Anything but a wedding factory which was key for us and you don’t have to shut the whole wedding down before midnight either like most others! Just to top it off, we were so lucky to have Caroline who owns the venue to provide all her recommendations of suppliers, ideas for the day itself and all the other help we could have wished for to make our perfect day happen. It was a wedding like no other (as all guests said so too!) and the whole event could not have been more special. We were able to use the boat on the moat, have bbqs in the grounds, the band playing outdoors with the moat backdrop, beautiful gardens for guests to stroll around in the morning of and during the wedding - and as a special touch, my grandparents loved being taken up to a hidden viewing platform in Caroline’s own home which they still talk about every time I see them. You won’t find a venue or supplier like this to help make the wedding of your dreams come true!

We had our wedding at Woolverstone Hall. It was a dry hire (tables and chair included) which meant we were fully able to make the day our own brining in the catering / drinks (no corkage) and decorating to our own taste. It is such a beautiful venue and we were sold by the outside view of the river Orwell. We had access to several large rooms inside as well as all outside space. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside with beautiful weather. Our point of call with the venue was Katherine who was very helpful in terms of suggesting suppliers and answering our questions about the venue and ensuing the day ran smoothly. We had the best experience and would fully recommend this venue.
