From the very first moment Henry met us at the gates of The Tudor Barn, we knew we had found the place where our “happily ever after” would begin. There was an instant sense of warmth, care, and genuine welcome that set The Tudor Barn apart from every other venue we visited.
Henry is truly exceptional. From start to finish, he was kind, attentive, and endlessly supportive, making the entire journey, from booking to the big day itself, completely seamless. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his calm, caring nature gave us total confidence that everything was in the safest possible hands. Henry was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and recommend fantastic suppliers, which made planning our wedding so much easier and far less stressful.
The booking process itself was incredibly straightforward, and the value for money The Tudor Barn offers is outstanding, especially considering everything that is included. The extended hire period was a huge bonus, giving us plenty of time to set up exactly how we envisioned our day and to tidy up afterwards without feeling rushed.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and provided the perfect foundation for our dream wedding. The beautiful blend of indoor and outdoor spaces meant our guests could move effortlessly between areas, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere throughout the day. There were fantastic bar areas, a lovely BBQ space for the evening, and plenty of safe, open areas for children to play something our guests with families truly appreciated.
Henry’s family, Felicity and the wider Tudor Barn team were just as welcoming, friendly, and helpful, adding to the warm, family-run feel of the venue. On the day itself, the staff were accommodating, professional, and always on hand, ensuring everything ran smoothly and allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.
We visited several venues during our search, but none came close to The Tudor Barn. It is a truly special place, made even more incredible by Henry and the amazing team behind it. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting or better people to help bring our wedding day to life.

Beautiful venue especially for a summer wedding getting married outside! Facilities are exceptional and all done to a high standard whilst keeping the vintage appeal. The grounds are stunning and we absolutely loved getting married here!

I honestly cannot praise Henry, Tudor Barn and all the staff enough. This review is so long overdue having got married over a year ago, but they all deserve the biggest thank you and pat on the back. The grounds and building are absolutely stunning and there are plenty of options to add extras to your day to make it bespoke to you. We went with the Sundowners package which I thought was great value for money, especially with all the care and attention put into the venue to make it a day to remember. There was never any hassle contacting Henry, and he always welcomed us to come view the premises when we needed to (or when family wanted to see it). The day itself was seamless, the food very tasty and the staff regularly topped up our drinks. Location wise, it's a great place, not far out of Ipswich, but far enough that you feel you are somewhere miles away. It was a dream location and access wasn't a problem for guests. In the build up to the wedding there was regular communication so we could get all the preparations sorted well in advance. We held the ceremony in the upstairs room, followed by photos outside, food, speeches and then a fab disco at the end. The day was so special, and I thank the DJ for willingly playing 'All I want for Christmas is you'... In the middle of July! What the Bride wants, the bride gets haha! If we could do it all again tomorrow, it wouldn't be too soon. It was an amazing day, and I highly recommend others look to The Tudor Barn for their wedding celebrations. Everyone was so kind. We got married at the Tudor Barn in June 2024, we did the sundowners package and it was incredible value for money. The team at TTBB were so friendly and helpful right from the point of booking until after our wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, a dream wedding venue and such beautiful grounds. We would highly recommend!

We booked the Sundown package at the Tudor Barn. Henry was very professional and flexible and ensured we had all the information we needed to allow us to coordinate the appointed suppliers for our special day.

The grounds and barn looked amazing and even our guests complimented us on the chosen location.

The appointed suppliers were very well organised and efficient remove any unneeded stress on our big day.

We throughly recommend the venue not only for its beautiful setting but its value for money and flexibility.

We had our wedding here in August 2024. You really could not fault anything. The communication with Henry and the bar manager was spot on. The venue was absolutely incredible. The grounds, the inside, the drinks choices, the photo spots, the woodland ceremony area. Everything really was just perfect. We used recommended supplier Jamie Lee Smith Catering who were also 10/10. We had the most special day and would not have picked anywhere else to have our day. Also incredible that all our guests could be accommodated for the ceremony and meal as this was difficult to find for the amount of people we had!

A truly beautiful venue, both the barn and it's surroundings were fantastic, allowing for many photo oppurtunities. Everyone I had contact with regarding our wedding were also amazing; I can't fault the entire experience, and our special day went perfectly!

The ceremony under the trees was beautiful, with great atmospheric lighting, and the unique 17th-century feature that Henry helped create was a standout detail. The venue struck a perfect balance between rustic and elegant, exactly what we were looking for.

The service and support we received in the lead-up to the wedding were excellent, and everything on the day ran smoothly. Tudor Barn Belstead offered fantastic value for such an important occasion, and we couldn’t recommend Henry and the team highly enough.

Aby and I had our wedding on the 30th November 2024. We enjoy Christmas time so wanted a wedding to be centred around that. We viewed the venue and immediately fell in love. The converted barn, combined with the scenic surrounding land meant it was the ideal location to get married.
Henry was always available to answer any questions we may have, a lovely and approachable guy. He even agreed to erect the outdoor Christmas tree early so it would be up in time for our wedding!
Henrys venue manager on the day was fantastic and took all the stress of the day away. She ensured the day went smoothly.
I can only finish by saying that you shouldn’t hesitate to book this as your weeding venue - you really wont regret it.

We got married on a Monday as part of their sundowners package which was amazing value for money and meant a lot less hassle as it included so much.
From start to finish everybody in the team were amazing. We can’t thank them enough.

From the moment we arrived for our first viewing we fell in love with the place. We loved the all inclusive nature of the venue, and it was perfectly set up for a winter wedding. The ceremony room was gorgeous and rustic, and for the reception we loved the little nooks and crannies our guests could go to find some peace and quiet.

We had 50 day guests and ~100 reception guests. This was the perfect venue for the size, enough room for everyone without feeling like there was too much space.

The top thing we were looking for was a venue that allowed fireworks and honestly it was perfect. The giant glass doors of the barn was ideal for people staying in the warm to watch the show.

Another cherry on top for the day was the firepit, perfect for a winter wedding. The venue was able to accommodate all of my madcap ideas, to have hot chocolate served instead of champagne, smores set up by the fire and a last minute booking for a saxophonist!

I highly recommend this venue - and coordinating with Henry was super smooth.

We had the most amazing day at the Tudor Barn for our wedding in July. From our first contact with Henry to view the venue, we experienced a huge amount of support and care to ensure our day was exactly how we wanted it to be. No question in the run up was too small which was really appreciated. The support on our set up day, on the day of the wedding and the day after was outstanding (thank you Zandra!); she was there if we needed anything at all. The Tudor Barn itself is stunning as well as the grounds and many of our guests commented on this too. The outside area is the perfect place for guests to mingle and the barn itself has such a wonderful charm to it. The coordination between Zandra and Belstead Church to ensure everything ran smoothly in the transition between was very appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend this venue and feel very fortunate that we found the Tudor Barn for our special day.
