Weddings at The Cider Works can be a truly unique experience. We will work with you to create the day of your dreams.
Say "I Do" in one of our three licensed ceremony areas: the dining room, The Garden Room, or The Apple Barn and Terrace. We are licensed for 100 ceremony guests and up to 250 evening reception guests.
We have a range of catering options to suit all styles of celebration. We can accommodate anything from an intimate fine-dining wedding breakfast to a more casual hog roast and barbecue celebration.
Dine inside or alfresco. For smaller celebrations of up to 50 guests, The Garden Room is a beautifully light room with views of the garden and Terrace. The Dining Room and Bar are perfect for a more rustic feel, with a rustic brick and fairy-lit backdrop for your top table and can seat up to 90 guests. If you are looking for a more informal rustic feel, dine outside under The Canopy, where we can seat and serve up to 110 guests for your wedding breakfast.
Host your evening reception for up to 250 guests in The Apple Barn, Terrace and Canopy, with plenty of room for dancing and dining with access to both an inside and outside bar.
Included in our venue hire are five individually designed shepherd huts that can accommodate up to 18 members of your wedding party the night after your celebration. So you can continue your evening with drinks and smores around the fire pit and share memories of your perfect day.
We have ample parking and easy access from the A256 Deal, Canterbury, Sandwich and Dover.

August wedding 2026
Jodie was incredible throughout the entire process. From all the planning in the lead up, where she was always only a message away, to helping us with our flowers the night before, and even being there on the morning of the wedding while we were getting ready, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Having someone so helpful, calm and genuinely invested in making our day perfect made such a difference.
The shepherd huts we stayed in were absolutely gorgeous and the little touches of biscuits, pastries and milk waiting for us made them feel even more special.
The food was UNREAL. We had the hog roast buffet for our main food, pizzas in the evening and a sweet cart, and everything was absolutely delicious. We had so many compliments from our guests about the food.
The venue itself was perfect for a wedding, especially with children. We had lawn games which the kids absolutely loved, and the hobbit house in the gardens was a massive hit with them too. There was so much space for everyone to enjoy themselves and the whole place just had such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Many of our guests have complimented the venue saying what a lovely relaxed and cosy feel it had.
Our wedding day genuinely could not have been more perfect. We were able to enjoy every second of it because we knew everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. Jodie, Guy and the whole team put so much effort into making our day exactly what we wanted, and we will always be so grateful.
If we could do the whole day again tomorrow, we honestly would. ❤️ We couldn’t recommend The Cider Works enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Thank you for giving us the most perfect day, we’ll never forget it.
