We recently got married at the Northorpe Barn and are absolutely over the moon with how it went. Emma was immensely helpful during both the planning process and the day itself. She ensured our day ran smoothly and that we experienced zero stress, allowing us to just enjoy the pure happiness of getting married. The staff worked efficiently to flip the room between ceremony, dinner and dancing, meaning there was no waiting around for things to happen, it all just flowed perfectly.
The venue is beautiful and so easy to decorate because of its natural aesthetic - we received compliments from everyone on how pretty it was. I've had numerous people tell me it's the best wedding they have been to in a long time, and I give a lot of credit for that to the venue and its staff.
The barn is easy to access and is in an excellent location for people to get to via trains. We had many guests travelling into Wakefield and Leeds stations with no problems. To top it all off, it's wonderful to know that the profits made on our special day are going back into the local community and helping children across Yorkshire. I highly recommend getting married at the Northorpe Barn, thank you to them for making it the best day of our lives, we give five stars!

From the moment we stepped into the barn and met Sam we knew this was the venue for us. Throughout the endless planning Sam kept us up to date with regular emails whilst giving her advice and recommendations.

I cannot recommend the prep and party enough! Sam went through the order of the day with us whilst and practicing the walk in which made us feel so calm. Along side the delish afternoon tea and a prosseco which was such a nice pre wedding treat with family and friends!

On the day Sam made sure the timings were kept up to ensure everything went smooth and stayed flowing! A massive thank you to Sam and her team for working so hard on the day to ensure everything flowed so perfect, it didn’t go unnoticed how hard you work by many. Everything I had asked Sam to be done the day before was done and it was just perfect.

I cannot recommend this venue enough and the perfect Wedding coordinator. No request was never not met, no email never not replied to and you truly made sure our day was perfect!
