The Northorpe Barn

We recently got married at the Northorpe Barn and are absolutely over the moon with how it went. Emma was immensely helpful during both the planning process and the day itself. She ensured our day ran smoothly and that we experienced zero stress, allowing us to just enjoy the pure happiness of getting married. The staff worked efficiently to flip the room between ceremony, dinner and dancing, meaning there was no waiting around for things to happen, it all just flowed perfectly.
The venue is beautiful and so easy to decorate because of its natural aesthetic - we received compliments from everyone on how pretty it was. I've had numerous people tell me it's the best wedding they have been to in a long time, and I give a lot of credit for that to the venue and its staff.
The barn is easy to access and is in an excellent location for people to get to via trains. We had many guests travelling into Wakefield and Leeds stations with no problems. To top it all off, it's wonderful to know that the profits made on our special day are going back into the local community and helping children across Yorkshire. I highly recommend getting married at the Northorpe Barn, thank you to them for making it the best day of our lives, we give five stars!

We chose the Northorpe Barn as our wedding venue and got married this October. Would highly recommend as a wedding venue! Sam was amazing from start to finish 😊 She guided us through everything we needed to do to plan the wedding from the first time we met at the barn to the end of our wedding day. We had nothing to worry about and everything ran so smoothly.

The barn staff were all great on the day and the food was delicious!

We had a band in the evening and there was enough room for dancing, people to sit and have drinks by the bar and the snug area upstairs was an added bonus.

The pizza van also went down very well!

We fell in love with Northorpe Barn from the first time we visited. Meeting Sam and hearing about the charity behind the venue made us feel we'd found somewhere really special.The barn was everything we wanted for our wedding, relaxed, intimate and full of character. Sam and Emma were amazing and gave us all the support we needed to make the space feel personal to us.The food from Pied went down an absolute storm, everyone loved the beer selection, and the support from planning right through to the end of the day was incredible. So many guests told us how beautiful the venue was, both on the day and afterwards. Northorpe Barn played such a big part in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be, and we'll always be grateful for that. ❤️

Not only was getting married the best day of our lives but the Northorpe Barn and ALL the team there made it the best, best day of our lives!

From the initial walk around the venue to the end of the night Sam was beyond what we could ask for as a coordinator and support in planning the wedding. She helped us navigate all the decisions, all the details and all the plans which made it so easy for us to trust our vision to someone who helped make it come alive!

On the day not only was everything perfect and in place Sam welcomed us made sure we were happy above everything else. Alongside Sam was her wonderful team who all worked so diligently, were so friendly and ensured that everything was running as smoothly as possible that put us at full ease which meant we could be very present to our guests and to each other on our day!

Not only did we have a celebration at the most beautiful barn but we had the wonderful Northorpe team behind our best day ever!

From the moment we stepped into the barn and met Sam we knew this was the venue for us. Throughout the endless planning Sam kept us up to date with regular emails whilst giving her advice and recommendations.

I cannot recommend the prep and party enough! Sam went through the order of the day with us whilst and practicing the walk in which made us feel so calm. Along side the delish afternoon tea and a prosseco which was such a nice pre wedding treat with family and friends!

On the day Sam made sure the timings were kept up to ensure everything went smooth and stayed flowing! A massive thank you to Sam and her team for working so hard on the day to ensure everything flowed so perfect, it didn’t go unnoticed how hard you work by many. Everything I had asked Sam to be done the day before was done and it was just perfect.

I cannot recommend this venue enough and the perfect Wedding coordinator. No request was never not met, no email never not replied to and you truly made sure our day was perfect!
