We hired The Wine Press at the Maids Head for our reception and it is a beautiful room full of character. The font in the room made a great centrepiece for our cake, the food was delicious and the staff were faultless. We'd also hired a band who made the night very memorable and a great time was had by all! Thank You Maids Head Hotel! X

We had a brilliant time at our wedding reception and want to say a huge thanks to all the staff at the Maids Head who were all so friendly and efficient. Special thanks to Eileen who was super organised and went through everything with us beforehand so that we didn't worry. On the day Rob was brilliant and his organisation was faultless. All our guests had a great time, said the food was lovely and enjoyed their stay. We definitly recommend this as a wedding venue.

We had a wonderful day at the Maids Head. Everyone commented on how smoothly the day was run and the attention given to us by all the staff. Tammy who ran our wedding breakfast was a great help on the day! We had an amazing 6 course bespoke menu which went down very well with our guests. A beautiful hotel with wonderful old features but also some modern feels. The perfect wedding venue, would recommend 100% !!!

we had our marriage ceremony and wedding breakfast/evening reception here May 2011. The service was fantastic.the staff were very accommodating and friendly.the organisation of the day was very good and a great time was had by ourselves and guests.we are looking forward to going back next year for our anniversary.highly recommended to other couples

A brilliant wedding day!
Emily and Tom's wedding 28th August 2010 The hotel's organisation of the whole day was very good. The Minstrel Room was a lovely setting for the Wedding Breakfast. Family and friends came from Britain and from all around the world and everyone commented on how much they liked the hotel. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It was a perfect day.

Amazing, Outstanding Wedding Venue!
Our day couldn't have been more perfect, the Maids Head was a perfect venue and the service were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were polite and friendly. The hotel itself has charm and character and the food was delicious. Our guests continue to praise the food and the staff. We took a short walk from the hotel to the river for photos which worked really well, a lovely setting. A particular thanks to Amy for her planning and input, and also to Rob who brought everything together. Rob made the day run so smoothly, made the wedding party feel relaxed and in safe hands. A huge thank you from us all. We would certainly recommend you book your wedding at this venue!!

Don't hesistate to book this as the venue for your wedding. Not only is the hotel beautiful and full of character, the staff are outstanding. Our day ran so smoothly thanks to the planning of Amy and particular thanks to Rob, who was an oasis of calm and efficiency. The food was amazing, both for the wedding breakfast and buffet and we didn't have to worry about a thing.

This was the best day of our lives and we are so glad we chose to spend it at the Maids Head Hotel. The surroundings were really beautiful and we are so glad we took the opportunity to have some of our photos in the Norwich Cathedral Cloisters. Rob really took care of us on the day and was always at hand if we needed anything, The Maids Head really stood out as an autumn/winter venue for us. The candles and tea lights along with the chandeliers really made the afternoon and evening look magical. There was only one tiny mishap with food on the day which Rob sorted out very quickly and provided some extra treats to make up for it. Our day was handled very professionally by the Maids Head Team.

Without doubt the best day of our lives! We would like to thank Amy and Rob for all their hard work during the lead up to our wedding day (30 dec 2009) nothing was too much trouble. Amy liased with our suppliers which was a load off our minds. Lovely rooms were put aside for family and friends at a very competitive rate i might add! On the day we didnt lift a finger, the venue was perfect, food out of this world, the staff friendly and attentive,timings were spot on, professional from start to finish. Thoroughly recommend the venue to anyone you wont be dissappointed. thanks again to Amy and Rob for making our day so unforgettable.

We would like to pass on our thanks, to Rob Carr & all the team at the Maids Head for a truly wounderfull day. The Minstrel Suit looked lovely, the food was delicious & the service was second to none. Our honeymoon suite was also stunning. We have some lovely memories of our day which will stay with us forever. Once again a big big thank you to Rob you are amazing & outstanding in every way. Absolutely fantastic
I was best man on 17th October 2009 and have to say a huge thank you to Rob & his staff for making not only the bride and grooms day but making role easier.This was a wdding package It is a fantastic location, plenty of space & loads of character. The food & staff were great though a little over Zealous with clearing drinks from tables if left for two minutes!The day went so smoothly. Rob...well a star all round professional. If & when my children marry I will hunt him down to plan it.....yes THAT Good trust me.From recption to bar staff to the cleaners all were so polite & actually went out of there way to help u. not often that happens in English hotels! Superb location large car park FREE! I can see the hard work that has gone in to make this hotel work. From what I heard the bridal suit was stunning as wasthe Minstral room were we had the reception. so finally GO TO THE MAIDS HEAD HOTEL TO GET MARRIED I would but my wife wont let me!!

Great venue in great location with a top team !!
The dust has now settled after our big day so now is our opportunity to say a huge thank you to the Maids Head hotel for a truly wonderful day. With it''s location plumb in the city centre it was easy for our guests, many of whom traveled from all over the uk, to locate and the service by all the staff was first class. A very special thank you to Rob a top top chap who oversaw everything on the day, and to Lyndsey who was so helpful assisting with last minute glitches the night before. This venue could easily be overlooked for the out of town spots.....but please consider it, as the whole experience is a wonderful one, and where nothing was too much trouble!!
