Over the last thirty years, thousands of couples have entrusted us with the very important job of staging either their wedding ceremony and/or wedding breakfast. We pride ourselves on offering a professional and individual service, which ensures everyone experiences the day of their dreams; all in the most beautiful and dramatic rural location of the Ribble Valley.

In 1995 we had the honour of hosting the very first civil ceremony, outside a registry office, in Lancashire. Between 1st April and 30th September ceremonies can take place in the fairytale Bandstand situated in the award winning gardens.  Or there is the contemporary light and airey Orangery.  We are now able to offer wedding parties of between 180 and 350 guests marquee facilities. The marquee would be situated on beautifully landscaped lawns surrounded by our award-winning gardens.

In 2010 the Victorian-style Orangery was built which is licensed for civil ceremonies and perfect for either summer or winter, or a smaller wedding breakfast.

So, whether you are planning a small intimate gathering or a large event, the team here at the Gibbon Bridge will ensure that your day is planned to perfection.       A Perfect Day
      We had the pleasure of holding our civil wedding and reception at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel on Sunday 7th June 2009. The staff throughout the process including Janet the owner had been simply excellent guiding us through the task of arranging our wedding. Luckily for us on the sunday afternoon the staff had even arranged the weather for us enabling us to have a breathtaking civil ceremony in the garden bandstand. The wedding breakfast that followed was a delight even the chef''s amoungst our guests stated the food was simply stunning and breathtaking, the dessert being one of high points of the meal. We took the hotel on an exclusive basis which was just a perfect way to be able to spend our special day with our family and friends. All our guests have commented on how it has been one of the best weddings that they have ever attended. We would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a hotel with stunning surroundings, excellent service and food which you think has been cooked in some of the top fine dining locations in the world. Thankyou for making it our perfect day!

      What a fairytale setting this is. The whole day was unbeleivable. The ambience, Food, Wine, Entertainment and pure quality of the whole experience. Would reccomend this place to anyone. GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.
