      A day to remember forever
I just wanted to write to thank you so much for your help in making N and S’s wedding celebrations so very special – it will be a day that not only they, but also their guests, remember forever. We received numerous comments about the fabulous meal as well as the buffet. Your excellent staff could not have been more helpful, in particular Ben who oversaw the event for us. We saw N and S on Sunday morning and in their words they were ‘still walking on air’ which really says it all.

Best Wedding Breakfast they had tasted!
We are writing to thank you for arranging a superb reception for Elizabeth and Dan We could not have asked for more friendly or efficient attention from our first contact with Langrish House. You made the planning of the reception very easy and stress-free (in spite of changes to both menus and numbers). The day itself was outstanding: trough to the end of the evening; delicious, hot food, politely served; and your own unobtrusive but ever watchful supervision throughout. Many guests commented that it was the best wedding breakfast they had tasted! Indeed, the praise from all our guests for Langrish House, the staff and the meal echoes our own appreciation. We would be extremely happy to recommend your services to others.

      Excellent Service
On behalf of the Groom’s parents and ourselves we sincerely than you and your team for the excellent service we received for our daughter’s wedding reception. We were delighted with the presentation and quality of the event which made the day a wonderful success despite the weather.

      Excellent location and excellent staff
My husband and I married at Langrish House in April 2004. From the minute I first saw the house and met Robina (the owner and wedding planner) I knew I couldn't get married anywhere else. We had regular contact with the staff during the run up to the wedding with regard to menus, table layout etc. We chose to have the ceremony in the vaults by candle-light and the reception in the Talbot room. The day went without a hitch (except for the overcast weather!) The staff were fantastically attentive, the food was exceptional and everyone had a great time. The grounds look fabulous in our photos. On our first anniversary we went back and had Sunday lunch there and a stroll aound the grounds. I feel I have a kind of emotional attachment to the house now and when thinking of places to visit for special occasions it is always top of the list - we had dinner there on my 40th birthday. The cost was more than some other venues we considered but he certainly got what we paid for - A perfect day.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful wedding on 31 July 2004.
Our daughter was married in Havant on Saturday 31st July 2004 and we held the wedding reception at Langrish House Hotel - a drive of about 15 minutes. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived - in glorious sunshine which Robina promised us! Petra and Ben were always on hand to help but everything ran smoothly even though we asked them to delay the receiving line (and the meal) by 15 minutes so that some guests could freshen up. The food was superb, beautifully presented and delicious. The Talbot Room looked lovely (despite the rather tired carpet). We had decorated the balcony with swathes of greenery and this was worth while. In the evening some guests were outside on the lawns or at tables with candles flickering so it was a real country house party. The buffet looked good enough to eat although I didn't need it but our guests told us it was excellent. We used all the bedrooms which were very homely (some beds a bit hard) and had a hearty breakfast down in the vaults on Sunday morning. Thank you and well done everyone at Langrish House, particularly the Chef. Robina has a great team.

Beautiful setting with friendly, helpful staff and delicious food!
We had our reception at Langrish in September, and everything went brilliantly. Robina, although a bit "jolly hockey sticks" is very enthusiastic and helpful with the organisation, and on the day all the staff were very friendly, discreet and polite. In the morning room service even tracked down some paracetamol for us! The food is delicious and there is a lot of choice - you can chose your menu with prices from £25 a head. We supplied our own champagne and corkage was about £7 a bottle. The gardens are perfect for photos, and the bedrooms are all enormous and nicely decorated - very "country living". You have the entire hotel to yourself which provides a very intimate atmosphere. The only thing I would warn you about is if you have an evening buffet as well, the food is laid out by the dance floor, and many of our guests didn't know it was there! So I would recommend it is put in the main Talbot Room or a loud announcement made that it is there! The staff decorated the tables with confetti etc we provided, and it looked amazing. I thoroughly recommed this venue! Feel free to email me if you want to know anything else!

Country House, Family run, very nice people and setting
Although some of our guests got lost on the way it was worth it to see their faces when they turned into the drive and saw the house for the first time. It’s about 5 mins from Petersfield off the A272 to Winchester, almost in the middle of nowhere so we could make as much noise as we liked without having to worry about the neighbours. The house is a beautiful old county house with fantastic views from the bedrooms (I woke up on my first morning as Mrs Woods to Cows!)(I love cows). Everyone at the Hotel was wonderful when we were planning the wedding. Robina is the Owner of the Hotel and their wedding planner, she is lovely and had some good suggestions when Graham and I were both stuck for ideas. Julian (the Manager) was brilliant on the Day of the wedding, running around and sorting us out to be in the right place at the right time. The front Lawn was the perfect place for our Photos and as we were lucky with the weather we also spent most of the early evening sat on the lawn talking to those of our guests who weren't watching the football (England-Germany game, luckily England Won) The food was very good, with a lot for us to choose from for the sit down meal, the buffet in the evening I didn't get to try but I have been told it was good. We had a fantastic Wedding day here, which was made easier by the surroundings and the helpful staff.
