Amazinf Day
We got married on the 7th August and had the most fantastic day. The meal was hot, delicious and exactly what we asked for. We bought the package and it was excellent value for money, including the DJ who was most accomodating. More importantly, the day went without a hitch and we were made to feel so special-Helen, Luciano and Ben (the barman) were brilliant and my only wish is that I could do it all over again! Thank you.

Amazing Wedding Day
We got married at Etrop Grange hotel on 27th May 2011 and i have to say the service was second to none!! Helen the weddng coordinator was always welcoming, dealt wth any queries efficently and assisted to ensure my day ran as smoothly as possible even helping us to keep our fun casino a secret from our guests!! Luciano was master of ceromonies and was amazing from start to finish. Nothng was to much trouble and the day ran like clock work with us not having to worry about a thing. All our guests had a fabulous time and all commented on the service of the staff. Would highly recommened and cant thank them enough for making our day truly magical and very special.

Three new bookings
I had my wedding at Etrop Grange in March this year and the service really was 'second to none'. The Co-ordinator Helen was a pleasure, Lucciano and his team were professional to say the least. I have now decided to put this review on as, since March, three of our guests have booked their weddings at Etrop for next year! What a recommendation!

Perfect Day
We have just got married at Etrop on 22 September and had our Civil Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast and Reception here. From start to finish, the day was perfect. The staff could not do enough - doing all the little things you don't even think about until the next day. Even the rain held off! Amazing day, don't hesitate to hold your wedding here, I can't recommend it highly enough

cosy etrop grange, ideal for smaller weddings.
Etrop Grange is a cracking little hotel and was perfect for what we wanted, we held our evening reception there and the food was world class, everyone of our guests really enjoyed it, the staff during the build up were great too. the only downside was we had no one to toastmaster us so we ended up in a bit of a pickle not knowing what to do and when to do it! we didnt let that ruin our evening though and a great time was had by all.

Cosy- ideal for a small wedding
We chose Etrop because of its homely, personal feel and we were not disappointed at all.Everything went smoothly from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for anyone at the hotel. The food was exquisite and the chef did everything we asked for- everyone commented on the excellent cuisine.The hotel is not massive so is ideal for smaller weddings. Ours was a civil ceremony for 30 followed by and evening reception for 80.We had a pianist playin before, during and after the ceremony which was lovely. I would certainly recommend Etrop to anyone.

The best I have seen
We got engaged at Christmas 05 and I had no idea where to start. Once we did start looking it seemed venues get booked way in advance and so I was feeling pressure to find the one right for us. We considered Cottons but the woman didn't seem to be bothered, it was as though she was bored with her job. Statham Lodge is booked 2 years in advance and everywhere else just wasn't what we were after. My Mum made me stop at Etrop, I knew of it was too near the Airport for my liking. All this changed once I stepped inside. We had no appointment but the General Manager spent some time with us and then we arranged to go for a proper viewing and met Jaf. The man is fantastic, he has so many ideas and plans and I am sure the day will be amazing. I just hope he doesn't leave! I take on board the comments about there not being too much in the way of grounds for photos but everything else about this venue more than makes up for it. They are even letting us get married on a Saturday late Sept 07 although we have below the minimum numbers so I don't agree they are unflexible. I have full confidence in the team so far and am happy to take their advice - they are all so friendly and the place is relaxed. Good luck to all getting married at Etrop - I will keep an eye out for your reviews after your wedding.

Etrop Grange you won’t be disappointed!!!
After looking at numerous venues in the south Manchester / Cheshire area Etrop is a little Gem!!!! We looked around Statham Lodge, Mottram Hall and the Mere court to name a few and were disappointed by them all. The staff at the Mere court were rude and unhelpful and Statham Lodge just looked like it needed to have a good clean and a redecoration. Mottram was nice but not what you would expect from the out side view. The room didn’t have the high ceilings and period feel like you would expect. So along came Etrop. We never even considered this hotel in our original choice. However the hotel has been extended and refurbished in recent years. The hotel was lovely, spacious, clean and the staff are extremely friendly. Try to get an appointment with Jaf for your show round. He looks after you on the actual day so really gives useful insight into the actual day. We went to the hotel at 8:30 and didn’t leave until 10:45!!! With Jaf ensuring we were happy with everything and had seen everything that we may need to see. We came away with an amazing picture of what our wedding will be like. Jaf gave us loads of ideas and some good leads for Cars, cakes, venue decorators and photographers. Which was a great help. So I’m just counting down until my big day in May 2007. If your looking for that special venue try the Etrop Grange you won’t be disappointed!!!

The happiest day of our lives!
Just returned from our honeymoon and felt obliged to comment on what definitely was the happiest day of our lives! The hotel itself is perect, really feels like you are in someones home. Helen the wedding co-ordinator did a great job in suggesting things we should and shouldn't do, made us feel very confident that everything was being organised properly. On the actual day, we were looked after by Jaf who did an outstanding job of looking after us and guiding us through each part of the day, and also being our toastmaster. He was there from start to finish and really did make us feel like royalty the whole day! We are so glad we chose Etrop for our wedding, it was everything we expected, and more!

Faultless!!
Went to view the hotel over a year in advance of my wedding. On this visit i found the duty manager extremely helpful, he spent an hour and a half with us and talked us through how a typical wedding operates. In the run up to the wedding, the coordinator was great and the manager who was running the day actuall asked us to go and meet him. The day itself was fantastic. Food, Service and venue all five star. All our guests commented on what a fantastic day they had. I would definitely reccommend etrop grange to anybody looking for a venue for their big day!

Fantastic day at a fantastic hotel
I had my wedding here last October and had a wonderful day. The wedding coordinator was really helpful in the run up to the day, and the duty manager on the day kept us organised. Several of our friends commented on what a lovely atmosphere the hotel had.
