We booked to stay at Buxted for 2 nights, an evening before dinner and the main day where we hired the whole venue. Gemma and the team at Buxted were absolutely amazing, and supported us right from the start. The venue is absolutely beautiful and all of our guests said the same. On the day, Marc the toastmaster had a real impact on all of our guests and made the day really special. Thank you for making our dream wedding come true!

Horsted Place Hotel

We took exclusive use of the outstanding Horsted Place for our wedding reception in June 2026. It turned out to be on the hottest June day ever! The staff were exceptional in both looking after our guests and helping them cope with the hot weather. Pre planning was very thorough and flexible. Food was excellent, good quality and well presented. Guests were very complimentary. With exclusive use we were able to spread out and take advantage of all the facilities, including outdoor areas. Particular praise for hotel Manager Adam, who not only led the team of committed, friendly and helpful staff, but was personally heavily involved. We had a truly memorable day at Horsted Place.

We had the most incredible wedding day at East Sussex National, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for such a special occasion. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully organised and the whole team made us feel so welcome and looked after. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds and plenty of gorgeous spaces for photographs, giving us so many wonderful memories to treasure. A very special mention has to go to Rachel, who was absolutely magnificent from start to finish. The amount of organising, coordination and direction she managed throughout the day was incredible, and yet she never lost her personality or warmth. Despite everything she had to juggle, Rachel was still able to have a laugh and a joke with us and our guests, making everyone feel completely at ease. She struck the perfect balance between being incredibly professional and organised while still being friendly, fun and genuinely herself. She really did go above and beyond, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everything she did to make our day so special.
