We got married at Buxted Park Hotel on 31 December 2025, and have only just come back down from the wedding high. The most incredible day for our New Year's Eve wedding and we cannot thank the team at Buxted enough. From the moment we visited we knew it was the place for us; the grounds and hotel are stunning and the team are experts in what they do. Every member of staff we interacted with through the whole process were so incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests have all commented on how wonderful everything was from their perspective too. The food was amazing and plentiful, drinks were flowing and the evening fireworks, oh my goodness - extraordinary. Special mentions have to go to Gemma who has answered countless emails over the months in the run up with professionalism, care and friendly humour - you are an angel thank you. And also to Marc and Jamie who kept our day running perfectly to time, thank you. We cannot recommend Buxted Park enough, no notes and no changes. Just wish we could do it all over again.

After 26 year together we decided to get married. We had arranged to get married at Eastbourne Registry office and have our wedding breakfast at the Powdermill Hotel in Battle. Unfortunately they had to cancel as they had to shut down for refurbishment and recommended Horsted Place Hotel as an alternative venue. Our wedding was to be a small family affair with only 13 guests and Horsted Place managed to accommodate us on our requested date. We cannot fault the service we received, from initial contact, to the day itself. Everything ran very smoothly indeed. The wedding breakfast was fantastic with our guests commenting on how lovely the food was, the presentation, the service and the venue. Everybody enjoyed the day, especially us. Thank you for putting in the effort to making our day very special indeed. We would certainly recommend Horsted Place Hotel as a venue for your wedding. Claire & Steve

We had never really considered a winter wedding. We were looking for something summery - think field with hay bails - festival vibes. But we visited East Sussex National as part of a wedding fair that they were hosting and we arranged a full tour, this was around Christmas time and instantly fell in love with the place. Everything just felt right. Tracey and her team were so supportive throughout, responding quickly to any question we had - never making us feel like we were asking a silly question! We had a number of meetings and opportunities to visit beforehand and everything was smooth and put us at ease. On the day itself, we couldn't have asked for more. The team on the day, lead brilliantly by Rachel, couldn't do more - from the waiters, to the bar staff, to the chefs, we couldn't have asked for more. Some beautiful touches in our room after the wedding really made us feel special. Thank you to the whole team who made our special day perfect.
