Booked 2 years in advance so after the initial booking we didn’t have too much correspondence which is fine as the important details were booked in at the appropriate times, however if I did need to ask anything it was always answered. On the actual wedding day all the staff from Paul, Heather and Samuel to all onsite staff were brilliant, I’d mention one lady in particular but I didn’t catch her name however she took a last minute picture in the loft and was just so lovely and kind all day and at breakfast the next day, hopefully if she reads this she knows it’s her! Everything we bought to have set up for the ceremony and wedding breakfast was placed just as we asked, loved the little touch of a pizza each being delivered to our room at the end of the evening too so we didn’t miss out on the evening food (which was pizza) - it was thoroughly enjoyed! We had a brilliant time. The only thing I’d say we were sad to miss out on was a ‘taster’ evening, the only one offered to us was a couple of weeks before our wedding day which we’d already had our final choices meetings so it felt a bit useless to pay to have a taster evening.

We had our wedding at Stanford farm on the 14.02.26 and it was simply the most amazing day! Everything ran perfectly and Keith was on hand throughout the day - we really appreciated having him there! Nothing was too much trouble and he just helped to keep us calm. It really is such a unique and special place! Our guest couldn’t stop going on about how beautiful a venue it was! We cannot thank the team at Stanford enough for helping us have the most magical day!

We were lucky enough to get married at Moat Hall Barns in August 2025 and had the most incredible day. We first came across the venue when researching locations around Shrewsbury/ Telford and immediately booked to attend an open day after viewing photos online. While there, we fell in love with the venue and its grounds, and immediately booked our wedding date with the coordination service. Amy and Ben were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process; we booked various suppliers who we had met on the open day which made the process of planning the wedding completely effortless, and it was reassuring to know that they were suppliers who had worked at the venue before and were trustworthy. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Amy was always willing to answer our questions and give us pointers in terms of timings and details which we may have forgotten. The day itself was perfect and we received so many compliments on the venue; our guests were blown away by the amenities, how beautifully the barn had been restored, and all of the areas they could explore throughout the day. Even things like the ease of the parking were praised by our guests, something that was especially helpful for guests in wheelchairs. We were so delighted with how perfectly the venue could be shaped into our dream, and it was great to see all of our visions come to life - something that's incredibly nerve-wracking when planning a wedding day. Amy and Ben couldn't have been more helpful across the three days that we hired Moat Hall Barns, and it was always such a relief to know that they were close at hand to help out if we had any questions or needed any advice. We’re based in London and specifically wanted a countryside escape for our wedding and Burlton Manor delivered that and so much more. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice (it was actually the only venue we visited, and for very good reason haha!) The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with so many different areas to explore. Our guests were genuinely surprised by how much the space had to offer!! Every corner felt unique and added to the overall experience. It created such a magical, immersive atmosphere across the whole weekend. What truly made everything exceptional, though, was the team. Every single member of staff went above and beyond, not just for us, but for all of our guests. They are an incredibly professional, warm, and attentive team (and we loved that it’s a majority female team too - let’s go girls!). Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely team. A very special thank you to Katie, our wedding planner and coordinator, who was simply phenomenal. Everything ran so smoothly because of her, and we felt completely relaxed and calm throughout. something we didn’t think would be possible as Type A brides! Her organisational skills are genuinely unreal, and she handled every detail with such ease There were also so many thoughtful touches that meant the world to us: from hanging up my wedding dress to leaving pizza and cake in our room at the end of the night to make sure we had something to eat. It’s those little moments that really show how much they care! 🥹 As an LGBTQ+ couple, we couldn’t have asked for a more inclusive and supportive venue. The team were incredibly accepting, experienced, and proactive in making sure everything reflected us. They offered thoughtful adjustments, like providing a second bridal getting-ready space, and always asked questions rather than making assumptions. The same level of care extended to cultural elements of our wedding to, they made helpful suggestions and were genuinely invested in getting everything right. All in all, we absolutely loved our experience. Burlton Manor is a truly special place with an outstanding team behind it, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it!! especially to other LGBTQ+ couples looking for a venue that is not only beautiful, but genuinely inclusive and attentive.

I’ve not got married before, so I don’t have anything else to compare to. But we both loved the venue so much, we fell in love with the barn from the moment we saw it. All of our guests commented that it was beautiful too! The Wroxeter company provide a wedding co-ordinator (we had Aimee and she was absolutely amazing! 10/10!!) who really takes the stress out of the day and makes sure everything goes smoothly. We wanted a package wedding where food etc is all provided as we’re busy and didn’t want to have to find / coordinate vendors ourselves, and this ticked those boxes. We thought it was good value for money compared to other venues. We did swap the DJ for one that we felt was more “us” though. A couple of things to note- the road leading up to the farm had absolutely horrific potholes the week of the wedding, I think it’s unadopted so could really do with some TLC for the guest / vendor comfort. The farm doesn’t have a kitchen on site, so the food is brought up from the wroxeter hotel. We were nervous about this - but the food we had was really good and you couldn’t tell (hog roast and evening pizza/chips) The tea and coffee capabilities were limited - not sure if this is something that could be improved. We had quite a few guests requesting hot drinks in the evening and they could only do a couple at a time because of lack of mugs/ hot water (I think) But all in all we had THE BEST day, it was so beautiful. And part of the charm is that it’s a bit rough around the edges! We’d definitely recommend it!
