Offering a dedicated ceremony area, an outdoor reception terrace, and charming overnight accommodations, Cairns Farm has everything you need to create unforgettable memories.
We can host up to 140 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 180 guests for your evening reception.
Cairns Farm offers a weekend and a midweek package, ensuring couples can celebrate their big day at any time of year. Our packages include:
- Exclusive use of the Repurposed Lamb Shed at Cairns Farm
- Access to Harperrig Reservoir for photos
- 2 Night Wedding Hire including 1 Honeyhoom Suite for our couples, the Farmhouse consiting of 10 Bedrooms & 6 individual luxuary Glamping Cabins
- The afternoon before to decorate the venue however you decide or just relax by a firepit with your family
- A light and airy ceremony room with stunning views of Harperrig Reservoir
- A dedicated Events Coordinator, who can help you with all things wedding planning
- Our dedicated dance floor space so you can dance the night away- No moving tables and chairs to make space, we have the wooden dance floor ready to go!

Our Dream Wedding
Myself and my husband fell in love with Cairns Farm from the moment we drove up to it on our first visit.
With the backdrop of the gorgeous reservoir, pentland hills, and farmland we couldn’t wait to find out what the venue space itself had to offer, and we certainly were not disappointed.
The attention to detail in the venue space is second to none. With old church pews filling the ceremony room, and tables in the reception area created from trees found on the farmland itself, there is a personal touch to every little corner of Cairns.
Not only is the venue space gorgeous but the team that help you create your dream day are just amazingly good at what they do.
From the moment I woke up on my wedding morning to the moment I went to bed that evening (and even in to the next morning!) myself and our guests felt so well looked after.
We had the amazing Erica as our wedding coordinator and also had help from the fabulous owner Caroline. The pair ensured our day went on without a single hitch, and that we got to enjoy what we had planned toward for over a year.
Not only did they ensure all the big moments ran smoothly, but they went the extra mile to make things even more special (if that’s even possible). Unfortunately my grandparents due to ill health could not make my wedding day, and I did not find this out until the morning of. The team didn’t just re-organise table plans, and shuffle speeches, but the next morning they had gathered my grandparents name cards, favours, my grans gift flowers, and even two bits of wedding cake for them both. This was gorgeously presented in the farmhouse for us to see the next day. As I said, they truly do care.
I cannot rate Cairns Farm highly enough. I probably could write a whole essay on why (in my opinion) this is the best wedding venue out there. We want to thank the team again for making our dream day a reality. They have created something truly special at Cairns and we feel so lucky to have been able to host our wedding at this perfect venue.
