Harvest Moon were perfect for our wedding - the venue and barn was absolutely beautiful and the entire team were so easy to work with. Very happy with our decision to get married at Harvest Moon, would do it all over again!

We had our wedding at Branxholme Castle a couple of months ago, at the end of June, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the very start, Carol worked hard to plan the day around us, and incorporate all the aspects we hoped for. The day was beautiful and everything ran so smoothly. The venue itself, the views of the surrounding areas and the barns and decor were all beautiful - so much so that we didn't need to bring our own flowers. The site was intimate, yet we had 90 guests and there was more than enough space for everybody. We had a Ceilidh in the evening to celebrate, which was an absolute triumph and Carol and the team even helped us to finish a little earlier than planned, so that everyone went home full of joy! We stayed in the suite for one night, and our families stayed in the cottages for the night before as well, and they were wonderful experiences. Very clean, very comfy and great personalized service. We especially recommend the cooked breakfast in the morning! Thank you Carol and Brian and the Branxholme team for such a wonderful, joyful day! We highly recommend Branxholme to anyone considering a wedding on the Scottish Borders.

We were recently married at Runningburn and the day was just amazing from start to finish. Yvonne and Jim are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble, they really know how to take the stress out of organising a wedding! So many of our guests commented on how professional yet friendly there were on the day, add the location and view and it is just the perfect place. Thank you so much guys - we had the best day ever!

Myself and my husband fell in love with Cairns Farm from the moment we drove up to it on our first visit. With the backdrop of the gorgeous reservoir, pentland hills, and farmland we couldn’t wait to find out what the venue space itself had to offer, and we certainly were not disappointed. The attention to detail in the venue space is second to none. With old church pews filling the ceremony room, and tables in the reception area created from trees found on the farmland itself, there is a personal touch to every little corner of Cairns. Not only is the venue space gorgeous but the team that help you create your dream day are just amazingly good at what they do. From the moment I woke up on my wedding morning to the moment I went to bed that evening (and even in to the next morning!) myself and our guests felt so well looked after. We had the amazing Erica as our wedding coordinator and also had help from the fabulous owner Caroline. The pair ensured our day went on without a single hitch, and that we got to enjoy what we had planned toward for over a year. Not only did they ensure all the big moments ran smoothly, but they went the extra mile to make things even more special (if that’s even possible). Unfortunately my grandparents due to ill health could not make my wedding day, and I did not find this out until the morning of. The team didn’t just re-organise table plans, and shuffle speeches, but the next morning they had gathered my grandparents name cards, favours, my grans gift flowers, and even two bits of wedding cake for them both. This was gorgeously presented in the farmhouse for us to see the next day. As I said, they truly do care. I cannot rate Cairns Farm highly enough. I probably could write a whole essay on why (in my opinion) this is the best wedding venue out there. We want to thank the team again for making our dream day a reality. They have created something truly special at Cairns and we feel so lucky to have been able to host our wedding at this perfect venue.
