Welcome to Aswanley, a Victorian barn in the magical grounds of a 17th century fortified house in the Highlands. It’s been a much-loved family home for many generations and it’s a wonderful place for weddings.

We have created an unusual wedding venue suitable for both sumptuous wedding receptions, as well as intimate family gatherings.

Your home for the day

The venue consists of a spacious and adaptable blank canvas barn and the surrounding grounds. The barn has a series of interconnecting rooms with its fireplace room at the centre. The barn boasts all the features of a country house wedding venue, along with the scale and versatility to enable you to create a unique wedding day.

More than a blank canvas

Aswanley can be styled as much or as little as you want. It can be personalised with the tiniest of touches or completely re-imagined. The venue hire fee includes almost everything you need from chairs and tables, to a catering kitchen, cutlery, crockery and glassware. Please ask our in house wedding co-ordinators about the packages we can offer letting us do all the work and organisation behind the scenes.
