With over 20 years experience in organising weddings within our restaurant & the marquee attached, we appreciate that this is one of the most important days of your life. Our approach to your special day is to tailor everything to your needs, from drinks at the reception to the creation of our individual menu with choices of each course for you & your guests on the day.

Summary information

All the rooms at The Old School House Restaurant are approved for civil ceremonies for up to 140 guests. For larger receptions that include dancing and entertainment, the Wyatt Pavilion, a luxury semi-permanent marquee structure with a state-of-the-art sound system, is the ideal room as far as size and flexibility are concerned. The Old School House Restaurant sits on 11 acres of privately-owned grounds and is surrounded by rolling fields. For a particularly unforgettable entrance, you can even arrive at your reception by helicopter! We cater for small intimate occasions to large family gatherings and with no set packages we are extremely versatile, nothing is too much trouble to ensure you have the Wedding Day you always dreamed of. The one thing we do that no other establishment does for weddings is to offer a choice from each course, on the day, for the guests.

      Excellent Wedding Venue
      My daughter got married here in Feb 2010. We had a wonderful day the food was great also the staff. If you want to feel like a princes on your wedding day then this is the place for you. Thank you to all the staff and management. Regards Sarah French

You and your team have been highly praised by our staff who attended the party, for everything from the excellent food to the professional yet friendly service.       Just a note to say thanks very much for a lovely day on Derek''s 60th Birthday. It was a fabulous day and went really well. The food was excellent, and the staff were really lovely and worked so hard to make the day go so well. Also thank you for setting up the television for the England game - shame we lost.       29th December Wedding
      Just a few lines to thank you, your colleagues and staff for the excellent day we had on the occasion of our marriage on 29th December. Everything was first class, our only complaint being it all went far too quickly. Please extend special thanks to Julie for all the help and advice she gave in the weeks leading up to the ecent and for her sterling efforts on the actual day. So too, please to Chris who worked tirelessly during the breakfast and behind the bar. One cannot forget,m of course, those behind the scenes in the kitchen putting together a truly fists class fare.
