Facilities and Capacity
The Admiral Hardy contains a number of spaces readily available to host an elegant ceremony, wedding breakfast, or evening reception. Accommodating up to 150 standing or 90 seated of your nearest and dearest, Clarence Hall is located on the second floor and features double-height ceilings and a private bar. The ample space provided at this site allows you to have plenty of room for dining, a spacious dance floor, and live entertainment, such as a DJ or band. You can host your special day in The Hardy Room for more intimate gatherings. With space for up to 40 seated or 60 standing, the space is the perfect size to feel both intimate and grand. Both areas are bright and airy but not without the perfect amount of old-world charm, boasting stunning features like warm wooden floors, a fireplace, and antique furnishings. Should your guest list demand it, you can choose to use both spaces alongside each other, allowing guests to flow effortlessly from one room to another.

Amazing just amazing
The Admarl Hardy team were able to fulfil every needs and requirements throughout our stay. We had hotel rooms the large clearance room and guests of up to 40. We initially had the Hardy room booked but we were upgraded to the Clarence room and it made an amazing difference to the Admarl Hardy team, even with a few small bumps were able to smooth them out and make them perfect again to make the day flow and give us the peace of mind that everything was been done so we could enjoy your day. Highly recommend the team run by David and his partner.

The best day!
We held our reception in the Hardy Room and Clarence Hall and could not have been happier with it as a venue. Our priority was to make sure the day was relaxed and easy for both ourselves and our guests and Zoe and the rest of the Admiral Hardy team delivered that brilliantly. In the lead-up Zoe was always available to field our many questions and gave us guidance when we were clueless, and then on the day itself she was a helpful but unobtrusive presence to make sure everything went smoothly. We've had so many compliments on the food, both the canapés and the meal, and they were able to accommodate special requests such as kids meals and particular beers we wanted to provide. We were given free rein to decorate the rooms and there was no strict deadline to tidy up the next day, which was a godsend! Anya was also hugely helpful when we had to leave a parcel at the pub to be picked up by couriers the following week, as we were away on our honeymoon. We'd recommend the Admiral Hardy as a venue without hesitation and are so grateful to the whole team for their work in making the day so much fun. Thank you!

Fantastic day
We had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at the admiral hardy, and what can I say, it was an absolutely perfect day from start to finish.
Zoe and the rest of the team were amazing. We wanted a low key venue that also felt special for our wedding and definitely got that!
We asked for a bespoke menu (predominantly vegan/vegetarian), this was done without question and the food was absolutely perfect, many of our guests commented on how much they loved the food.
The atmosphere was amazing and Zoe did everything possible to accommodate our requests and make the day what it was.
Communication was responsive from start to finish.
If we could do it all over again there is nothing we would change and would highly recommend the admiral hardy as a venue!

Perfect hidden gem of a find, for a perfect big day
Zoe and her team at the Admiral Hardy were the absolute dream to work with to help make our wedding day the day we'd always dreamed of. Nothing was too much trouble, our requests were accommodated at every step, and Zoe's calm, unflappable and warm demeanour at all points helped keep our feet on the ground! The venue itself was perfect for us - we wanted somewhere with the convivial atmosphere of a pub, and the combination of the two different rooms meant we got that, as well as a big space for the party to take off in. Greenwich is a special place for us and so the history of the pub (a former music hall!) and its location in central Greenwich was not only emotionally perfect, but meant we were able to take the most fabulous photos on the day. Honestly I couldn't recommend the AH highly enough - thanks so much for making our day so special.

Great Georgian period venue!
We held our rehearsal dinner in the Hardy Room of the Admiral Hardy (this is the smaller of their event rooms as we had just 30 guests for our rehearsal dinner). It is a lovely period venue - the floor to ceiling windows in the Hardy Room are lovely! Zoe coordinated our event and was always friendly, quick to respond and helpful. The menu & wine tasting was a great experience for planning our event, and the venue didn't disappoint on the day - Zoe and the other staff were keen to help with any last minute requests and questions and ensured everything ran smoothly on the night. Our hotel room above the pub and events space was a lovely room for our wedding weekend too!

A positive & special occasion enjoy by all..!

If your in a similar situation like my wife, Pilvi and I then the Admiral Hardy is the place to be!
Having Family and friends from two countries ( Finland and England) and a not alot of time which to plan with, then I'm grateful we found the Admiral Hardy.
The hall really makes the occasion along with food, staff and the location.
My wife Pilvi and I are so very happy as all our guests commented how much they enjoyed & loved the day!
Even when I had a problem, being let down by another supplier ( Wedding cake)
still Zoe was able to go a little out of her way and fix it, so our evening went along smoothly which I'm very grateful for!
So go a head and book the Admiral Hardy, you won't regret it..! :) Xx

Wonderful Experience
We had an absolute fantastic experience at the Admiral Hardy for our wedding reception & evening party. The room for hire is beautiful, a large size space with floor to ceiling windows and lots of natural light. Zoe, the events manager was lovely, communicative and accommodating to our requests and changes to the menu. The food tasting was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, the food and wine were amazing, this process made it really easy to choose the options for the big day. We had access to the room the day before the wedding to set up the room, Anna and team were so helpful and were really great with all my guests but especially my elderly parents, I am so grateful for. Several Guests and I stayed at the Admiral Hardy the night before, the bedrooms are decorated beautifully, are comfortable and large in size. We arrived at the venue early on the day but no problem for Zoe and the team, the prosecco was flowing in no time. The food on the day was incredible, we had so many compliments on the venue, food and team, I really can’t thank the team enough for making our special day wonderful. The venue has a 13mm jack to connect your phone for music and allow band/singer, we opted for a singer in the evening. The photographer and singer were looked after by the team with food an beverages included for them as well, a really lovely touch.
They really did go the extra mile, highly recommend the Admiral Hardy for you special day too.

Would Definitely Recommend
We had both the ceremony and reception at The Admiral and I'm so glad we did. In the lead up to the event, Zoe's communication was great and the team were so flexible and understanding. The rooms were laid out exactly how we expected them to be and everything looked so elegant and lovely. The bedrooms were really nice, decorated so well, but with all the traffic noise we hardly got any sleep.
The food was delicious, and the team that supported the whole evening were exceptional. Everyone had an amazing time and it was the catering and serving staff that made the day.

Fantastic Experience
Our wedding reception at the Admiral Hardy was absolutely fantastic. The room for hire is clean, great large space with lots of natural light. Dave, the events manager, was helpful from start to finish with the planning process. He was able to work with what we wanted and amend some set items to be flexible to our costs and food needs. Staff were both organised and flexible.
The event itself ran very smoothly. We had a couple of scheduling changes but they were able to accomodate us very flexibly. The staff also did a great job not having to ask us too many questions on the actual day (another sign of great organisation).
Food and wine were also excellent! We would highly recommend this venue.

Absolutely incredible team and venue for our perfect pub wedding!
We couldn’t recommend this venue enough. The food was superb (and we got the silver menu), the team were so wonderful with our guests, the event manager spent so much time with us to make sure the wedding and set up was within our budget and what we wanted, plus the venue itself is stunning. It’s a pub wedding but Clarence Hall is a show stopper room. We could also have a photos in the park! We stayed at the venue and the rooms were also perfect!
