We had a few little complications with people leaving and us getting different event organisers, but in the end we got the amazing Lily Barber! Where do I start!? She was on it from the second we met her right up until the end (and even after!) she is efficient, kind hearted and overall just an amazing person aswell as amazing with at her job! Coming from South London, we knew we wanted a London wedding, but finding a venue as unique and incredible as Battersea Arts Centre was a complete bonus. We hired the Council Chamber for our ceremony and the Grand Hall for our reception and had the Octagonal Hall for our drinks reception and speeches. The venue is truly like no other, and our guests, along with us, were completely blown away by its beauty. We added some extra decorations to the spaces but the venue itself is spectacular even without them. The lighting, including uplighters, dapple lighting, and festoon string lighting, was done incredibly well. The team at Battersea Arts Centre knows how to highlight the building's inherent charm, creating an atmosphere that is both magical and enchanting. A special mention goes to Mat and their team. Mat was our events manager and our primary contact throughout the process. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and their communication was perfect, making us feel incredibly reassured and listened to at every stage. Mat provided thorough walkthroughs, liaised seamlessly with all our suppliers, and ensured that everything on the day went off without a hitch. Their dedication and skill were evident in the flawless execution of our event. Mat was a pleasure to work with—a genuinely lovely person who made the entire experience enjoyable. Battersea Arts Centre exceeded all our expectations and provided a wedding experience we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a unique and breathtaking venue in south London, this is it.

We had our wedding at The County Arms on Saturday, and it was the most magical experience from start to finish. From our beautiful ceremony in the Trinity Room, to our cosy drinks reception in the Library, and finally the unforgettable meal and evening party in the Belvedere Room, every moment was absolutely perfect. The entire team made what could have been a stressful process feel completely effortless - everything ran so smoothly. The food was incredible (all our guests commented on how delicious it was!) and it was all delivered with flawless timing and care. A huge shoutout to Clara, the absolute queen of event organising! Clara was there for us every step of the way, always calm, kind, and on top of everything. And to Phil, Alex, and the rest of the amazing staff, thank you for going above and beyond - you made us feel so special and looked after every detail with a smile. Every room was decorated beautifully, capturing the perfect autumn atmosphere we’d imagined. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. Thank you, County Arms, for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever 💙

We decided very early on that we’d be having a lower key London wedding and booked the Bedford within a few weeks. Becky looked after us from booking to the actual day and is so passionate and comes with some many ideas (a lot of them we hadn’t thought about). She was incredibly responsive but also kept things so simple and stress free. The food was excellent and the portions were like you’d get in the pub downstairs! They were super flexible with the wine/drinks budget, replacing red with rosé. The staff serving were excellent and everyone felt so looked after. My parents were so impressed that they took the time to email head office to thank them and sing the praises of the staff! The pub and the rooms upstairs are a great backdrop for photos too! Becky understood really early on what we wanted from the day and made it happen. Would definitely recommend to a friend and we’ll be back for future events!
