We had our wedding reception here on 15.08.25 and had the most amazing day. We chose the silver option (3 course meal) all our guests had lovely compliments about the food and really enjoyed it. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We love The Royal Oak been coming here for many years. Would highly recommend 💯. K&J

Clare and Anjali have been fantastic at organising weddings at various venues across London including The Railway Tavern. We have been providing DJs and entertainment at various venues for many years and always enjoy the weddings organised by Clare and Anjali. Their attention to detail is second to none which ensures everything runs smoothly on the day. All delivered in a warm, friendly and professional manner which makes the planning process much easier and far less stressful. Great venue, fabulous people!!

We had our wedding at The County Arms on Saturday, and it was the most magical experience from start to finish. From our beautiful ceremony in the Trinity Room, to our cosy drinks reception in the Library, and finally the unforgettable meal and evening party in the Belvedere Room, every moment was absolutely perfect. The entire team made what could have been a stressful process feel completely effortless - everything ran so smoothly. The food was incredible (all our guests commented on how delicious it was!) and it was all delivered with flawless timing and care. A huge shoutout to Clara, the absolute queen of event organising! Clara was there for us every step of the way, always calm, kind, and on top of everything. And to Phil, Alex, and the rest of the amazing staff, thank you for going above and beyond - you made us feel so special and looked after every detail with a smile. Every room was decorated beautifully, capturing the perfect autumn atmosphere we’d imagined. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. Thank you, County Arms, for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever 💙

I can’t even begin to explain how perfect our wedding reception was at the Duke’s Head. We initially enquired about booking the private space upstairs, but after seeing the restaurant, we absolutely fell in love with the river views and breezy, open feel. From the very start, Rebecca was incredible - she handled all our questions with ease, provided menus and thoughtful advice, helped us plan the room layout and set-up, and was across every detail, including allergy queries. She was a total superstar. We also spoke with Robbie and Harry in the lead-up to the day, and they were both super helpful. On the day itself, the staff were amazing and so attentive. My husband and I never had an empty glass, they saved us a plate of canapés so we wouldn’t miss out, and all our guests commented on how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The food was absolutely delicious - everyone left bursting at the seams! I’d highly recommend the Duke’s Head for any special occasion. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Venue: Melrose Room (ceremony & wedding breakfast) & Jazz Room (after party) We first booked The Bull's Head venue a year before our wedding day. About six months in, the venue was taken over by new management (we were starting to get worried, because we'd received nothing but radio silence from the old team after paying the deposit). But once we were in touch with Karolina, Ben, and the new team, any expectations we had were blown out of the water! They were simply wonderful. Responsive, flexible, and incredibly accommodating. We had numerous questions and amendments leading up to the day which were dealt with and handled expertly. On the day itself, everyone made us feel so special and looked after. Plus, the food was delicious (even our most picky guests were seriously impressed). We couldn't recommend The Bull's Head more. We held our wedding reception in the boulevard bar upstairs. It was beautifully set up by the team. The service and food were fantastic and had loads of comments from our guests. No matter what I needed the team were accommodating and relaxed throughout. Can't thank them enough for our wonderful wedding party that was enjoyed by all.

From start to end, under the new management, the team at the Dog and Fox were great! Prep meetings, wine tasting, liaising with suppliers etc we’re all planned with Riley who was helpful and super competent - we loved her ability to shape our vision and align it with the space. She was also so ‘on it’ during the day which filled me with confidence. The venue was extremely flexible and welcoming with all of our guests saying the food was great. The day was so so good and a lot of that was down to the Dog and Fox team!

We were married at Chelsea Old Town Hall and the Cadogan was a short stroll down the Kings road. The welcome and service at the Cadogan was perfect, warm and friendly but completely professional and the staff consistently went the extra mile to make our experience perfect. The food and drinks were exceptional, great beers and sparkling wines including a 0% sparkling rose for my sober friend. The pub itself it a great space and the the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Our event was organised by the in house events person Izzy who was just fantastic. She looked after us from initial enquiry, talked us through the best options for food and drinks, facilitated all of our requests and was then present on the day to make sure everything was perfect for us. Thank you so much Izzy and the wider Cadogan team for making our day incredible.

Julian, Ben and their teams made our day truly amazing. They were so attentive and on it on the day of the wedding, creating the exact vibe I envisaged - cosy, intimate and glam (just look at the photos!) The drinks menu was pricey but superb and top quality given nobody had a hangover the next day. All our guests commented on how tasty the food was too They were so flexible with getting external vendors in like our saxophonist and a wedding cake. Overall so helpful and accommodating and polite. Comms before hand could have bit a bit more forthcoming and attentive but I am a project manager so maybe I have unrealistic expectations. it was all very relaxed which flowed through theday too! Overall a 10\10 experience for our wedding venue and the perfect location

If you're hunting for the ultimate restaurant and private events spot in London, stop scrolling and start booking - Sam’s Café in Primrose Hill is an absolute showstopper. I recently hosted a dinner party in their charming, book-lined basement (think cosy literary salon meets secret supper club), and let me tell you - it was like something out of a dream. Big shoutout to Deji, the Manager Extraordinaire, who deserves a knighthood for his patience alone. I threw every tiny request at him - right down to “can we nudge the napkin a few inches to the left?” - and he met each one with grace, clarity, and a genuinely warm smile. He stayed late to walk through my increasingly detailed vision, never once said “no,” and somehow made me feel like I was the only event that mattered. Plus, every visit came with complimentary coffee or drinks (the kind of hospitality that’s becoming all too rare in London!). The food? Delicious. The drinks? Perfectly poured. The service? Impeccable. The vibe? Straight-up magical. And the location? Primrose Hill, wow. It doesn’t get more gorgeous than that. Deji also worked with us to keep everything within a very fair budget without compromising on experience - which only makes me want to come back and host a dozen more parties. In short: if you're planning a special dinner, private party, or just want an excellent meal in a beautiful space, Sam’s Café is THE ONE. Don’t even think twice. Highly, highly recommend.
