Cara was excellent and so supportive throughout the planning, arranging tastings, running through timings and answering any questions we had. I worked as a wedding coordinator for 13 years and I thought she was fantastic.

On the day the front of house team were super friendly and relaxed. They barely bothered me, and the venue looked fantastic too. They were super helpful about the bar tab and kept advising me on how we could use it up - we even got sent home with a box of wine for the underspend.

The pub dog (Sangria) was a hit with the children - apologies if they tired her out with constant attention! We had a number of children in attendance and it was lovely to see how welcoming this venue was - many in London have strict rules/curfews and no choldren policies.

All of the food was delicious and we received so many compliments about it. Our evening buffet was served upstairs, which gave guests a chance to spread out and have a quieter chat / bite to eat.

As somwbody who has worked in hospitality for hotels and bars, I cannot recommend this venue enough. Especially if you're going for a relaxed London pub wedding vibe.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for more, and we left that evening feeling incredibly happy that we’d chosen them to be part of such an important day in our lives.

From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The food was absolutely stunning, and I genuinely don’t think we had a single guest who didn’t come up to us to say how much they’d enjoyed the 3 course meal.
That alone says everything about the quality of what the chefs delivered.

We were able to drop off the decorations we’d bought and explain the look and atmosphere we wanted to create, leaving the rest in their hands.
When we arrived and saw everything set up, it genuinely exceeded our expectations.
The space looked beautiful, and they’d brought our vision to life even better than we’d imagined.

A special mention has to go to Arthur and his team for the care and effort they put in throughout the day and evening.
Everyone was so polite, welcoming and attentive, making sure we and our guests were looked after.
Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and that made such a difference on a day when you want to be able to relax and enjoy every moment.

The DJ was brilliant, the food was exceptional, and the venue itself was perfect for our wedding party of 80 people.
Their wedding package was worth every penny, and they delivered far beyond what we could have hoped for.

We feel incredibly lucky to have chosen The Coin Laundry.
We’ll always look back on our day with happy memories, and they played a huge part in that.

We had our wedding party at Coin Laundry after our ceremony, with 160 guests, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect! We wanted a chic, relaxed London wedding where everyone could mingle, eat, drink and dance, and Coin Laundry delivered exactly that.

The space worked brilliantly for our numbers, with the downstairs basement and the upstairs ground-floor area giving the party different atmospheres throughout the evening. We were especially lucky with the weather, so the outside tables meant the party spilled out onto the terrace too. It created such a lovely, lively atmosphere, with people moving between the spaces all night. We chose to serve food and drinks standing up, which kept everything dynamic and sociable, while still having chairs available for anyone who wanted a break. The downstairs area was perfect for a cosier dance floor and DJ set later in the evening.

The food was incredible — or so everyone tells me, as I was having far too much fun to eat! The chicken was apparently a particular hit. We also brought our own wedding cake, and the team were happy to help us carry it out. For speeches, they had microphones and even a projector screen, which made everything really straightforward.

A huge shout-out to the bar staff, who were absolutely lovely. Despite having 160 people and a very busy party, nobody seemed to be waiting for drinks. The whole team worked so smoothly behind the scenes, which makes such a difference when you’re hosting a big event.

Special thanks to Arthur and Eloise on the day, who were so lovely and also found us when we needed to top up the tab and to Cara, who helped me work out the right quantities of food and drink on a call beforehand. She was spot on, and I really trusted her experience and advice. One tip she gave me and I would pass on to anyone planning an event here: order more food than you think you need! You can always order more drinks on the night, but you can’t retrospectively order more food once the party is underway.

The venue also recommended JW’s DJ agency, who sent Kallum. He was fantastic, knew exactly how to read the room and was flexible with the music throughout the night, keeping the energy just right.

We had the best time, and our guests did too. Coin Laundry gave us the perfect setting for genuinely memorable London wedding party. We had the best experience with Coin Laundry for our wedding. The pre planning process with Cara was smooth and seamless, she was super responsive and helpful. On the day everything went amazingly. Our guests were so impressed with the food (best wedding food ever!) and how lovely the staff were - nothing was too much trouble and they were all so fun. We also loved having the two floors so we could have people that wanted to party downstairs and people that were happy being more chilled upstairs and outside. Thanks so much to CL - can't wait to celebrate our anniversary there for years to come!

Our top priorities for our day were good food, good drinks and a great party - Coin Laundry smashed every aspect.

From our first visit through to picking up decor the day after, everyone was incredibly helpful, responsive and lovely. They removed any stress and made sure we and our guests could just focus on enjoying the wedding. The service day of was also top notch. Thank you so much Cara, Arthur, Eloise and team. The space looked beautiful and having both the outside tables and the air conditioned basement was a life saver during the heatwave. It meant we were on the packed dance floor right until the end.

Our guests can’t stop talking about the food, many told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (the canapés, meal and evening food).

Our only regret was not ordering more fried chicken at night.

The Coin Laundry staff were calm, helpful and so positive the day before the wedding and on the day itself. They made us feel at home and were always ready to work with us and help in any way they could. The food was delicious both at the sit down meal as well as what was brought out as finger food in the evening. The room downstairs was great for dancing in, and the staff got the seating arrangements for the meal upstairs spot on and as requested. I’m the father of the bride and wasn’t involved in choosing the venue, but I’m very glad my daughter and her now husband did. Thank you Coin Laundry.

The service before and on the day itself was very personal and all the staff were very helpful and made the day special. The format for organising the details for the day is easy to navigate and we had calls with the team to run through everything beforehand. On the day itself, the onsite team set up the venue with our decorations perfectly and the venue looked amazing. We had so many compliments from guests on the quality of the service and the food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond (in particular Arthur), saving us evening food and helping pack up all the stuff at the end of the evening. We would recommend to any couples looking for a fun, relaxed London wedding in a beautiful venue.

We loved our wedding at the coin laundry! The staff were really helpful, everything ran so smoothly, the food was delicious and there was an incredible atmosphere. They made planning the wedding very easy and straightforward! The venue is cute and cosy, the exact vibe we were looking for, in an incredible spot on Exmouth market. For a romantic, cosy, stylish London wedding that is such good value for money I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Honestly I couldn’t recommend this venue any more. What you get for your money is above and beyond, this includes the quality of the food served on the day as well as the service on the day, as well as the team assistance you get in the build up to plan it exactly how you want. They listened and accommodated to every request we had and the communication was top tier. It’s a super cool vibe, and the downstairs for dancing is a winner having the bar so close to the dance floor. Literal aesthetics and logistical operations could not be topped if anyone tried. We hired Coin Laundry for our wedding in July and it was absolutely incredible. We had to change venues at short notice for reasons outside of our control and from the moment we chose Coin Laundry they were amazing from start to finish. Communication with Zac and the team in the months leading up to the day was great with quick, clear and detailed responses to all of our questions and we were assigned a planner called Cara who went through everything, from menus, to table set up, timings and everything inbetween to make sure things ran smoothly on the day. We had a Studio 54 theme for the day and so had a vision of how we wanted the space to look and they accommodated all of our requests without any trouble. The team decorated the space for us on the day and they were happy for us to drop things off the day before, including the cake and other sweets which meant we weren't having to bring things on the day. It was really important for us to have good food at our wedding and we were not disappointed. It was delicious and fresh and we had so much good feedback about it from guests which was great! If you are looking for a relaxed and fun wedding venue in London then we would definitely recommend Coin Laundry. They made our day one that we will remember forever and we wish we could do it all over again!

Planning our wedding with coin laundry was seamless and so easy! We had a few calls with Cara in the lead up and she helped us finalise the food & drinks and gave us some tips and ideas for the day which was super helpful. We dropped off our decorations the day before our wedding and they took care of everything the morning of. Arthur and the rest of the staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing and all our guests said the same. The venue is absolutely perfect if you want relaxed party vibes but still with a wedding feel. We had a live singer upstairs after dinner then opened up downstairs to dance all night! We honestly had the most amazing day and would recommend coin laundry 100%!! Thank you to all the team once again!

We've had our wedding reception at the Coin Laundry over the weekend (August 2025). The venue was exceptional in every way. From the first time we went to view the space, to the day after our wedding when we went back for a roast dinner - every detail was perfect. The bar team (special shout out to Max and Arthur) were extremely friendly, helpful and happy to help with anything on the day. Extremely capable and knew exactly how to best set the place up for a wedding party. Cara, Zac and the events team were super helpful in the lead up, preparing us a "planner" spreadsheet allowing us to personalise every aspect and make our selections. We had separate calls with Cara and Arthur before the big day to talk about the finer details, and it gave us full peace of mind that we were in good hands! The food was top quality and they made extra efforts for our guests with dietary requirements. Lovely selection of beers and really good cocktails. They helped our band / DJs set up the equipment and were happy to help with any requests throughout the evening. Extremely accommodating and nothing was too much of an ask. Coin Laundry and Exmouth Market really do make a beautful setting for a London wedding and we are soooooo glad that we decided to choose them for ours!
