We got married at Islington Town Hall followed by a reception at Coin Laundry. It was the perfect venue for us, we loved the mid-century modern decor and the chic vibe of the place which meant we had to add really limited decoration to make the place look great. The team on the day (and in the run up) could not have been more amazing - particular shout out to Arthur/Max and the rest of the team at the venue who managed the setup. The guests all raved about the delicious canapés and loved the concept of the sharing boards for mains/starters. It was great to have the whole venue, upstairs more suitable for quiet chilled vibes in the evening while the rowdier partying can take place in comfort downstairs. Truly had the best day of our lives here!

Honestly I couldn’t recommend this venue any more. What you get for your money is above and beyond, this includes the quality of the food served on the day as well as the service on the day, as well as the team assistance you get in the build up to plan it exactly how you want. They listened and accommodated to every request we had and the communication was top tier. It’s a super cool vibe, and the downstairs for dancing is a winner having the bar so close to the dance floor. Literal aesthetics and logistical operations could not be topped if anyone tried. Thank you Coin Laundry team!

We hired Coin Laundry for our wedding in July and it was absolutely incredible. We had to change venues at short notice for reasons outside of our control and from the moment we chose Coin Laundry they were amazing from start to finish. Communication with Zac and the team in the months leading up to the day was great with quick, clear and detailed responses to all of our questions and we were assigned a planner called Cara who went through everything, from menus, to table set up, timings and everything inbetween to make sure things ran smoothly on the day. We had a Studio 54 theme for the day and so had a vision of how we wanted the space to look and they accommodated all of our requests without any trouble. The team decorated the space for us on the day and they were happy for us to drop things off the day before, including the cake and other sweets which meant we weren't having to bring things on the day. It was really important for us to have good food at our wedding and we were not disappointed. It was delicious and fresh and we had so much good feedback about it from guests which was great! If you are looking for a relaxed and fun wedding venue in London then we would definitely recommend Coin Laundry. They made our day one that we will remember forever and we wish we could do it all over again!

Planning our wedding with coin laundry was seamless and so easy! We had a few calls with Cara in the lead up and she helped us finalise the food & drinks and gave us some tips and ideas for the day which was super helpful. We dropped off our decorations the day before our wedding and they took care of everything the morning of. Arthur and the rest of the staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing and all our guests said the same. The venue is absolutely perfect if you want relaxed party vibes but still with a wedding feel. We had a live singer upstairs after dinner then opened up downstairs to dance all night! We honestly had the most amazing day and would recommend coin laundry 100%!! Thank you to all the team once again!

We've had our wedding reception at the Coin Laundry over the weekend (August 2025). The venue was exceptional in every way. From the first time we went to view the space, to the day after our wedding when we went back for a roast dinner - every detail was perfect. The bar team (special shout out to Max and Arthur) were extremely friendly, helpful and happy to help with anything on the day. Extremely capable and knew exactly how to best set the place up for a wedding party. Cara, Zac and the events team were super helpful in the lead up, preparing us a "planner" spreadsheet allowing us to personalise every aspect and make our selections. We had separate calls with Cara and Arthur before the big day to talk about the finer details, and it gave us full peace of mind that we were in good hands! The food was top quality and they made extra efforts for our guests with dietary requirements. Lovely selection of beers and really good cocktails. They helped our band / DJs set up the equipment and were happy to help with any requests throughout the evening. Extremely accommodating and nothing was too much of an ask. Coin Laundry and Exmouth Market really do make a beautful setting for a London wedding and we are soooooo glad that we decided to choose them for ours! The team at Coin Laundry created the most special and magical wedding day for us on the 19th of July 2025!
We only have the most positive thoughts on the venue, food, cocktails, staff and everything else. The set up of the tables, the card station and cake tables were also exactly how we envisaged if not better!
The food was very delicious, the staff were very attentive and friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere. Our guests enjoyed everything at the Coin Laundry so much, a couple of them went back for the Sunday Roast the next day! Cocktails were so good that it seems that it wasn't that difficult to hit the minimum spend at all! The food was exceptional, this was one of the key requirements for us as a couple when picking out venue. The guests couldn't believe that the vegetarian sausage rolls were not meat ones, so delicious.

One member of staff surprised us with a phrase congratulating us on the black board in my native language which was such a nice touch!

We came across this venue online and after a quick visit knew it was the place for us. Right from the beginning they were super easy to communicate with and are obviously well versed with handling and organising the smooth running of a wedding reception. Everything from menu selections to seating plans are all handled in a google doc, so really easy to update and play around with preordering to suit your budget and guest needs.

We decided to book the whole venue for our wedding reception from 6pm - close and we could not have been happier with our decision. They were really flexible with our timing needs, and even unforeseen last minute changes.

Upon arrival on the day everything was set up perfectly and the staff working were really chilled - just attentive enough but leaving us to do our own thing. Food was also fantastic and we had our cake delivered directly to the venue so that we didn't need to mess around with transporting it. After dinner we all moved down to the basement for an after party with a friend who was DJing. We were really lucky to have a fabulous sunny day, and it was lovely that all of our guests could have free run of the place and outside - it created a really lovely informal occasion. Exactly what we were hoping for. We would absolutely recommend, and quite frankly just sad that it is over!

From the very beginning all the staff we were felt with in booking our wedding were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Coin laundry were also super flexible and accommodating to all our needs. The wedding planner helped shape our day and made coordinating that much easier.

On the day of the wedding the staff were amazing. The food was fantastic along with the drinks. We couldn’t have picked a better venue. Would 100% recommend to any couple looking for an amazing venue!

I approached Coin Laundry with about 8 weeks notice to plan my wedding, we picked a Tuesday (because, why not!?) and they were responsive and quick to answer the thousands of questions I had, both big and small.

Myself and my husband went to the venue prior to booking as we wanted to see it in the flesh. We immediately felt at home and comfortable, both Arthur and Max were welcoming and showed us around and showed me photos of what it could and would look like. These guys have a genuine flair for setting up tables, they required no direction or micromanagement to achieve what I had in my mind. Once we sat down to eat there on our initial visit, we were sold. The food that day, and on our wedding day, was absolutely insane. I highly recommend the Burrata and the Pork Belly, 2 instant hits that featured on our wedding menu.

Planning with the events team was easy, they were responsive and flexible and guided me through what I needed and, crucially, what I didn't. They were refreshingly honest in a time where it always feels like weddings add cost for the sake of it. I worked with Cara to plan my numbers and my tables and she was so kind, approachable and knowledgeable. She made something that was initially quite stressful turn in to something exciting.

The pictures they have on this site are lovely, and shows the layout of the room. I have attached my pictures from the day, I was absolutely 10/10 obsessed with everything they did with the decor and I wanted others to see how beautiful it was too!

The day itself ran smoothly, with no hitches or issues (or at least none that were brought to my attention!) and everything flowed like a dream. The staff were friendly and knew how to make an absolutely cracking cocktail.

The process was easy to plan and execute a short notice wedding, everyone had a fab time and we are looking forward to our anniversary visit back for more pork belly and twice the amount of burrata!

We loved our wedding day at the Coin Laundry and would recommend it to anyone looking to get married in London. It's a fantastic spot and is a really cool setting which makes for great wedding photos! The upstairs room is so spacious and was great for the speeches and the downstairs offered a perfect place to dance. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and helpful and they helped us have the perfect day!! Would definitely recommend!
