Landmark Wedding Venues in South West London

Beautiful grounds. Staff was lovely to work with and ensured details sorted as we did most of the planning ourselves. The only mild inconvenience is the location of loos. There is a set on the top floor only accessible by stairs, and one handicapped accessible on the ground floor. Guests did not mind and the only drawback — everything else was wonderful as a dry hire venue.

We had an absolutely exceptional day at Grays Inn for our Christmas wedding – everything was perfect from start to finish. From the very beginning of the planning process, Livia was incredible: efficient, responsive, and always so thorough in answering questions. She worked closely with me to ensure that everything I envisioned was possible, and every change or additional request was handled seamlessly and without any issue.   On the day itself, the team were outstanding, particularly Livia, Vee, and Bobby. When I forgot vases and candles, they couldn’t have been more helpful, and they also took such wonderful care of my mum when she was setting up the day before. The team truly made us feel so special and supported throughout.  The hall looked absolutely stunning, and the layout and overall vision I had planned came to life exactly as I had hoped. The food was exceptional, and the feedback from our guests was incredible – we had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We are so pleased that we chose Gray’s Inn and genuinely wouldn’t change a single thing.

Our wedding at Ham Polo Club was incredible, made even better by the staff at Vanilla Bean the venue's caterers. Their communication, attention to detail and support where second to none. The venue were flexible in meeting our needs, we didn't hear the word 'no' once and the day ended up being perfect. The space, the food, the staff were all just brilliant. Throughout the day guests commented on how lovely the venue was and it was perfect for a wedding. Having worked with many wedding venues myself over the years I am able to confidently say these guys know what they're doing and I can't imagine having had our day anywhere else. I would not hesitate to recommend!

Coming from South London, we knew we wanted a London wedding, but finding a venue as unique and incredible as Battersea Arts Centre was a complete bonus. We hired the Council Chamber for our ceremony and the Grand Hall for our reception and had the Octagonal Hall for our drinks reception and speeches. The venue is truly like no other, and our guests, along with us, were completely blown away by its beauty. We added some extra decorations to the spaces but the venue itself is spectacular even without them. The lighting, including uplighters, dapple lighting, and festoon string lighting, was done incredibly well. The team at Battersea Arts Centre knows how to highlight the building's inherent charm, creating an atmosphere that is both magical and enchanting. A special mention goes to Mat and their team. Mat was our events manager and our primary contact throughout the process. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and their communication was perfect, making us feel incredibly reassured and listened to at every stage. Mat provided thorough walkthroughs, liaised seamlessly with all our suppliers, and ensured that everything on the day went off without a hitch. Their dedication and skill were evident in the flawless execution of our event. Mat was a pleasure to work with—a genuinely lovely person who made the entire experience enjoyable. Battersea Arts Centre exceeded all our expectations and provided a wedding experience we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a unique and breathtaking venue in south London, this is it.

Richmond Golf Club was the perfect place for our medium sized formal wedding. The Cube Room (max 70 people) is absolutely stunning and creates a fantastic atmosphere with a comparatively small number of people. The whole experience of planning our wedding with Tony, the bar manager (who has 38 years experience planning events at the golf club) was easy, he always responded very quickly and solved every problem. Food and wine delicious, very accommodating to all our wishes including having a live band in quite a small room! Plus some truly stunning photos. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We would highly recommend everything about our wedding at The Caledonian Club. Andrew is Scottish so that was our link (although a lovely venue in it's own right without that connection). The staff were fab in the run up to it organising the day, and great on the day itself. It is great that you have options of different rooms & terrace for however you want to structure your day, and also that there is accomodation there for friends to stay. The food is excellent too!
