Richmond Room - fabulous venue for a wedding celebration party

From the moment we visited the hotel and met with the events team, particularly Ella, they were so helpful and professional. The hotel has a number of lovely rooms for parties and they helped us chose the right size room, being the Richmond Room. We particularly liked this because of the fairy lights; dance floor; raised bar area and overall modern feel. We had a fork buffet arrangement and with the room hire it proved a reasonable budget for the 70 or so guests we had. It was a good venue for all ages - young and old.
The professionalism of the staff gave us reassurance that all our planning meetings would be followed through and indeed the day was very successful due to the efficient function sheet and the Ops and Reception team on the day.
We have had many compliments stating how lovely the venue, food and atmosphere was from our family and friends in the past week since the event.
We are so pleased we chose this venue and with such a professional team and we would highly recommend for a wedding celebration.

Queens Room Wedding & Lunch - 24 people

We got married here in July, and only have the absolute best things to say about the venue, and the staff. From start to finish, their professionalism, reactiveness and care they took over the whole day was phenomenal. They allowed us to personalise the room, managed & organised all the set ups and decor we gave them, and offered their own available decor as well before hand. The food was incredible, and just generally the staff were so slick, so kind and almost every guest commented on this. These guys are a well oiled machine and we could not recommend them enough. 1000 out of 10 :)

Small Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast

We had our 30 guest wedding ceremony nearby, followed by our reception in the Queens Room of 144 On the Hill. The room looked stunning even without any additional flowers/decorations from us, and thankfully had air conditioning which was a relief on a very warm summer wedding - greatly appreciated by our guests! We had drinks on the terrace beforehand in a designated area reserved for our guests, where we had the option to pre-order cocktails/drinks. The team on the day were both professional and friendly, and worked hard to ensure the day ran seamlessly with lots of preparation in the days/weeks before. Highly recommend the Queens Room and 144 On the Hill!

Exceptional service at a beautiful wedding venue

We had the most wonderful experience with Richmond Hill Hotel. From the very first planning meeting through to the wedding day itself, the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless and completely stress‑free. No detail was ever too small, and they handled every element with such care and professionalism.

On the day, the whole team were incredibly supportive and attentive, and we felt genuinely looked after throughout. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how impressed they were with the level of service.

We couldn’t recommend Richmond Hill Hotel more highly to any couple looking for a stunning venue and a team who truly take pride in making your day perfect.

Stunning!!!

I cannot recommend this venue enough. We had our small wedding breakfast in the Queen’s Room followed by a party in the Richmond Room. From the start Ella Bauchop, Events Coordinator, was amazing and answered all of our many questions quickly. The venue is stunning, with beautiful colour everywhere. Every single member of staff was wonderful and we had a day to remember. Thank you Richmond Hill xx

Our Wedding at Richmond Hill Hotel

We had our wedding at Richmond Hill Hotel and it was honestly the best day – the whole team were fantastic, and Pooja in particular was such a great support, incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the process and on the day itself, which made everything feel stress-free. The food was excellent and many of our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it, and the setting is beautiful with perfect spots for photos. Overall, though, the whole experience was fantastic, and we truly loved every moment – we couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend Richmond Hill Hotel to anyone planning their special day.

Wonderful!

The staff at the Richmond Hill Hotel could not have made our day any more perfect! The attentiveness, service and overall experience was amazing. The whole team were fantastic and we would recommend this venue for anyone looking to hold their celebrations in this wonderful hotel.

The perfect London wedding venue

We really have no words to describe how happy we were with our wedding at the Richmond Hill Hotel, and how grateful we are for everything they did for us. About six weeks before our wedding, our original venue essentially shut down, and we were left totally high and dry. We contacted the Richmond Hill Hotel, as we had been there on a previous wedding open day and loved it, and would have booked there had we not already booked our original venue, and they were able to make it work to accommodate us at this ridiculously short notice – we didn’t have to change a single part of our original timings! The service we received was absolutely impeccable from the very start. Valeria and Roisin went above and beyond in every possible way, plus they were an absolute joy to work with. The were incredibly organised, personable, and kind, and kept us calm throughout the run-up. We went for our food tasting a couple of weeks after booking and both the food and experience were brilliant, it made us so excited for the big day. Pooja and Andrei, the event managers on the day, were so professional and courteous, and kept us calm and focused throughout. Absolutely everything was taken care of on the day - we didn't have to think about a thing except enjoy ourselves. The day was everything we had hoped for, and we were so grateful to be made to feel so cared for. Thank you so much, we are customers for life now!

Best Hotel in London

We stayed for 2 nights and celebrated our wedding in the hotel. We absolutely loved the whole experience. We can't thank you enough! Such a good team! I would like to thank Zdenek for being extremely helpful and being these past months there for me. It means the world to meal all your love and effort you put into it to make our day so special. Beautiful and relaxed day

We are quite a chilled couple and wanted a venue with a wow factor and elegance but also reflected that we just wanted our friends and family with us to celebrate.
We loved the drinks on the terrace before dinner, and managed to get that money shot of the river so we were pretty happy. The food and wine were great and we loved that we could have an English sparkling wine for our toast, it was so good you couldn’t tell it wasn’t champagne!
There were a few details we could have sorted out before the day in hindsite, we thought the drinks were going to be served on the terrace but they had a table set up in the corner of the carpark which meant our guests had to keep crossing the road.
Also, We hadn’t sorted out any music other than a playlist and so they told us we couldn’t have it loud through their system. Luckily our photographer is also a musician and knew host stuff and managed to get the system working so we could have some dancing!
The team just kept things running which is great as we weren’t the most organized of couples though

The venue itself is truly unique!

We had our perfect day at St Marys Church and The Richmond Hill Hotel on November 3rd 2017. From the onset, Tori and her team could not have been more helpful. From helping us with picking the correct package to the staff helping us set up to the operations team on the day itself, we were welcomed with smiles and help at every turn. Everyone was kind, attentive and nothing was too much of a problem.
The venue itself is truly unique, the lighting and atmosphere we fell in love with the first time we visited. The food was exemplary and it was commented on by many as being the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We had various bits going on – sweetie table and prop table for photos as an example and again the room just enhanced these features of our special day.
I truly do not think we could have got anything better. We will be forever grateful to Tori and the team for making our special day one will never, ever forget.

Will Cherish for the rest of our lives!

Richmond Hill Hotel will forever be close to our hearts as the place where we spent the best day of our lives. Our event supervisor, Danni, was fantastic from day 1. Even though we saw the venue for the first time on a foggy January day, Danni was able to make the venue come alive for us and we knew straight away we wanted to get married there. Throughout the following 9 months, Danni met with us several times, always at a convenient time for us. She responded quickly to any queries and was approachable and professional at all times. The day itself went like a dream; the staff were polite and well organised and the venue was a delight to get married in. The Oak Room was a gorgeous ceremony room and the Ball Room was big, light and airy and well liked by all of our guests.

Aga, who managed the day itself, was wonderful. She organised the staff to a high standard and we felt completely free to enjoy the day and worry about nothing else apart from getting married! The day is one that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and we are truly happy we chose Richmond Hill Hotel as our venue.

A Big Thank You!!

Thank you so much to all members of staff, as it is down to you that we had such a brilliant day and evening.
We loved the ballroom as soon as we saw it, however, the real decision maker was meeting Danni. Her patience kindness and sheer competence made us feel confident that we could trust Richmond Hill Hotel to help us plan and set up such a very special day. On the day everyone was helpful, kind, patient and efficient and Marcus, along with many other members of staff, were quick to help and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was organised and the food was absolutely delicious (everyone has commented on how wonderful the food was). We are so happy to have chosen your hotel and we will be recommending it as a venue to anyone who will listen. Thanks again. We look forward to visiting the hotel again.
