Located opposite the Albert Gate to Battersea Park and a short stroll from the iconic Albert Bridge, The Prince Albert is a beautiful Victorian wedding venue situated in Battersea SW11. Easily accessible on foot or by taxi from Chelsea Old Town Hall or Wandsworth Town Hall, or further afield via Cadogan Pier and the Uber river taxi; with perfect photo opportunities for newlyweds and their guests on route! There really is no better place to raise a toast and celebrate with friends and family.

Facilities and Capacity

The Prince Albert is the perfect setting for engagement parties, pre-wedding dinners or drinks or of course the wedding reception itself. With versatile private and semi-private spaces it offers everything a couple could need. The elegant and newly refurbished private room, The Bridge Room on the 1st floor boasts huge windows and wonderful views over the park. Newly refurbished last summer this private room has the charm of a country house drawing room; sophisticated but homely. Bright and vibrant in the summer with aircon for those balmy summers (fingers crossed!) and cosy and warm in the winter with the bonus of a real open fireplace. The room also boasts its own bar and has cloakroom facilities on the same floor. The Bridge Room is perfect for up to 80-90 people for a standing drinks and canapes reception or 56 for a more formal sit down meal. Even if your party is much smaller the room will feel intimate.

If you wanted a less formal space, The Prince Albert also has a semi-private area on the ground floor and a lovely covered rear royal garden space. Both of these shared spaces can be booked for smaller receptions or for pre drinks or post drinks.

You are welcome to have live music in the room from small bands or singers to DJs. You can also play your own music via a playlist. Children and dogs are very welcome!

Cuisine

Our super-star chefs have created special occasion menus for canapes, sharing boards and 3-course set menus. They are happy to adapt these to your dietary requirements if needed. All menus are seasonal and ingredients are sourced from British suppliers.
