With its fabulous marble, stunning stained glass windows, and magnificent Victorian detailing, the space offers a refined yet intimate setting for your big day. Inside and out, the historic features create endless opportunities for beautiful wedding photography.

Please note that The Pump Room is not licensed to hold wedding ceremonies. However, we work closely with a number of lovely local licensed venues in Buxton where you can hold your ceremony before joining us for your reception celebration. We’re very happy to offer recommendations and help you plan a seamless transition from “I do” to your evening festivities.

Facilities & Capacity

The Pump Room can accommodate up to 75 guests in a theatre-style layout, making it ideal for intimate weddings and celebrations with your closest family and friends.

Services & Support

The team at Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust will be delighted to support you throughout your planning journey. While catering is not provided in-house, we work with a selection of trusted local caterers who can accommodate all dietary requirements and allergies. We’re happy to recommend exceptional suppliers — from caterers to celebrants and other local vendors — to help bring your vision to life.

On the day itself, our staff will be on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly, so you can relax and enjoy every moment.

Pricing

Venue hire ranges from approximately £450 to £1,300 (2026 prices), depending on your requirements. This includes use of the licensed bar, furniture, glassware, and staffing.
