The Stockyard is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue setting in the Melton Mowbray Market, in beautiful Leicestershire. This unique space hosts weekly markets, community activities, and events and boasts two settings for unforgettable wedding celebrations.

Our Weddings can take place in one of two places: The Banqueting Suite or The Tavern Café & Bar.

The Banqueting Suite

The Banqueting Suite offers a blank canvas to suit your decorating desires. A dance floor and stage will allow you to boogie the night away with whatever entertainment you have planned. Hosting from 100 to 300 people, depending on a layout that suits you. Plus, for those warmer days, we have air conditioning.

Your wedding will shine underneath the twinkling lights while you leave the catering services to us. We are happy to discuss catering options with you; our team can provide a quality service to suit whatever needs you have. Or, we are happy to work with external caterers, should you desire.

The Tavern Café & Bar.

Situated in the heart of The Stockyard, The Tavern offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. This is the space for those more intimate weddings for a comforting and cosy feel amongst your nearest and dearest. We can host around 60 people here comfortably. Again, our welcoming team can provide quality catering services tailored to your specific needs and budget, ensuring a memorable event for you and your guests.
