Whether it's a cosy celebration, a sun-drenched garden party, or a laid-back gathering with friends, our charming country pub — complete with a gorgeous terrace and lush green lawn — is the perfect setting. Set in a picture-perfect village, we're here to make your special moments unforgettable.
There's something timeless about a village wedding (maybe slightly biased as Jack & Millie had a Denham village wedding). Say "I do" at the local registry office and drive through the chocolate box village, or choose the local church, just a short stroll from the pub. Then it's back to the pub — pints in hand and smiles all around. Followed by a feast of seasonal food, flowing drinks, and laughter-filled speeches carries the party into the evening. As the sun sets, the dance floor comes alive.

Got Something In Mind? Let us know! We're happy to take special requests, talk through your ideas, and help build a menu that feels just right for your day. We can send over sample menus to get the inspiration flowing, then work with you to create something personal and delicious. Once the menu's
written, we'll invite you in for a tasting — the best bit, of course.
DRINKS
Kick things off with welcome drinks with background music — from crisp champagne (or an English Sparkling) to a glass or two of Pimms. Our fully stocked bar has everything from local ales to fine wines and spirits, and we're happy to help you choose the perfect wine pairings for your meal. Fancy a signature cocktail? We can shake that up, too.
Want to keep it relaxed? Guests can just pay as they go at the bar. Easy.
SHANDY THE LANDY
Yes, that's a Land Rover... and yes, it's serving beer. Our Land Rover bar comes fully kitted out with six beer pumps and 100 metres of chilled beer lines — so every pint pours fresh and perfectly cold. It's the ultimate outdoor setup for weddings, parties, or any celebration where good beer (and good vibes) are a must. The best part? You get to choose what's on tap. From local ales and craft lagers to cider or even prosecco, we'll stock it with your favourites.
Example of your day: Pints in the pub pre church, Ceremony, Drinks on the terrace/our clear marquee, Speeches pre dinner or during dinner, Dinner in the pub (max 65 guests), Cocktail hour in our clear marquee, then it's time to dance the night away.
More than 65 Family & Friends?
A marquee can be set up on the lawn for larger gatherings — you're welcome to arrange it yourself, or we'll be happy to handle everything for you (included within our event planning fee).
More Friends to Invite in the Evening?
More the merrier – for exclusive use weddings, we can have 120 guests in the evening.

SMALL GATHERINGS, BIG MOMENTS
Our marquee is perfect for intimate weddings of up to 36 guests seated, or we can move you outside onto the lawn if the weather is on your side. In the evening, invite more of your nearest and dearest (up to 60 standing).
DRINKS, BUFFET & DANCING
If you're after a wedding that's a little less fuss and a lot more fun – start with cocktails, follow with a relaxed buffet or shared feast, then dance the night away with your favourite people.
MONDAY AND TUESDAY WEDDINGS – WHOLE PUB HIRE
The whole pub can be yours — at a lower price. No hire charge. Enjoy exclusive use of our bar, dining space, terrace, and garden, perfect for weddings, parties, or private events with extra charm (and you have it all to yourself)

Spring Wedding
It was our first choice to hold our April wedding celebration and we were so pleased Millie and the team could provide us their venue for our special day.
We sat with Millie to plan the itinerary on a few occasions and she couldn't have been more helpful, personable and professional. Millie is very experienced and her ideas, themes and budgeting is second to none, her advice and guidance not only saved us money but completely put our minds at rest, we never once had any doubts that she was upselling or leading us into things we didn't want or need and we will be grateful for her honesty, humour and friendship for years to come.
We had a small gathering of twenty two for a meal, followed by further guests for an evening of live music in the marquee/garden area in the rear of the venue, everything was perfect.
The three course meal was heavenly, everyone commented on the presentation and most importantly the taste and nothing was left on the plates. The team were attentive with serving drinks throughout and clearing each course with perfect timing, it was seamless.
The evening celebrations were great, the live music and atmosphere within the garden and marquee was everything we hoped for and the bar never had a queue as the team were on hand for everyone's needs, again, seamless!!
Jo and I would like to say a huge thank you again for making our day even more special than we had hoped for and without any doubt highly recommend Millie, the front of house team and the amazing kitchen staff to anyone that is thinking of the Swan Inn for a wedding venue, to say it was fantastic is an understatement and we are so grateful.

Emma & Jon’s Christmas Wedding
Millie and the team really took the time to understand what we wanted and also gave us some great suggestions to enhance the day which included music and entertainment options.
When we were discussing food options we were provided with a number of options at different price points and we were able to select exactly what we wanted. Our guests really appreciated the options we were able to offer, considering everyone’s tastes.
We decided to make it an all day event with exclusive hire of the pub. Starting with a morning drinks reception and breakfast, we then headed into London for our ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall.
Once we returned to The Swan we were greeted with a champagne reception and live music from a talented musician - one of the many recommendations Millie gave us to make our day special.
We sat down for our wedding breakfast and all our guests commented on how good the food was and how lovely and attentive all the team were.
We then had a great party in the pub where tables were cleared to make room for our DJ / Saxophonist - another fantastic recommendation from Millie!
We cannot thank Millie and her dedicated team enough for making our day so perfect it was everything we wanted and more! We want to do the day all over again ❤️
We will be back next year to celebrate our 1st Anniversary!!

The Swan holds a very special place in our hearts — it’s where we celebrated our own wedding. We still remember walking down the road with lanterns in hand, stepping into the pub for cocktails and canapés, and then dancing the night away surrounded by our favourite people.
