We had a wonderful late March wedding at Cripps Barn. It's such a beautiful space with the overall combination of cotswold stone, fire, candles and foliage, even before our florist got to work. The whole day ran super smoothly, and we could relax in the knowledge that the Cripps team were taking care of everything behind the scenes, allowing us to focus completely on the joy of the day! A special 'shout out' to Zoe and Emily who were our managers for the day and evening. While the weather was typically mixed, the layout of the venue meant we could move in and out easily (including our less mobile guests) and there was always plenty of space for everyone. The separation of spaces was one of the reasons we chose the venue - we were never troubled by set up or turn around and never felt we were in the way. Our guests are still raving about the food - you can't beat good ingredients cooked from fresh on site. We paid a little extra for the outside fire package - this was definitely worth doing as gave another space and experience for some of our more dance-floor-shy guests! In the run-up to the big day, the team were super responsive to our questions (we were initially surprised not to have a lead or single point of contact, but soon came to understand that it really is a team effort, and for the most part they were good at keeping notes in a central place in order to keep track). While the Cripps venues aren't cheap options, we felt the team and the overall package was well worth the money.
