These 10 venues - consisting of rustic barns, grand country manors and even a hotel looking right out across the Devonshire coast - were the places you enquired about most in the 12 months leading up to 2021.
It seems barns are a still a firm favourite for weddings, with a whopping seven of the top 10 being barn wedding venues. What we can we say, we love them as much as you! 1. Bredenbury Court Barns - Hereford, Herefordshire
The most popular wedding venue on Hitched for 2021 was the stunning Bredenbury Court Barns! Nestled in the grounds of a charming country estate in the West Midlands among miles of rural countryside is this glass-walled wedding barn.
Their spectacular Atrium leads into the airy, 1920s Orangery - the perfect place to exchange your vows. Then it's time to wine, dine and dance in the rustic Oak Barn, an atmospheric oak-timbered barn with panoramic views over the gorgeous grounds and beyond to the Malverns. You can reportedly see for 12 miles!
This magical venue is made for year-round weddings, with the gardens and terraces and ideal spot for al fresco drinks in summer, and the cosy Atrium and Orangery welcoming you in on chillier days.
Perfect for intimate weddings of up to 40 to grand celebrations of 180, this friendly and enchanting barn venue is a wonderful spot for weddings. There's on-site accommodation so you can continue celebrations the next morning!
2. Pembroke Lodge - Richmond, South West London
Built at the highest point in Richmond Park, the beautiful Grade II-listed Pembroke Lodge boasts some of the most spectacular views in London. If you're looking for somewhere with an amazing history, this is it, and you can become part of that as the marry in the only wedding venue in a London Royal Park.
Aside from the 11 acres of landscaped grounds around Pembroke Lodge, you'll have your pick of striking locations for photos as you take a walk into the Park, which is home to around 650 deer.
Bridgerton fans will fall for the wisteria-clad front of the Lodge, but it's just as magical inside. The Belvedere is their biggest ceremony: a light and airy space that can fit up to 140 guests and is ready to be decorated just how you want. Brought to you by the award-winning teams behind Staffordshire venues Pendrell Hall and The Ashes Barns, this waterfront venue is formed of three magnificent oak-framed wedding barns.
You'll have exclusive use of all the barns and eight acres of gardens, giving you and your guests plenty of space to explore and celebrate.
Licensed for up to 170 guests, you'll begin your day in the ceremony barn, before moving outside or further inside for drinks and photos. The day then flows onto the stunning wedding breakfast barn and then the evening entertainment area. Every detail has been thought through.
There are so many things to love about The Mill Barns that we're not surprised it was so popular. For one, there's no corkage so you can supply all your own drinks for no extra charge. There's stylish guest bedrooms on-site and a special honeymoon night suite. You'll be carefully looked after by the experience wedding team ad their creative catering team have a cool 'Design Your Own' menu philosophy.
If that isn't enough, the beautiful Shropshire location will win you over and it's easily accessible from across the country. A real winner.
4. Dodford Manor - Northampton, Northamptonshire
You'll find Dodford Manor's lovingly restored collection of country house barns among 20 acres of rolling Northamptonshire countryside. If you're looking for the perfect mix of a historic setting with bags of ambience and contemporary style and facilities, this is a wonderful choice.
Your day will begin by getting ready in the Grain Store, their luxurious preparation room with large mirrors everywhere to get ready in as you sip Champagne. The historic Mortain Barn is the host for your civil ceremony: a flagstone floored barn with soaring rustic wooden beams and flooded with natural light. They can change up the configuration for the room easily so it's perfect for small weddings of 30 to large parties of up to 170.
The Oak Barn is the charming setting for your wedding breakfast. The amazing thing about this barn is that it can be effectively 'hidden' so there's a wow-factor reveal when guests are led into a previously unseen part of the venue. With a wall of glass overlooking the pretty views, it will leave jaws dropping.
Their trusted caterers Jenkinsons will whip up your menu of your dreams, from fine dining to rustic BBQs. The beauty of such a luxury barn venue is that it suits both - elegant and high-end formal weddings, or much more relaxed, informal affairs.

Both the Ladybird Room and the outdoor Pavilion are licensed for ceremonies and come with half the decorating work done for you. The reception suite is dressed with magical fairylights around the beams, while rustic foliage spirals up to the ceiling. It really does need to be seen in person.
The Oak Tree of Peover is a family-run venue, with a small, dedicated staff who'll go above and beyond to make yours a day to remember. They'll happily stoke up the fireplaces in winter and light up fire pits all year round to add to the barn's warm, cosy atmosphere.

7. Brinsop Court Manor House and Barn - Hereford, Herefordshire
Couples who'd like somewhere unique should look to Brinsop Court Manor House and Barn. This historic estate features a 12th century moated manor house (yes, there's a moat!), over 800 acres of ancient woodland, and a new, modern event barn.
Inside the manor are three ceremony room, bursting with character and history. The Banqueting Hall has a vaulted ceiling, oak floor and a large fireplace filled with candles to serve as the focal point for your ceremony. The Elizabethan Library is a bright and airy room with a rich history for a heartfelt vow exchange. The elegant Queen Anne Dining Room offers beautiful views across the Wordsworth lawn as your backdrop.

8. Hidden River Cabins - Carlisle, Cumbria
Surrounded by tranquil woodland and rivers in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside is Hidden River Cabins. They have a licence to host ceremonies in the Hidden River Barn, the 17th century country house and each of their luxury log cabins so there's a perfect space here for every size wedding - from 50 to 250.
The Hidden River Barn is set right on the River Lyne and their newest space. You'll say 'I do' on the barn's mezzanine floor in front of a wall of windows overlooking the wildlife-rich woodland. Enjoy drinks outside by the river before going inside to eat your wedding breakfast in their industrial-chic barn.
There's 11 beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, which are all dimmable so you can create the most romantic atmosphere. It's also perfect across all the seasons: there's air conditioning for warmer days, and underfloor heating and two open fireplaces for colder months. The in-house chefs will create the perfect meal and even whip up wood-fired pizzas for the evening reception.
On-site, you'll find five luxury log cabins (which are ideal for elopements or small weddings) and Hidden River House which also has accommodation for guests.
