“Social Pantry is the go-to London caterer for events, weddings & the workplace”.
We were founded by Alex Head in 2011 – Having grown up in Saudi, she started selling sandwiches on her bike to her dad’s office space. Since then Alex has grown the business through hard work, determination and of course a love of amazing food and events.
Fresh, seasonal and delicious is the mantra we live by. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful food for beautiful occasions and we know how important it is to ensure everything is just perfect on your wedding day.
From imaginative canapes, fine dining tasting menus, feasting spreads and informal barbeques to ‘pop up’ food stations we’re set up to provide the perfect food for your wedding. Our team of chefs love to get creative and will work with you and your dedicated event planner to provide your dream menu.
Whether it’s Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter we make sure that every aspect of the wedding catering we provide aligns with the time of year, or more broadly the themes and colour schemes that are woven throughout.
Our team of friendly event planners to help you with every aspect of your big day; from helping to plan your food and drink to finding your perfect florist, cocktail bar or venue. Whatever you need, we’ll be with you every step of the way and we can help with as much, or as little, as you’d like.
We strive to ensure that our whole operation is zero food waste; from using up ‘wonky’ veg to being uncompromising about ensuring the amount of food we make for each event is bang on. We use very little plastic and throw away packaging and where we must use packaging, it’s always recyclable. We work with suppliers who provide us with as much local and seasonal produce as possible, and who have the same ethos as us.
Our team of staff, suppliers, and charities naturally connect with the values of our business – passionate, entrepreneurial and responsible. We’re proud to say that 10% of our employees are ex-offenders, and we work closely with partners such as Key4life and Switchback to help people get away from a life of crime.
