Moonacre is a picturesque wedding venue located near Lytchett Matravers in Dorset, England. Nestled on five acres of private woodlands, this venue acts as a peaceful retreat away from the fast-paced city life. Facilities and Capacity

Surrounded by woodland and greenery, Moonacre acts as a naturally stunning backdrop for couples to enjoy. Our ceremony space is an an elevated woodland platform encased in nature. A purpose-built boho style wooden teepee can also be found in the woodland and is also available for ceremonies or drinks receptions making it an intimate option sheltered from the English weather.

Situated in the main field area is the ready-to-use varn style marquee. While it sports a traditional look on the outside, it features a rustic barn interior with draped chiffon roofing, fairy lights and floral rings, providing plenty of space for feasting, lounging and dancing.

Also available are six unique, quirky accommodation options, from a shepards hut, a floating treehouse and a double decker bus! We also provide a large area for camping, caravans an bell tents! Ample parking is available onsite for up to 300 cars, ensuring that all of your guests arrive at the venue safely.

Services Offered

Moonacre is available for exclusive hire from Friday to Sunday, giving couples the chance to enjoy a full weekend celebrations in your own personal style! An onsite wedding coordinator will be present, along with stewards to ensure everything goes smoothly on your big day. A fully-licenced onsite bar is present for you and your guests to enjoy drinks throughout your celebration. Whether you're relaxing around the campfire pit or taking photos by the coloured spotlights, Moonacre is sure to make for a memorable setting.
