Our Venue
With an incredible history holding wedding ceremonies, feel confident in our team to bring your dream wedding to life here at Norwood. Nestled just a short drive from Southwell Minster, your traditional wedding ceremony can begin in a charming local venue and continue back at our picturesque house.
If chosen, hold a romantic ceremony in the main house Drawing Room for an intimate exchanging of vows, seating up to 80 guests. For a more modern touch, The Gallery’s open and bright atmosphere is transformed to host larger ceremonies of up to 160. For outdoor ceremonies, Imagine up to 140 seated guests and 50 standing all surrounded by the perfect backdrop. Available from the beginning of May until the close of September, the outdoor bandstand offers views of the house and breath-taking scenery for an idyllic ceremony choice.
Continue the celebrations over your wedding breakfast, looking out over the estate, in the Dining Room with 60 of your most cherished. Or choose to indulge in a sit-down meal lit up by cascading chandeliers in The Gallery. Styled to seat up to 160 guests, it’s the ideal open space for enjoying speeches or your chosen entertainment.
Whether you’re choosing a package or bespoke menu the team can adapt to your personal dietary requirements. Our in-house chefs take enormous pride in the quality, taste and presentation of every dish they create. Ensuring your guests rave about the fantastic food long after the day is over.
Invite your evening guests to celebrate into the night with you, accommodating up to 250, the large dance floor, full bar and outside courtyard awaits. When you and your guests aren’t quite ready to stop the late night celebrations, return to the main house for full use of the Bramley Bar. Take in the joys of your day as the bar offers a night-cap to those staying over.

We got married at the beautiful Norwood park on 22/06/2024
From booking the venue 2 years ago we knew from the start it was the best decision we’d made. We always felt so welcome at Norwood. From the very start the staff have been incredible in helping us with any need we had, whether in person at the many wedding fayres, showcases and Christmas markets we attended or by quick and friendly responses to many emails, even getting excited with us in the weeks leading up to the big day. By the time of the wedding we felt surrounded by even more friends.
The food was delicious, and they catered to our guests dietary requirements and choices, with no issues at all. They could not do enough for us on the day and we felt so very spoilt by them all and we had some good laughs along the way.
The house is like something straight out of a fairytale and the bedrooms are beautiful and in keeping with the rest of the house. The grounds are stunning. The time and effort that has gone and continues to go into making Norwood as beautiful as it is is obvious.
Our guests are still raving about how great the staff were and how stunning the grounds are. The attention to detail is second to none and we cannot recommend Norwood park enough to anyone planning their wedding. Nothing was ever too much for team Norwood.
We’d love to relive our day over and over and cannot wait for the next excuse for us to go back.

December wedding
We got married at Norwood in December 2023, the day was perfect! The staff are amazing and made sure the day ran smoothly, the guests commented on how good the staff were. The food was delicious, from the canapés to the wedding breakfast and the evening food.
The venue itself is stunning with beautiful grounds. They also had a massive stunning Christmas tree up with it being December, which made the most loveliest photos and one of the reasons we wanted this venue for our December wedding.
We couldn't fault the day and we 100% recommend this venue.
Looking forward to going back to the winter ball next December.

Everything I dreamed of
What we didn’t know at the time we booked was just how amazing the people that work at Norwood are. From the moment we booked, until the morning after our big day, nobody could have done more for us. From first contact and through the 19 month wait until our wedding day, communication was great. I often emailed little questions I had and always got a response within a few hours. Nothing was ever too much trouble and every person we encountered was super helpful.
After our final meeting, we felt confident that everything would be smooth on the day. Rich made us feel like we were in very capable hands and that he would make sure everything was perfect. On the day itself this was the case and everything flowed seamlessly. A special thank you to Hazel too who we only met on the day but worked tirelessly from first thing in the morning checking all the rooms, until the evening guiding us to our cake cutting and first dance and was there in the morning helping us get all of our belongings together. All the staff members really are pro’s at what they do and I didn’t have to worry about anything. We had the best day of our lives and are so grateful for all of the hard work of everyone at Norwood that went into making our dream day a reality.
Fabulous wedding venue
Everyone was so helpful right from first enquiry and show around, and the Norwood Black Book of suppliers was also invaluable.
The day itself ran like clockwork and we didn’t have to worry about a thing - we were just left to enjoy every moment, which we most certainly did!
All our guests thought the venue, food and service were fantastic so a big thank you to everyone at Norwood Park!
