After visiting several venues, we settled on exclusive hire of The Renaissance at Kelham Hall for our daughters wedding. The setting is beautiful with historical touches, however, it was the warmth, positivity and professionalism of the staff that sealed the decision. Eve in the events/sales team from the get go was very welcoming and throughout the process very supportive, reassuring and detailed. As time unfolded, so we found the same to be true of other staff.

The wedding day was filled with with activity, from arrival of make up artists, brides and grooms guests in the morning, religious ceremony, lunch, arrival of groom by horseback, reception and dinner in the grand hall. The majority of rooms were occupied by families and guests and with the friendly and supportive assistance of the team at Kelham Hall, the day operated effectively and timely. There were 240 guests, and many commented on how sophisticated the experience was pointing out timeliness, setting and atmosphere in the grand hall, friendliness of waiting staff and the food served. Chef Dan is an absolute master in his craft and it proved itself in endless guests remarks on how varied and delicious the food was. The Kelham Hall operations team worked well with our suppliers, including the decor and photography teams, to ensure goals were met.

This was a wedding our daughter dreamt of, and it certainly transpired as such. A big big thank you and shout out to Eve, Chef Dan, Jo and the entire team at Kelham Hall for being so wonderful, thorough, approachable always, friendly and supportive.

Luci and the team were fantastic, Luci recently joined the Kelham team and she was so organised, professional, proactive and in general a lovely person to have helping coordinate your big day! Luci, as well as the whole Kelham team ensured the day ran perfectly and they couldn’t do enough for us, constantly ensuring there was nothing else we needed, keeping us updated with the next steps for the day and lending a hand to our elderly guests where needed.
The food was brilliant, with the chef accommodating the menu to suit our taste or the intolerances/allergies of the guests and even the cleaning staff made our day perfect by cleaning our welcome to the wedding mirror on the morning of the wedding - nothing more could have been done by the team!

Would thoroughly recommend Kelham for your wedding, the staff are amazing and the venue itself is beautiful, the grounds are always kept tidy, and we got a lot of compliments from guests on how stunning the venue was.

Getting married at this venue was an absolute dream for both me and my husband! My husband is from Cambridge so didn’t know local wedding venues but the minute we got back to the car after attending a wedding open day; he told me instantly this was the place he wanted us to get married and to get a date set for us 💕 The whole venue is absolutely stunning and everyone who attended our wedding was blown away but how beautiful it was. I’m a big fan of Married at First Sight UK and am always so impressed with the venues the couples get married at; Kelham Hall feels like one of those venues to me so made me feel incredible on my special day. The staff are so friendly and professional and nothing was ever too much for them to do for us so we can’t thank them enough. Our wedding co ordinator Olivia is such a wistful person and she made me feel so calm on the day with helping to ensure everything ran so smoothly for us so I can’t recommend her enough if your luck enough to get her as your co ordinator for your big day. Kelham Hall will always hold a special place on my heart and I’m so happy we found our dream venue ❤️ 🫶

My mom had a caravan and camping club and we can't hear it was so pretty I absolutely loved it the grounds are amazing we state that for two nights I think can we saw aeroplanes coming and going and it was so cool and we also went inside it's amazing I would recommend I love old building so this was right up my alley

So…my wedding, well it took me a while but I managed to find this place and this was THE place for my perfect wedding. Ive always dreamed of my wedding to be special and by sure it was. I spoke to someone called Kim for an initial viewing and it was love at first site the place is so big and very spacious. theres so much history there that it builds such a character to the place. To be completely honest the place is bare as in empty however, I believe it to be a positive as it means you can let your imagination take you wherever you want to go and be as creative with every detail for your dream wedding like mine. To decor layouts to a vast variety of any types of amenities you’d like to introduce. One key point is the whole way through I didn’t feel the stress of my wedding because Kim made sure that it was my last priority. Our events manager Kim made sure all our organisers felt comfortable and confident the whole way through. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for their dream wedding.
