Here, you can choose between a range of stunning locations for your civil ceremony, including the breathtaking Lakeside Pavillion. The height of romance, this elegant setting effortless accommodates up to 500 guests for the ceremony and the wedding breakfast. You can host your entire day from start to finish within this year-round marquee, taking photos on the private decking area before toasting with guests at the bar and dancing the night away on the dancefloor. Within the main manor, the 1776 Grand Ballroom is a most opulent option for a lavish ceremony. Beneath its hand-painted ceiling, you can say 'I do,' embraced by four iconic pillars and 90 inspired guests. The adjoining Champagne Lounge allows you to switch seamlessly to the celebrations, with its bright, airy interiors opening onto the landscaped lawns and fountain. A Perfect Day
Geetha and the whole team were excellent; professional and friendly, and very accommodating to our specific needs. Everything ran smoothly on the day, and the team were always on hand if anyone needed anything. Our wedding party had a considerable amount of dietary requirements, but this did not phase Colwick at all, and they produced a delicious wedding breakfast and evening buffet. Our guests were equally impressed with the venue and team, and a good time was had by all! Thank you to Colwick for helping make our wedding day perfect

They accommodated everything we asked, tailored the package we got to our needs and budget, even agreed to make custom cocktails for our Star Wars wedding!
The food was lovely as well, the grounds are stunningly beautiful and we were given plenty of time both the day before to set up and the day after to pack everything up without having to worry!

Absolute stunning venue
We had the stunning lord Byron suite for 2 nights, the grand ball room and champagne lounge for our ceremony and reception. The canapés and outdoor BBQ was unreal.
Everyone of our guests absolutely loved it.

Duty Manager Sam called me (bride) a day before the wedding to touch base, making sure all the preparations are in place. On the day of the wedding with my nerves going overdrive (was in bridedzilla mode for not being able to visit the venue before guests arrival to check on the deco myself but just trusting the vendor who was hired to decorate) I called her to check if things are done properly & she assured me and told me lovingly "...what are you doing calling this time, go get married!" She welcomed us at the hotel and handed over to the night Duty Manager Hari who was very exceptional with his waiting staff!!!! We can't thank them enough as they were so attentive not just to us but to all our guests, checking with us during the whole time to make sure the program was going as planned. The waiting staff were readily available whenever needed but also discreet at the same time (not right in your face).
The bar staff deserve a special mention, they served our guests until the last call at 22:55...yes we finished at midnight and we never felt being rushed when it was getting close to the end as guests were still rocking it at the dance floor until the DJ had to announce the last song.
Will highly recommend Colwick Hall for the beautiful place it is which is very well complimented by the excellent, attentive and professional staff!!

Wonderful wedding venue
All the staff were fabulous, and a special thank you has to go to Jane and Sam who were always on hand to help, wherever possible, with smiles on their faces.
Our reception was in the Grand Ballroom which gave us extensive use of the grounds; the perfect backdrop for photographs. The food was sublime, with great portion sizes and all dietary requirements were met (and not with the usual run of the mill options either)! The menu for under 10s was also well received. There were optional drinks packages and we decided on a trough of beers to go on every table. They went down a treat. The evening buffet was brilliant - nobody went home hungry!
Lastly, the room and breakfast, again excellent. The bathroom was huge and the shower amazing.
Thank you for making our day so special and providing us with so many happy memories.
Excellent venue
The room we stayed in was huge and very clean. The restaurant there is very good too, excellent food and service, and not overly priced. It's located in a country park, so surrounded by trees, good for walks. The tram stop isn't too far away, but there's lots of parking as well.
Everything was perfect!
I had a number of items to be set out, and instructions for the team to follow to get everything ready for the day, and it was all done to a T. The ballroom is beautiful, we stayed in the Byron suite which was HUGE and gorgeous and perfect for wedding morning preparations with plenty of room. The food was the best food I have personally ever had at a wedding, usually when catering for so many, the food can be rushed and a bit dry especially as we had chicken, but not here, all cooked and served to perfection. We had a lot to squeeze in to our wedding breakfast alloyed time, including 45 minutes of entertainment, but seemless, efficient service meant it all go off without a hitch. I can’t thank Colwick enough for making our wedding day so special!
