We had our wedding at the Kimpton Fitzroy and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The hotel is absolutely stunning but what truly made it unforgettable was the people. Every single member of staff was incredible, warm friendly professional and genuinely happy to help. From check-in to check-out they made us and our guests feel so welcome and looked after at every turn.
But we have to shout from the rooftops about Lucy White. She is officially the Weddings & Social events manager but what she did for us went so far above and beyond that calling her that doesn’t even begin to cover it. Lucy was the beating heart of our day and even before the wedding. She stepped into the role of wedding planner, problem solver, time keeper, therapist, calm voice, and absolute legend all in one. She didn’t just do her job, she owned it she took control of every detail and made sure the entire day ran flawlessly from start to finish. She did more than she ever needed too, from the moment we booked the Kimpton in April 2024 up until after the wedding!!
There is not a single moment in the build-up or on the day itself where she wasn’t 100 percent on it. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything went perfectly and when we say nothing was too much trouble we truly mean nothing. She anticipated problems before they happened solved things we didn’t even know needed solving and made the whole thing feel effortless.
Every time we turned around there she was checking in on us adjusting timelines reassuring guests, coordinating suppliers, and doing it all with a calm smile and total grace. She treated our wedding like it was her own and you could feel how much she cared. She gave us total confidence and peace of mind and allowed us to actually live in the moment knowing she had everything handled.
Emily Hay was also amazing helping Lucy throughout and always happy to jump in and support, the two of them were a total dream team.
We truly cannot say enough about Lucy. She is exceptional. If she’s looking after your wedding you are in the best hands imaginable. We’re beyond grateful and honestly a little in awe of how she pulled everything together so seamlessly. She is one in a million and such a huge part of what made our day so special.
We had so many compliments from guests about how smoothly the day ran and how beautiful everything looked, and that’s down to Lucy. She didn’t just manage the event, she owned it. Her energy, care and absolute dedication transformed the day into something truly unforgettable. We’ll never forget what she did for us. Every couple deserves a Lucy on their wedding day, we honestly wouldn’t have ever been able to pull this off without Lucy!!!!

Everything from the initial booking, menu tasting, planning meetings up until the big day was a joy and made the whole planning process really enjoyable.

It’s expensive but amazing value in my opinion for such a luxury central London venue, with incredible service to match.

Lucy White was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Her communication and the way she always made us feel at ease throughout the planning was amazing. And on the day, she was always there, helping, supporting, making sure everything went to plan. The Kimpton as a hotel, a venue, just wow. It was the most stunning venue, especially with the Christmas decorations, it really is a place that feels so comfortable and a perfect place to have a magical wedding. You really do feel at home there and we will be going back every year. We would highly recommend the Kimpton for anyone looking to get married. We had the best day and we can’t thank Lucy and the team enough for making it all happen for us.

The team at the Kimpton Fitzroy London were absolutely fantastic on our wedding day, and a crucial part of why it went so well! The wedding planning team are so warm and responsive, with no question or detail too small to chat over with them. We were always met with a smile and a drink, throughout planning. On the day of, our main contact, wedding coordinator Clodaugh O'Leary, made sure to check in regularly with us, to give us logistical updates, and to check if we needed anything. My now-husband and I stayed in one of their gorgeous suites the night before and the night of the wedding, and hosted our ceremony, drinks reception, and dinner reception with dancing on-site. The food was incredible, and all of our guests were impressed! Also, we had a large range of dishes from around the world to choose from, which was important to us! The chef was also flexible in adapting recipes if desired. Furthermore, the interiors of the hotel make for an incredible, impactful backdrop special enough for our big day! Our wedding was magical, and we are so happy to have held it at the Kimpton!

Each space—from the elegant ballroom to the lush Palm Court—brought its own unique atmosphere, allowing us to create a beautifully flowing day with distinct moods throughout.

I had the absolute honour of getting married at this wonderful hotel in December 2024. We had a very clear idea of how we wanted our wedding day to look, but a significant search of other London venues weren’t quite hitting the mark…and then we found The Kimpton Fitzroy. Wow! What a discovery! This place is extraordinarily beautiful. I am reluctant to sing its architectural/design praises too highly, in fear of doing an injustice to the wonderful staff who bring this gem to life and provide the beating heart that every great venue needs. The sheer beauty of the hotel and the flexibility of the space is what first grabbed my interest, but it was the subsequent meeting with Lucy White and her team that provided every assurance I needed that this was the perfect choice.
Every bit of our day was curated in a calm, efficient and considered manner. From arriving at the hotel the night before the wedding and being greeted by Lucy and an army of others to assist me with countless bags… to preparing my room with personal touches that gave a nod to little details and preferences I had subconsciously conveyed during our year-long planning conversations…it was a joyous weekend. I felt like the only and most special bride to walk their beautiful corridors. Delicious food that was exquisitely presented and efficiently served, plentiful drink, wonderful staff and a truly show-stopping building. What’s not to love! x

From the first meeting, we knew this was the place. The building is obviously stunning, but the real magic? The team. Planning an international wedding could’ve been a stress spiral, but they handled every detail with such warmth and precision that we basically floated through the entire experience. We had our wedding at The Kimpton Fitzroy on 28th Dec and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. We opted to have both the ceremony and wedding breakfast at the hotel and it was completely seamless. Lucy (Wedding & Events Manager) was incredibly helpful throughout the process - from being completely on it in terms of organisation, responsiveness to emails and even being there to open the door when I walked down the aisle - we felt really lucky to have that level of support and service.
The food and drinks were great and we received lots of compliments from our guests. Our drinks reception in Palm Court was also perfect - the room itself is so beautiful without the need for any extra decoration.
The bridal suite we stayed in was absolutely glorious and the added touches arranged by the hotel including bottle of champagne in the room and strawberries made it even more special .
Overall we could not recommend the venue more!

We got married at the Hotel a year ago and the packages include a free anniversary dinner. We went last night and were treated to an amazing meal. Whatever we wanted from the a la carte menu. Choice of wine. Glass of Prosecco.
I re-booked the honeymoon suite at a bargain price and there was a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on ice.
We have been so impressed with this venue from the start and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Our wedding 7/9/13 was fantastic. For the huge, grand space, central location and quality of the food/wine/service the Russell is excellent value. Very impressive venue, extremely convenient. Samantha was excellent. Stationary, chair covers and beautiful lit candelabras on every table even in the cheapest package. No need to splash out on flowers. Good value bar (for central London). Great photo opportunities in Hotel and adjacent square. Go for it!
