Perfect evening & well organised!

We had our U.K. wedding reception at the Village Hotel portsmouth after a ceremony in Slovenia. Everything went perfectly and the organisation from the team was spot on, they think of everything and contact your suppliers for you to ensure a smooth running of the event. Special mention to Laura who organised the event with us and to Oli who on the day worked so hard and such a long day but made sure everything was perfect for us, he even went to the shop to get a certain ingredient to make us a special drink we had mentioned we liked, with only a few hours notice. Thank you!!!

Unexpected gem

We booked the village hotel, Portsmouth, after our Vegas wedding got cancelled due to covid. Mainly due for the whole day being under one roof and catered for our DIY mini budget. The variety of packages offered a lot of flexibility in the amount of people we could bring. The room is generic and multipurpose but when decorated was spectacular. We used it for ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception and each time it felt like a different venue. The food, I quote many of our guests, was "the best wedding food they've ever had". And was an unexpected surprise due. Kelly, ollie and the team good do no more than they did. Last minute table and guest changes didn't even snooker them. A venue that should be considered by anyone. They have links to a great dj too

We could not have wished for or planned a better day! Our wedding at The Village in Portsmouth was everything we hoped it would be. From the moment Jamila took over the co ordinating of our day, everything ran smoothly.

It’s a challenge in any industry to capture people’s visions and ideas on how something should look and how an event can feel. The team managed to create the very vision I had been trying to pull together and give all our guests a wonderful time at our day. The food was amazing – we have received only praise for the meal and evening bufffet. The decoration was everything that I wanted – even our Gin Bar and Becks Bar looked stunning from just a few bits of pub decoration and bunting – the team did an amazing job!

Wedding of Vanessa & Robert

I booked my reception at the Village Hotel
Portsmouth as I was confident that my experience of being a regular customer of the hotel, attending tribute nights as well as having gym and business club membership meant that I knew I was in safe hands. The reception looked amazing, the food was delicious, the staff on the day were highly professional and my coordinator Izabela Sledz was fantastic in not only keeping in regular contact but also solving a last minute crisis. Highly recommend!

Tickets include 90 minutes of bottomless prosecco and all your brunch favourites including a Bagel bar, fresh salads, frittata, toasted breakfast muffins with a choice of eggs, bacon or salmon, Avocado on toast, Loaded pancakes, doughnuts. Tea cup desserts, smoothies and much more! Upgrade your prosecco to cocktails or gin for only £2 per drink during the bottomless 90 minutes. Plus, music from our resident DJ.
