Facilities and Capacity
DoubleTree By Hilton Chester can accommodate intimate occasions and large celebrations with all your friends and family. The Abbey Suite, Ballroom, and Yerburgh Suite are all licensed for civil ceremonies. The Yerburgh Suite is situated in the Manor House and features a beautiful bay window overlooking the landscaped gardens, duck pond, and fountain. It is a perfect setting for an intimate ceremony or a small wedding breakfast. The Abbey Suite is a converted stable barn featuring original beams, natural Cheshire brick, a bar, and a private garden. This versatile space is a great choice for your ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. The Ballroom is the venue’s largest function room. It can accommodate up to 350 people for an evening reception. The hotel grounds feature a beautiful Victorian walled garden and a lovely pagoda, which you are welcome to use as the setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Overnight accommodation is also available for you and your guests. The hotel has 171 guest rooms, 33 Deluxe Suites, 14 Junior Suites, and a Presidential Suite.

Package features include access to the grounds and gardens for your wedding photos, personalised printed menus, a three-course wedding breakfast, drinks, coffee and handmade chocolates, an evening buffet, and a dedicated events manager who will act as your toastmaster throughout the day. Flawless from start to finish!
From our very first visit, we knew this was the one, we looked at so many venues, but nothing else compared. Sarah was incredible throughout the planning process, patiently answering our endless emails and never once making us feel like a hassle.
On the day itself, Georgina and her team were flawless. Everything ran like clockwork and the venue looked perfect, which took so much pressure off after years of planning and dreaming about this day. A special thank you also to Max, who helped set up the night before.

Everything went exactly to plan. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. The food was outstanding—if anything, it was even better than at our tasting session. They had clearly listened to and acted on our feedback, which we really appreciated.
Our event manager, Sarah, was fantastic. She was incredibly thorough during our planning meetings, listened carefully to everything we wanted, and made sure every detail was covered. The Abbey Suite was set up beautifully and looked exactly how we had envisioned it.
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Hi, I’m Tarryn, one of our Meeting & Events Sales Agents and I’m really excited to be part of the wedding industry. I’m relatively new to the role, having come from a background of customer-facing roles where I’ve always loved meeting new people and helping them feel looked after. I really enjoy getting to know each couple and hearing all about their ideas and plans for their special day.
