Wedding 14/09/24

In the opinion of myself and Lauren, the whole day, venue, staff and everything inbetween was everything we could have ever dreamed of, the vendors we hired were all fantastic. Angela and Rebecca were the 2 names I remembered who stood out and made everything absolutely perfect. The only downside to the whole day was our guests all mentioned that they all paid different prices for virtually the same rooms with one guest paying nearly £250 for 1 room for 2 nights whereas another guest only paid roughly £150 for 1 room for 2 nights. Some guests fed back that rooms were not the best with the sofa beds being broken, there not being enough room for 3 people in a “family room”. None of this was a problem for Lauren and I but just minor faults fed back from guests.

Our wedding day was perfect!

Our wedding day was just amazing! We've had loads of guests saying its the best wedding they've ever been to, that kind of says it all.
We were over the moon with everything, Beth and Angela are absolute stars, the staff were amazing, the food was amazing, the whole day was perfect. We can't thank you enough, we want to do it all again!
From booking our wedding through to the big day itself was a stress free experience, even when we made a couple of alterations to proceedings along the way, Angela & Beth were more than accomodating.
Thank you again, you really helped making our special day such an epic event.
Highly recommend Holiday Inn Runcorn.

Our Perfect Wedding Day ❤️

From the day we booked our wedding with the Holiday Inn, Runcorn, everything was handled professionally and with world class customer service.

On the day, we felt everything ran so smoothly and we really appreciated the care and attention we received from every member of staff in the whole hotel.

The organisation of our day was impeccable.

Thank you so much to Angela and the whole team for making us feel so special and for taking care of the whole day. Excellent service, immaculate rooms, fabulous food, perfect function rooms - what a day to remember! x

My husband and I would just like to formally thank everyone at the Holiday Inn, Runcorn.

Karen, your service from us visiting for the first time, to our wedding was second to non. The planning meetings and making sure everyone knew what we wanted. The staff couldn't do enough for us, on our day. If I could give you all 10 we would!
A special mention also to Pete on the day and Sam in the function bar! ?????

Daughters wedding

My daughter got married at the holiday inn in July this year , I cannot praise Andrea and her staff enough. They all bent over backwards to make the day special the food was delicious , my daughter had made the table decorations herself and the staff had dressed the tables just how she wanted them . The staff were attentive friendly and cheerfull and shared our enjoyment of the day.

Magical day

Me and my husband can't thank the staff and especially Andrea enough for all they did for us. Making sure our day ran smoothly and was everything we wanted it to be. Our day was truly magical and couldn't of gone any better. I would highly recommend the holiday inn runcorn to anyone who is planning a wedding, They're amazing.

Massive Thankyou!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and your team for the fantastic job you did for our wedding reception, myself, Chris and all our guests had an amazing time. Big thanks to Jason and David, there was an issue with the sweet cart as the lady never arrived but they created a wonderful display with the addition sweets that we brought so no one knew.

Once again thanks from us both for making our day just perfect!!!

Wedding and Reception

Where to begin! When I first visited in the planning stage Sally could not have been more eelcoming, listening and making notes of all my daughters requests.to be candid we were not at all sure what to expect but the venue was first class with separate rooms for each part of the day. The grounds were attractive for photographs and apart from the ballroom both rooms had two sides of plate glass windows loong on to the gardens.the organisation was better than a number of 5* weddings we've attended. It was seamless and very friendly. The food was beautifully cooked and served by friendly and professional staff. We over ran by about an hour and a half but there was never any sense of rushing us out. The evening reception was a party which my daughter and new husband wNted and the food again was well cooked and presented and plentiful. The rooms were smallish but perfectly adequate and the whole hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was tasty , comprising of an English and continental selection. It was a day we didn't want to end and if you are considering the hotel for a marriage venue then oh ahead and you will not be disappointed! A huge thank you to Sally and all the staff at the hotel for making my daughter and son in laws wedding such a perfect day!

Wedding

Had our wedding here!! Great place everything was perfect, food staff rooms the lot!! Couldn't of helped us more highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay or have a party here, I have been to a few weddings here and they have all been perfect .

Our Wedding

My Wedding was held at the Holiday Inn Runcorn on 25/02/12- What a fantastic day this was. The hotel did a fabulous job helping organise my special day. Everything run smoothly on the day and was made stress free, this was down to the hard work that all the staff had put into. The food was lovely and I was very pleased that my guest all enjoyed our wedding breakfast and commented on how nice the food was. Myself, family and friends all had a brilliant day and this is all down to the staff at the hotel.

The cleanest of the hotel was to a very high standard and this reflected on my wedding day. The rooms were clean and available to all guest checking in on time, again I couldn't fault anything :).

Sally Jones the event specialist was always willing to help and always had a friendly approach, I was very confident in the work she does. All members of staff had a professional and friendly approach which is always a bonus. I paid for a service that I was provided and I am extremely happy. I have and would recommend any parties/wedding at the Holiday Inn-Runcorn. I couldn't of asked for anything more.

Perfect place for a Hotel Wedding July 2013

So my husband & I got married here on the 27th of July. The day was absolutely perfect. The staff here went above & beyond to make our day special.
Me and the bridesmaids stayed the night before and the staff even moved my things up to the executive suite were me & my husband were staying.
For the price we paid for the wedding at the this venue it truly was worth every penny!
Only one thing that I will say is the bar is pretty pricey, but with me being the bride I never bought one drink! Lucky me!
If you're thinking of having your wedding held here then you have made the right choice, and if you get Audrey & Sally looking after you & the wedding you're in great hands!

Fantastic Staff for a Wonderful Wedding

We got married at the hotel on July 22nd and a large number of the bridal party stayed over the night before, as well as the night of the wedding.
Firstly, the evening before the wedding was fantastic. The staff could not have been more accomodating and the food in the restaurant was lovely. The bedroom I was put in for the night before was a fntastic size and meant that myself and my 5 bridesmaids were able to get ready in the morning in comfort and not worry about bumping in to each other!
The wedding service itself was fantastic. From enquiry right the way through until the morning after the big day itself we were treated like the most important people in the world. Sally Jones, wedding co-ordinator was a star and made everything so simple and stress free, we never had to worry about a thing! Chris on the banquetting team and porters Darryl and Paul also deserve a special mention as they were absolutely wonderful on the big day itself and I cannot thank them enough for how much they helped us.
I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn for a wedding, it is fantastic value for money (we went for one of the Friday packages), a lovely looking location, with great sized function rooms, fabulous food and the staff are amazing! I cant wait to go back for our anniversaries!

Made Our Wedding Amazing

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at this hotel and stayed the night before and after the wedding.
The only gripes were that the room was rather small, a family executive room with a double bed and a convertible which left no room for a second bedside table, and the swimming pool was closed for cleaning on our arrival. Place was clean, food good and plentiful both at breakfast and the wedding breakfast. Lovely grounds for our wedding photos. Excellent value for money all round, Thanks to Sally for managing the wedding, Audrey the reception and Caroline who appeared at some unearthly hour in the morning when I was taken ill and sorted the room out.
