We got married at The Fleece Countryside Inn on 28th February 2026 and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our day. From our very first visit we completely fell in love with the venue. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous views that made the whole day feel really special. It instantly felt like the kind of warm, welcoming place we wanted to celebrate with our friends and family. Carrie-Ann, Becky and the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Throughout the entire planning process they were so kind, helpful, responsive and organised, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Having such a supportive team behind us made the whole experience so much more relaxed and enjoyable. The online planning portal they provided was fantastic. It kept everything in one place and made it really easy to keep track of all the details as the big day approached. On the day itself everything ran so smoothly and we were able to just relax and enjoy every moment. The food and drinks were incredible, and so many of our friends and family commented on how amazing the venue was. We feel so lucky to have celebrated our wedding at The Fleece Countryside Inn. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with incredible food, a genuinely caring and welcoming team, we couldn't recommend it more.

I have nothing but the ultimate praise for this Venue. From the second we walked into a wedding showcase we knew it was our dream venue. The food is absolutely fantastic and we got nothing but compliments. The venue it's self is beyond beautiful inside and out, you'll never get irs full beauty unless you visit. And all the extras in the package make it the ultimate value for money. The best thing though has to be the staff, from management we met along the way to the bar/waiting staff on the day all were the ultimate professionals and couldn't do enough for us. A special shout out to Lydia our coordinator who went above and beyond for all our needs and made our day run perfectly. There is a reason why this place has so many amazing reviews and has won so many awards. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone to book. They are truly remarkable. Love Nat and Beth

Excellent service from every member of staff from the moment we visited one of their wedding open days right through to the days after our wedding. Massive thanks to our wedding co-ordinator Ruby and Josh for looking after us on our wedding day. The food was amazing, everything from the wedding breakfast, the pie menu and the vast selection at breakfast in the morning was delicious. The kitchen, bar staff & waiting staff provided a first class service. We can’t thank everyone enough for all that they did, reception staff were extremely helpful.

Minarli and her staff gave us our dream wedding. Nothing was too much trouble! They were absolutely incredible every step of the way from the day we first met right through to the wedding. We put together a bespoke day which looked exactly how we wanted it to look and they were able to quote for this and deviate from their packages to accommodate us. When we changed our mind about various bits of the day, this was accommodated right away. They even accommodated some of my culture's traditions which involved bringing homemade pita and setting up various bits. Planning the wedding with Minarli felt like I was planning with a friend who was just as excited as I was! She was warm, accommodating and extremely flexible. On the day, everything was incredible. We paid a little extra to have the Malthouse dress the venue and they did an incredible job using the existing decorations and our own decorations giving us a warm, cozy and rustic Christmas venue. Minarli coordinated with all our external vendors too to ensure the cake was set up, and later the saxophonist and DJ also knew where to set up and when to play. The food was absolutely delicious too! Everything from the Cheese Ploughman's with the welcome drinks (we had mulled wine as a special request), to the delicious wedding breakfast and even the bacon sandwiches in the evening! People commented it's the best food they'd had at a wedding, and there were lots of comments about how the bacon sandwiches in particular were clearly made with proper butcher's bacon. No expense was spared on the food and drinks provided from the Malthouse and yet the price we paid was extremely reasonable and very competitive. We stayed at the Malthouse on the night of our wedding and the room was lovely and breakfast was absolutely delicious as well! On the next morning, everything was neatly packed for us to pick up from the function room. I can't recommend the Malthouse enough! It is the perfect wedding venue with the perfect staff.
