2. Tracy Park
Literature-loving couples will be intrigued by Tracy Park and its links to the famous 1877 novel Black Beauty. It’s no wonder that the local author, Anna Sewell, found inspiration at this stunning estate; wandering around the Jacobean manor house and amongst the manicured grounds and stables is likely to make anyone feel as though they’ve stepped into a storybook.
This elegant wedding venue is suitable for celebrations with less than 30 guests in attendance as well as ceremonies and wedding breakfasts with over 130, thanks to its range of licensed suites. There are 42 cottage-style bedrooms, allowing you and your guests to relax knowing that a comfy place to crash at the end of the night is only a short walk away. 3. Aztec Hotel and Spa
If old manor houses just aren’t your thing, take a look at the contemporary Aztec Hotel and Spa. Couples marrying here enjoy stylish suites and modern bedrooms as well as fabulous food and an extensive bar that offers couples everything from magnums of Champagne to a vodka luge!
After the celebrations, why not begin your honeymoon at the Aztec? 4. Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa

If you love the idea of a country wedding but don’t want to be too far from the convenience of the city, Thornbury Golf and Lodge is definitely worth considering. Located just a couple of miles from Bristol city centre, this characterful lodge offers wedding ceremonies and wedding breakfasts under the beams of its magnificent Courseview Suite.
The experienced team at Thornbury will be with you every step of the way, guiding you through the planning process. The use of a wedding coordinator will be included in your wedding package and prices start at £3295 for 50 guests.
8. Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel
Say ‘I do’ inside a traditional 19th century stone manor house, surrounded by 19 acres of manicured grounds at the Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel. You’ll be given a choice of elegant and contemporary suites to hold your ceremony and reception as well as access to the picturesque grounds for your wedding photographs and reception drinks.

12. Leigh Court

You can say ‘I do’ in the middle of the double staircases in the Grand Hall before heading into one of the many Georgian suites or a marquee in the stunning grounds to celebrate. Prices start at just £3600 plus VAT for their Twilight package for 60 guests.
13. The Radnor Rooms
The Radnor Rooms started life as a bustling pub with rooms back in the roaring 1920s before falling into disrepair more recently. Luckily, the grade II listed building has been lovingly restored and that ’20s party spirit has made its way back to the venue – making it a very popular choice with brides and grooms.
If you’d love to host a wedding that’s a little less traditional and a lot more unique, The Radnor Rooms and its exposed brick ceremony room and quirky walled terrace will be right up your street. Venue hire starts at just £750 in 2021 and for this you have access from 11am until 2am.

If you dream of taking a blank canvas and transforming it into something incredible, may we recommend Paintworks? This industrial-style venue is spacious, characterful and easy to put your own unique stamp on.
Paintworks is licensed for weddings and also features its own outdoor space, giving you the opportunity to get those all-important wedding snaps. Wedding ceremony and reception hire starts at £2400 plus VAT and includes access to the venue from 12pm.
15. The Mansion House
Set in charming Clifton, The Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Bristol and a hidden gem available for weddings and parties. The venue has a range of Victorian rooms to choose from as well as a stunning garden with gazebo for outdoor ceremonies.
The venue can hold up to 100 guests and you have the option to hire on an exclusive-use basis or simply hire the ground floor space. The hire rate starts at £1000 for low-season Saturdays and £600 for weekdays, making The Mansion House a total bargain.
16. Folly Farm
This environmentally sustainable wedding venue is set within a 250-acre nature reserve, just 10 miles outside of Bristol city centre.
