The Square Club is a unique, fully-licensed boutique wedding venue in the heart of historic Clifton, Bristol. Located in a beautiful Georgian townhouse, this venue boasts four sumptuously decorated spaces for you to host your special day. From ceremony through to reception, the venue staff can look after every aspect of your day. An in-house events manager will take the stress out of all the planning.
Facilities and Capacity
The Square Club's eclectically decorated Lounge is ideal for drinks and refreshments. The Square Kitchen makes for a stunning ceremony room with bare brick walls, elegant proportions, and luxurious touches. It will then be transformed into your wedding breakfast room. With delicious menus prepared in-house by award-winning chefs, there are options to suit every palette and budget. The Lower Deck is perfect for entertaining your evening guests in style, with its own dancefloor, sound system, and the option to bring in your own DJ or live band. The Terrace is a hidden gem of a walled garden. This is perfect for serving outdoor barbecues and hog roasts if you would like an alternative to the traditional sit-down dinner. The Secret Garden, open all year round, is a cosy space away from the party, which provides fresh air within a heated space. This venue is also adjoined to the luxurious Berkeley Square Hotel should you wish to have guests stay over.

Absolutely perfect day!
We didn't want anything formal and this venue was just us and everything we wanted.
Wedding coordinators were great throughout. Ellie was fantastic on the day!
We didn't have to worry about a thing as they ensured the day went without a hitch.
The bar staff were also fantastic and made amazing cocktails.

Made our special day even more special
The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was exactly as we envisioned it. From coordinating the vendors to ensuring every detail was taken care of, the wedding planner Niamh truly covered everything, including those little things we hadn't even thought of. She was amazing!
The venue itself is stunning, with elegant décor and a charming ambiance that perfectly complemented the romance of our day. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious food and impeccable service.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Square Club Bristol not only provided us with a beautiful setting for our wedding but also a safe and inclusive space where love truly knows no bounds. Thank you to the entire team for making our day so incredibly special.
Great original venue
The bar staff on the evening were so slick and professional making all sorts of drinks in a very well stocked bar.
Would highly recommend the Square Club as a wedding venue and attend one of their wedding opening days. I did enjoy some of the other events too prior to our wedding, worth it as you have to become a member to the club as part of the fee.

Wonderful day at The Square
We wanted a relaxed, fun, and personal day. The Square really delivered in providing a smooth day that flowed perfectly. The venue felt full but not crowded, all the different elements of the venue make it so special. The food was also exquisite—all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it— and we felt like we could enjoy the day and focus on being with our guests.
The Square is a perfect place for a mid-size or intimate wedding. Everyone we worked with was patient, lovely, and made our day. It was a pleasure working with everyone!
