We had the immense joy of celebrating our wedding at Folly Farm, and we truly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect venue or experience. From start to finish, everything was simply exceptional, beautiful, heartfelt, professional, and absolutely worth every penny.

The venue offered great value for money and worked perfectly within our budget, without ever compromising on quality. Folly Farm is affordable, especially considering the quality of service and the breathtaking setting.

Stunning Venue
The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful, romantic atmosphere. The on-site accommodation was fantastic, allowing us and our guests to relax and fully enjoy the celebrations. Booking the venue from Wednesday at 2 pm until Friday at 11 am gave us the chance to spend meaningful time with loved ones who had travelled from afar, something we truly appreciated.
Seamless Day-of Coordination
Even though there was a light drizzle on the morning of our wedding, the team adapted quickly and ensured everything was set up beautifully without delay after the light rain stopped. Their calm and efficient handling of the weather hiccup reassured us completely and kept the day flowing perfectly.

We had the most incredible November wedding at folly farm.
Not only does the venue speak for itself ( all we did outdoor decoration wise were some big churns by the pergola).

Matt was incredibly calm and organised and exactly who we wanted to have with us on this special day. Our cake must have got knocked but Matt discreetly took it to the caterers who went out of their way and fixed it during food service.

The full weekend package meant we were able to set up ourselves on the Friday and got the whole family involved which felt like such a special part of the weekend and an extra bonus.

The Food !!! Was incredible, canapés were delicious, and the sit down was fantastic. Such fun ideas, we had the cheesecake as desert and that felt so fun to dish up per table. ( we also had a guest with extreme celiac disease and all his plates came out separate and cling filmed so no cross contamination)

I was worried about the fact that we used the same room for ceremony, meal and dance floor. But the venue turned each room around extremely fast.

The studios being so close meant older guest were able to sneak back to rooms and have a rest, and those with kids could also sneak away for a little while

Not only that but I am excited to go back to folly farm for walks and be able to reminisce about the fantastic weekend we had.

We recently got married at Folly Farm Centre and it was everything we could have wanted and more! Matt and Jason ensured our day ran as smoothly as possible. The venue is stunning and that view! The food is incredible and all our guests raved about it. The packages available are really customiseable to be able to have the weekend that means your needs and shows your personality as a couple. Would recommend 100%!

I cannot recommend this venue enough. We have the best weekend of our lives. Not only is it a stunning location, but the staff are incredible throughout the entire process. On the weekend they were super flexible to whatever crazy ideas we had and it truly felt that they wanted us to have the best time. The food was absolutely excellent, with an enormous range to pick from. Also, brilliant value for money. So many of our guests were jealous that they hadn't found Folly Farm for their weddings. They are simply the best.

We can't recommend Folly Farm enough. It was the first and only venue we viewed, as soon as we went we knew that was the venue for us. The venue is a very reasonable price for what you get and they are fair and very transparent about the costs of things. Not pushy at all - they give you the options and leave you to decide what suits you and your budget. We wanted the wedding to not just be over half a day - with Folly Farm you have the site for 2 nights so can enjoy time with friends and family around the big day! The nature reserve is such a stunning backdrop, gorgeous trees and wildlife - makes for plenty of great photos.

From after we booked to the wedding day Matt and the team at Folly Farm were super responsive, answering all the questions we had. They gave us the freedom to choose what we wanted to do but when asked, would recommend and suggest ideas for us which worked out perfectly.

For the wedding Matt and the team were there to help - we did a handover of what was needed for the big day and it was all taken care of by the team which meant our bridal party could also relax. They were very relaxed and supportive and allowed our vision to come to life.

We truly had the best time and couldn't be more grateful to them for making it enjoyable and completely painless from start to finish.

We had the best day/weekend and would 100% recommend getting married at Folly Farm.

We loved having 50 guests sleep on site and had a great catered dinner on the Friday night to kick festivities off.

The day itself ran absolutely seamlessly and the venue staff, particularly Matt and Jason, really went above and beyond to ensure everything went to plan so we could relax and enjoy the day and being with everyone!

The venue is beautiful, the food is excellent, and any questions we had in the run up were always answered quickly by Matt and Claire.

We loved the outdoor ceremony overlooking Chew Valley lake, it was really beautiful and special. Drinks on the lawn to kick off the celebrations, a wonderful 3 course wedding breakfast, and then a great party!

Folly Farm was truly an amazing venue.

The venue itself is in a beautiful, private location, with stunning views everywhere you look. All the different ceremony locations are lovely, and the amount of space you have is great. A huge bonus is the fact you can stay at the venue - arriving the day before and leaving the day after - making the set-up and tear-down process SO much more relaxing. Also, the fact you get your own private space & kitchen (The Old Dairy) to chill in the night before is brilliant.

The food we had during the day was tasty and arrived in huge portions, and the catering staff and serving team were great. The bar staff throughout the evening were also brilliant fun.

The management team themselves are also top notch. From our very first email to them, Clare, Jason, and especially Matt, have been super communicative, calm, kind, and knowledgeable. They were able to answer every question, provide really valuable advice and ideas, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They and the rest of the Folly staff were on hand throughout the entire run-up as well as throughout the day itself, making the day completely stress-free and enabling us to fully enjoy our wedding.

We could not have had a more perfect or magical day, and Folly Farm Centre were a huge factor in the day's success.

Communication has been great throughout, we asked many questions along the way but never felt judged or an inconvenience. They went above and beyond to make all our guests feel welcome, and helped us with some very specific and unique hurdles along the way.

The venue itself is stunning, we had young families and older relatives attending and everyone felt safe and comfortable. One of our guests commented that it was the perfect venue to be at with their 2 year old, as they didn’t have to worry.

We arrived the afternoon before and had a huge, self catered, group bbq with most of our wedding guests attending. It was great to be able to use the kitchen and bbqs onsite, this was a fab way for our party to settle in.

On the day of the wedding, the team were brilliant. They took care of everything. We had a great day because we just didn’t have to worry about a thing. There were lovely little details like handing us a glass of fizz after the ceremony, before greeting our guests, and giving us some space to take everything in. They set up the tables exactly according to our plan, food, drinks, everything was on time, and when we were running a little late from our photos they made it work for us.

The food itself was incredible, generous portions of delicious, locally sourced, beautifully cooked food. Food is very important to us and we wanted to get this right. We went with the option of sharing platters, which was great and really fun, although perhaps we should have planned to have fewer table decorations so that we could fit all the food on the tables! Our main course was roast lamb or vegan wellington, then all the sides were vegan friendly and could be shared by everyone. If you like cheescake, then you have to get the sharing cheescake option, everyone loved this too. We didn’t manage to eat it all but took some leftovers away with us the next day.

There was a quick turnaround between the meal and our evening entertainment, it was all very smooth! Then we had music in the barn, firepits outside when it went dark, and though the speakers went off at 12pm, we stayed up chatting well into the night.

We also opted for the catered breakfast for the morning after, and again, having everyone together was lovely. As you may be able to tell, food is quite the centre of our social gatherings.

We were really so pleased with our choice of venue, and it was also a huge plus that the surroundings were naturally stunning, for our photos we went for a walk in the woods nearby, (I changed into sparkly trainers for this bit!) This was also a great way for us to take a little break from being surrounded by people, and try and take in the amazing day we were having.

So yes, we heartily recommend Folly Farm!

The whole thing was just perfect! The staff are amazing - so helpful and accommodating. They helped us create the celebration we wanted. Having guests able to stay and more in the evening gave us the perfect blend of an intimate celebration and big party. The grounds and views are stunning. The facilities are great! Perfect blend of DIY and catered for. Guests were thrilled by the choice of drinks at the bar. I'm still taking it all in... we had the most amazing wedding here and couldn't recommend any more.

Every single part of the process with Folly Farm was wonderful. They were always available to answer questions and Matt and Claire were so helpful during the planning stage. As soon as we set foot on the property for the wedding we were made to feel relaxed and at home. The rooms were gorgeous and there were so many that most of our guests could stay both nights. The day itself went without a hitch and was so well coordinated while still feeling relaxed and not like we were herded from place to place. All of our requests were attentively listened to and we felt completely happy with every aspect. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding food they had every had and we absolutely agreed - they were so flexible with the choices as well and we enjoyed every bite. Folly Farm made our day unforgettable and we just want to do it again!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Folly Farm! From the beautiful setting to the excellent food to the top-tier service from the staff - it was an incredible venue. The fact that the venue can hold 45+ guests on site was a huge plus and we really enjoyed having our guests on site with us for extra quality time. The planning coordination, prep meetings and site visits / tastings were all clear, enjoyable and well organized. I cannot recommend this venue enough!! We had a perfect wedding at Folly Farm.

The sun was shining, the sky was bright blue, and our guests were happy!

Being able to stay over a weekend with our family and friends might have been the key element behind the success of our wedding. Arriving on the Friday and getting 90% ready, made the last 10% on the Saturday a whole lot more relaxed and stress-free. Rather than worrying about travel, the guests had plenty of time to explore the surrounding reserve, taking in the views and experiencing nature.

We opted to self-cater for the morning breakfasts and dinner on the Friday. The kitchen in the Old Dairy served us well and everyone got stuck in, cooking and serving food, washing up etc.

We got married in the orchard. It's not the most commonly chosen location, but we're so glad we chose it. There are not many places where you can get married under an old apple tree! The orchard is nicely sheltered, with areas of dappled light and shade (sun cream is still recommended!). The hay bales (with covers on) were suitably comfortable, with chairs for the grandparents. (There were 2 people per bale, £5 each)

The food was delicious. Many of our guests commented on how it was the best wedding food they had ever had!

The staff at Folly Farm (Clare, Jason, and Matt in particular) were exceptional. They were always helpful and responsive to any questions we had prior to the day, and enabled the day itself to transition seamlessly.

All in all, we can't fault Folly Farm. If you want a rustic, low-key, sustainable, nature-filled venue - get married here!

We got married at Folly Farm in July 2025. We were looking for a venue with accommodation on site, a decent outdoor area and good views - Folly Farm ticked these boxes.
Where they stood out was the incredible service provided. The whole team were great to deal with, Matt and Jason both incredibly welcoming and supportive. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the venue offered great flexibility to meet our needs. Response time to all of our emails pre event was excellent, even late at night and on weekends which was a big help with our planning. The final note to add is about the food. The platter service meal we had was excellent, very tasty food serviced very quickly so our guests weren’t waiting around for food service. Many guests have since commented on how good the food was, both the wedding breakfast and the meal on the day before which the Folly Farm team provided. Wonderful experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone!

When we began our search for a wedding venue, Folly Farm met all our criteria. It features beautiful grounds (a 250-acre nature reserve no less!), high-quality on-site accommodation, delicious catering, and friendly, experienced staff. Plus, the wedding profits go to supporting the Avon wildlife trust, which is brilliant and entirely unique in the area. When we went to visit and Matt gave us a tour, we knew it was the venue for us. From there, we had constant support and communication via email and video call. Any queries we had were quickly resolved. The pre-wedding tasting was enjoyable and gave us a feel for the high quality of the wine and food. There are a plethora of food and drink options - we debated for ages on our menu but I'm sure whatever we'd chosen, the catering would've been excellent. I can't count the number of times we changed our seating plan and schedule, yet the staff were always accommodating and supportive. It was comforting to know the staff had seen it all, so we were in very good hands. Although we had guests arriving from several countries, everyone got to the venue without a hitch and rooms were quickly occupied. We did a self-catered barbecue the night before the wedding, which was great fun. Breakfasts in the Old Dairy were delicious, with loads of options and comfortable indoor/outdoor seating. The day of our wedding was wonderfully smooth - despite a few unforeseen delays (passing rainstorm, stuck zipper, etc), we stayed nearly dead on schedule. Matt and Clare were with us every step of the way, checking in with us and guiding guests to and fro. All the staff from the cleaners to the bartenders were so friendly and professional. We received more compliments than I can count from guests about our choice of venue! Highly recommended.

We loved having Folly Farm as our wedding venue in April 2025. The venue had everything we wanted and needed and we loved having our friends and family stay with us for the weekend to extend the celebrations. We also loved the food! With delicious, generous portions, we had lots of happy guests and the prices are extremely good value.
