How far in advance should I contact you?
Whenever! If you're having a wedding in the next couple of months and need a photographer and I'm free, we'll work it out!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No - I am all yours all day.
Are you able to travel?
I cover London & Home Counties for free, with an overall charge of £60 for outside of this area. If you have a wedding overseas, please get in touch as I love to travel and can work to sort something out.
What style of photos do you take?
Natural, fun and timeless. I like to capture unposed moments and emotions, that truly capture your unique day.
What kind of technology do you use?
Creative, fun and unstaged with the exception of group and couple photos where a little (fun!) direction is sometimes needed.
What kind of equipment do you use?
Canon cameras and lenses, and Elinchrom lighting.
What''s the delivery time for photographic report?
Maximum time for delivery of your images is 2 weeks; my premium packages take just 7 days - just in time to browse through some on your honeymoon! I also upload 20-30 photos the day after for you to view and share.
Do you send all the photos taken?
I take 1000s of photos at weddings, as do most photographers, but I'll only send across the best and ones I know you'll enjoy. This tends to be around 400-600, depending on the size of the wedding.
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
I work alone, however if your wedding has over 250 guests I'd recommend investing in a second photographer to make sure every special moment is captured.
In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?
I have a clause in my contract which explains that in the very, very rare circumstance I'm unable to attend I have a photographer available on the day to take my place. Touch wood; I've never missed a wedding yet!
Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?
A question I get asked a lot and sometimes tricky to explain; yes I own the copyright to the photos. This is standard for all wedding photographers but it doesn't mean you can't share you photos with your family, friends, online or print them for personal use. It just means you can't sell them!
