I was recommended this studio for my bridal photoshoot as I wanted to surprise hubby with some photos and I must say I was truly blown away by my experience. The studio has a lot of options to shoot with and the team was very friendly. I'm not a very confident person but I left from this shoot feeling very happy and empowered. I can't wait for hubby to see the pictures.

We couldn’t have asked for better photographers for our wedding than Carl and Lisa from 166 Photography. For any couple who’s camera-shy or simply wants their day captured without spending hours posing for formal photos, these two are absolutely incredible. Throughout the day, you wouldn’t even know they were there! Our guests weren’t hassled for photos, and we didn’t spend half our time being pulled aside for pictures. Instead, Carl and Lisa captured stunning shots that were natural, candid, and so full of life. Looking through our album, we see moments we didn’t even realise were happening, and they truly highlighted the core memories of the day. The photos are professional, beautifully edited, and you’d never guess the weather wasn’t on our side—it all looks perfect! Many of our guests commented on how great Carl and Lisa were and loved their laid-back approach, letting everyone enjoy our wedding, yet still accommodating a few formal shots for family without it feeling forced or rushed. If you’re looking for photographers who will document your day with an authentic, natural style, while still delivering breathtaking, professional-quality photos, Carl and Lisa are the dream team. We can’t recommend them enough!

My mum got married the other day and these guys were absolutely amazing, we have a laugh a chat and we made friends!! They are supper amazing and will take on your own ideas for a good photo! We had our 2 horses with us and they were super amazing with understanding them !! I highly recommend these guys and the previews look AMAZING!!!!

He took so many lovely pictures and really captured each part of the day amazingly. We did not want to spend the day posing and wanted natural pictures of us and guests and he really delivered that and more. We received a sneak peak of images on the night of the wedding which was so lovely to look through the morning after to curb the wedding blues! The full gallery was delivered to us within 3 weeks of our wedding whilst on honeymoon and we were blown away by them, we have so many favourites. Will's communication in the lead up to the wedding was spot on, he blended into the background on the day so well that we completely forgot he was there and many of the guests commented on how lovely he was. Highly recommend Will to anybody looking for beautiful photos without awkward posing! Thank you, Will!

Liva and her partner took amazing pictures of our wedding in Bridgford hall and in Elvaston castle park. We had a lot of pictures to choose from and we were happy with the portraits and family pictures they took. The album was sent quickly so we were very satisfied ! Liva and her husband are discreet but fun to be around so we enjoyed our photoshoot with them. Don't hesitate to book them for your wedding (or any other event), they're reliable 👍🏻

What can i say, Graeme is an absolute legend. If you want lasting memories to be made in picture form - Graeme is your person. Graeme will capture your day and turn it into a story through the eye of a lens. We were looking for a photographer that was local to us but i was struggling to find one that we liked, then i came across a picture which intrigued both me and my husband enough to want to know who the photographer was …. The picture in question is rather quirky and id noticed it was taken at my local family parish church so i was even more determined to find out who had taken it and that we NEEDED them as our photographer - local or not. We arranged a meeting with graeme at our house and within the first 10 minutes of chatting to us we knew he was the right fit for us both from an aesthetic and price point of view - graeme spent over an hour with us listening to our story and I’m an anxious person but i felt so comfortable and relaxed i knew we needed to book him. Communication was excellent during the build up the big day, a few weeks before i sent over the list of the ‘necessary’ pictures but the rest we were happy for graeme to take the lead on capturing what he felt was best. Our brief from the outset was candid / natural shots over posed and graeme went above and beyond to fit the brief. Even more so my intention was to not have many pictures taken at church , spoiler alert - graeme is that good at his craft he got a ‘money shot’ i never realised i wanted or needed - he was so discreet , we didn’t notice he was actually inside the church - I’m so glad he just went with it as the pictures he took during the service are beautiful. Also he captured moments which my husband and i forgot actually happened - tar LOL. Prior to the service; id given graeme a little hint of direction with what i was looking for in terms of pictures or moments to capture pre service and he did just that - my husband and i were legally married the year before and for the blessing service this year both of us were to walk down to the aisle together - so i wanted a ‘first look’ sort of vibe of my husbands reaction to the upgraded ‘frock’ before we went into church , oh wow, did graeme get those shots and more. The Reception: Again, graeme was given a brief of certain pictures to get then the rest we were happy for him to take the lead and have fun with the camera. Our plans had changed slightly in the few weeks before the big day but this didn’t sway graeme at all. Specifically, precious lasting memories have been captured for my extended family and i cannot thank graeme enough for that. Graeme was patient and went above and beyond with our guests throughout the entire day - so much so , whilst the evening guests were arriving pre first dance, graeme gave an impromptu photography lesson with some of the younger children at our wedding which then led to getting some of the best candid shots of the kids on the dance floor - thank-you for being so attentive with them. Thank-you for being an integral part of our special day. If you want a photographer who will work with you, who will help and guide you and not be intrusive or pushy - Up The Right Tree - Graeme is the photographer for you.

Lillie was the perfect addition to our wedding - we were looking for a relaxed, natural style and she delivered on all counts! From the second we met Lillie at a wedding fair, I was instantly comfortable around her and knew she was the right photographer to be in the fray with us on our wedding day. She was the perfect relaxed, calming energy I needed in the bridal suite, and she blended so naturally into the background to capture every detail. She was efficient with our group shots, meaning everyone could crack on with enjoying themselves. Our couple portraits felt so natural and comfortable, and Lillie worked so well with our videographers to make sure everyone could get the shots they needed! Our sneak peaks were ready so fast, and we cannot wait to see the whole gallery!

Victoria photographed my wedding, and I was so pleased with the shots we recieved. She made the whole process totally painless, and fit all the photos into the day seamlessly. Having her there was a joy as well, as she was so lovely to all my guests and family members. I would 100% recommend Victoria to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
