We hired Derek for our small wedding and he delivered on everything he promised. Candid pictures of the day and some great shots of our guests enjoying the day you wouldn't normally get. He was superb with us and made us feel at ease whilst having our couple photos and they have turned out great! We even got some bonus video footage which we didn't expect! We couldn't recommend Derek enough!

We truly couldn’t be happier that we chose Derek as our wedding photographer. We just received our photos back and looking through them genuinely felt like reliving the entire day all over again.

What amazed us most was how many of the tiny moments he managed to capture. There were little things we talked about after the wedding that we never could have dreamed of having photos of and somehow, Derek got them all.

The photos are beautiful and feel so natural and true to the day. Derek was also such a pleasure to have with us from start to finish. Most of the time you don’t even notice he’s there, but whenever you do, you’re genuinely happy to have him around! He made everything feel so easy and comfortable.

Del delivered everything we’d hoped for and more as our wedding photographer. Throughout the day he was an incredibly calming presence, especially during our group photos which I wanted over and done with in lightening speed and he made it happen seamlessly!! He captured the chaos and fun on our dancefloor so perfectly we’ll be laughing at the photos for years to come. But most importantly, he clearly understood how important all of our friends and family were to us and has given us such a beautiful gallery full of moments we will cherish and revisit forever. Del was superb for us. He was easy to contact before the wedding and the video call to get to know each other was very useful. On the day, we felt at ease with him and so did our guests. Nothing was too much trouble and he finds a way to blend in with the guests whilst still capturing all the special moments. The final photos are stunning and capture our day perfectly, with a mixture of formal, candid and fun photos. He really listens to what is most important to us and we will cherish re-living our day through the photos for many years to come!

I apologise for not writing a review sooner! Derek was absolutely amazing on our wedding day on the 8th of August! From our initial consultation all the way up to the day itself he was nothing short of professional! On the day he was patient and caring and was great at giving directions for the few staged shots we had. We were looking for someone who was more casual with the photos so real emotions/reaction were captured and he delivered that 100%. He was great fun to be around as well and blended into the day perfectly! Thank you for being a part of our day and I can’t recommend you enough.

Derek is so professional, responsive, flexible and easy to communicate with. We only wanted a few posed shots and the rest natural moments being captured and he absolutely delivered. My family don't like posing for photos but he captured so many genuine moments of us all just having fun.

He wasn't intrusive on the day, he just blended in. We were only away from our guests for a short time for couples photos which was great as we wanted to enjoy every minute with our guests. He was so relaxed and friendly people thought we must already know him. But he's just a genuinely lovely bloke and made us feel at ease. I would 100% recommend to anyone, especially if you want a mix of documentary style photos and posed shots as you can have any combination of the two you want.

Derek was amazing from start to finish. From our first Skype to our goodbye he made us feel super comfortable. He managed to capture the exact vibe of our special day and we couldn't be more in love with the pictures.
All of our friends and family commented on how comfortable they felt around Derek and how much they enjoyed having a chat with him. That considered there were so many points of the day where we almost forgot he was there.

We met Derek after he did an engagement shoot for us. We liked his natural style so much we booked him for our wedding and to photo us christening our daughter a year later. You don't even realize he's taking your photo, all images are taken with the real emotion of the day. We've had many comments from guests on how fantastic he is, Derek made our day so relaxed. Absolute fantastic photographer and man, could not ask for any more. Although I now need more excuses to need a photographer.

We got Derek at short notice for our wedding. We only booked for 2 hours. He came early and started taking photos straight away. Our ceremony was running late and I was so anxious and he made me feel so relaxed like I’ve known him for years. He captured every special moment and all the photos was amazing. Derek’s documentary style photography captured our day so perfectly. We were over the moon with our pictures. We had so many guests come up to us and say “ what a nice man your photographer is”. We were so impressed, he will also be my sisters wedding photographer in December.
