Superb experience, above and beyond what we expected!
Neil really went above and beyond what was required, both on the day of the wedding and afterwards, editing the photographs. They were incredible!
He arrived slightly earlier than we agreed, was very helpful throughout the day, and gave useful advice based on his wedding experience. Additionally, many of our guests pointed out how friendly and professional he came across during the ceremony and reception.
The thing we are grateful for the most is him having the photos ready so quickly. I was able to send a first batch (of around 50-60 photos) to my mum and dad the next day and the full batch a few days after. We're really impressed with the work. He knew my parents were abroad and couldn't make it, so gave us a few shots only hours after the ceremony so I could send them over! And quality certainly didn't suffer - they were as polished as photos from other photographers I have worked with sending them up to a month after the event.
All in all, a superb experience and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer in the area!

Beautiful shots
Neil was absolutely lovely and made me feel a lot less nervous about having my picture taken. The shots we’ve seen so far (wedding was yesterday as of writing this) were stunning

Exactly what we'd hoped for!
Neil is exactly what you'd hope your wedding photographer to be - patient, calm, kind and produces fantastic photos! Neil met up with us a few weeks before the wedding to discuss what we wanted (though we were a bit clueless!) and immediately put us at ease with his calm manner and good ideas. Not only did he take photos of everything we had asked him to on our wedding day (formal photos, our decorations, our guests arriving) but he continuously came up with great shots that we hadn't even considered. He also never got in the way of our guests - at one point he was stood under a coat rail so he was out the way but could keep on taking photographs. The weather on our wedding day was rainy but we are glad we listened to him and he took some amazing photos outside with our castle venue backdrop - though when the wedding dress started to get wet we hurried back inside and never felt under any pressure from Neil. He sent the photographs to us really quickly too, less than a week after the wedding which was really appreciated and exciting! The warmth of the colours he uses adds a lovely style to his photos and the candids feel very natural. Many thanks Neil!!!

Brilliant photographer and lovely person!
Firstly, Neil is one of the nicest people we've ever met! It was a pleasure to have him around us on such a significant day. He was calm, gentle and supportive. Most importantly of course, he is a fantastic photographer - he had a brilliant eye for capturing the most special moments of our wedding day, both obvious and subtle. Everyone was pleased with how they looked in the pictures he took, especially us as bride and groom! As a slightly older bride and someone who is not used to wearing so much makeup, I was worried I wouldn't look like myself but I feel the photos show me as youthful, elegant, joyful and genuine. Throughout the whole experience from inquiring about a price to receiving our photos, Neil was great to communicate with, very responsive and collaborative. The turnaround for getting our photos back was only a week as well, which was amazing! It was so exciting to go through them all and we are in love with them as a lasting memory of our magnificent day. If you are at all unsure who to book as a photographer - don't hesitate to choose Neil, we couldn't recommend him more highly.

Brilliant from start to end
Neil was absolutely brilliant from start to end. The booking process was easy and he was super responsive in the run up to the wedding and afterwards. He had good availability at relatively short notice. He was also great on the day: on time, polite, thorough, reassuring, calming and effective. He had plenty of ideas and suggestions to make the most of the light and the setting, and went above and beyond to get shots that we didn't even make it to :) We were amazed by how quick we were able to see the whole set of photographs. We got a preview the day after our wedding and the full set a couple of days after that. The photographs captured the day brilliantly and we will be forever grateful to Neil. We would no doubt highly recommend Neil.

Sensitive, helpful, wonderful photographer
Neil was the photographer for the wedding of my daughter Felicity, to her husband, Tom, in Northumberland, June 2021.
Neil was an observant, friendly and reassuring presence and we love the images he took. He captured the essence and joy of the day without intruding on the occasion. He was very observant in snapping the many small events (such as my daughter bidding farewell to the much loved cat!) as well as the bigger occasions during and after the ceremony. The photos we liked the most were the informal pictures that we barely realised had been taken such as the celebration of the bride and bridesmaids prior to leaving for the ceremony.
He also got some beautiful, relaxed images of the newlyweds walking through the adjacent park. We had such a happy, informal, joyful day and Neil captured this in the hundreds of wonderful photographs he produced. The only problem was narrowing them down for the albums!
I have no hesitation in recommending him as a wedding photographer.

Neil is a fantastic photographer who has captured us some absolutely amazing photographs.
Neil went above and beyond on our wedding day and we couldn’t thank him enough. After many postponements he moved dates around for us without any issue at all and we got our perfect day on the 15.9.21. Neil couldn’t of captured it any better, we now have far to many photos to chose from. We couldn’t recommend Neil enough! He is extremely professional and in all honesty you forget he’s there but the quality of his photos are out of this world. Neil is also extremely good value for money compared to most other photographers. We would definitely use Neil again and all of our guests have commented on how fantastic both Neil and his photos are.

Amazing photographer!
As a couple who don’t normally like being in front of the camera, Neil made us feel totally at ease on the day. Our wedding photos are perfect and he captured the day amazingly.
