From very start to finish Charlotte was absolutely phenomenal! The build up to the wedding was a bit of a nervous time but Charlotte gave us such reassurance and would answer any of our questions so quickly and professionally, considering she had lots of other work on! On our wedding day she went above and beyond her role by fluffing my dress and veil, helping Paul with his button hole, making sure our guests were organised and ensuring we kept to timings so we could make the most of our day! Charlottes hard work did not go unnoticed! We gave suggestions of types of photos we would like and Pinrest ideas and she more than delivered! The turn around of our first look photos and full album was so quick! We have been waking up every morning and just can't wait to look at the photos again and again! They look like something out of a fairy tale, especially the dappled sun ones! The close up of me and Paul with the sun coming down through the trees is just exceptional, something out of a magazine! We've never felt so beautiful!
We can't thank Charlotte enough for everything once again! The photos are absolutely breath taking, and she made our beautiful day so memorable and everlasting. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!

Natural Memories Captured
I looked at a few photographers who had shot weddings at venues near us and narrowed it down quite quickly. Charlotte was very local to us, had clearly a lot of experience and a fantastic, gorgeous looking website. She got back in touch with me almost straight away, had availability and was very excited by the idea of our shoot; natural autumn with barn owls and a small group of friends and family. We scheduled our shoot quickly and efficiently thanks to Charlotte's form which was sent online and very easily was able to send over money for deposit etc. She charged us a very reasonable price for our 2 hours and we had a fun and giggly time (us not being very natural in front of cameras) taking some nice photos for ourselves and family members. Charlotte really helped to prioritise the ideas of specific family groups I'd sent to her and she'd previously worked with the local company that lent us the owls. We had a really lovely time and our shoot with the barn owls was definitely the shining jewel in the wedding tiara; the most important part of our day! I received the photos via an online link a lot quicker than predicted and now have some super memories to look back on in the future! We are so grateful and hope to use the photographer in the future for other events

Charlotte went above and beyond at our wedding, she has the patient’s of a saint and handled our chaotic family’s perfectly. We had an amazing day with her and her pictures were beautiful! Working with Charlotte was so easy as she made us feel extremely comfortable and relaxed, we had a lot of fun posing and laughing which looked fabulous in the pictures. Charlotte’s photos had the whole family tearing up as she truly captured the emotions of day. If you are looking for a wedding photographer I would 1000% recommend Charlotte as she will not disappoint. Honestly I can’t praise her enough. Thank you Charlotte.

Magical wedding day
If you want magical, romantic and timeless memories of your wedding, Charlotte is the photographer you need. My wife and I were both nervous about being the centre of attention on our big day, especially knowing that there would be visual evidence of every awkward smile, snotty nose and ruined makeup. But there was none of this. Charlotte captured our wedding day exactly how we'd always dreamed and with zero disruption so my wife and I could just focus on each other. We couldn't even remember seeing her or Andy during the ceremony or the meal. But they were there, working hard to turn our wedding into a fairytail movie. Charlotte immortalised moments we didn't even notice ourselves on the day. And when it came to the individual photoshoot, her determination to get every shot was both impressive and entertaining - making it our favourite part of the whole day.
We want to thank Charlotte for not only her work during our wedding day but for transporting us back with each beautifully posed and edited photo.

Surprise Wedding!
Charlotte has produced a sensational gallery of photographs of our wedding. She could not have been more helpful and responsive to our wishes. She completely captured the joy of our special day better and both her formal and informal shots are beautiful. The image quality is superb and her unobtrusive manner enabled us to get the shots we wanted without if feeling intrusive. I can not thank her enough for creating an album of photos we will treasure for ever. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding.

Charlotte was the most perfect fit for us.
We found Charlotte on Hitched and really liked her portfolio. After an initial call with her if was obvious she was right for us, she was friendly and accommodated us at reduced hours to suit our budget.
As we grew closer to the wedding day we saved some pennies elsewhere and wanted to increase the hours we had Charlotte to be full day. Charlotte happily agreed and explained she only ever does one wedding a day regardless of how many hours she is hired for.
In the lead up to our wedding she was responsive and answered all our questions quickly. Our final call before the day was relaxed and friendly and exactly what we needed as the pre wedding nerves kicked in.
On the day Charlotte arrived on time and made sure to introduce herself to everyone needed. The day went perfectly and this couldn't have been done without her efforts to rally guests around, keep us relaxed during our poses photos of just us and just generally being excellent with all our guests. We made it clear we wanted lots of pictures of our guests just enjoying themselves including the children and she did not disappoint.
We were so happy with our sneak peak pictures, and upon arrival of the remaining pictures could not be happier with what Charlotte managed to capture on our day.

Fabulous - Charlotte was organized, flexible, patient, and unobtrusive.
Charlotte was recommended to us by a friend, I had actually met her at their wedding too and had recalled her being brilliant at getting everyone together which was a feat as it was a large wedding. She managed to capture all the guests in one shot without it looking very staged. Charlotte is very professional and obviously knows what she is doing, she knows what works and what doesn't along with being very easy to get on with very relaxed all the time. We really didn't need to give much instruction to her, she arrived and was shooting from the start and knew what was needed. We wanted a mix of both formal and informal shots which Charlotte did with ease. She was so patient with us and worked hard to complete all of our requests even the weird ones! We had an entertainer that Charlotte liaised with to make the most of our setting and games including photo games to capture all the guests. In between the more formal takes Charlotte was very unobtrusive and captured some brilliant "in the moment" shots. I would definitely recommend her to any one getting married. Throughout she was always been very responsive and clear with any communication.

Charlotte and her team did a terrific job!
Charlotte Atherton did an incredible job of capturing every key moment of our wedding this summer at Polhawn Fort. Charlotte and her team managed to document wedding preparations (for two brides) while also capturing special moments of the guests arriving which was wonderful. We really love the natural style of her photography and are very pleased with the results. Charlotte is friendly professional and approachable. Thank you!
