We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer than Lo. From the moment she arrived, she made everyone feel completely at ease, which really helped us relax and enjoy our day. She went above and beyond to help wherever she could and made sure she captured every photo we had asked for. What we love most is how many beautiful, natural moments she caught without us even realising. Looking through our photos has brought our whole day back to life, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with them. Lo fit in so well with our family and guests that it felt like she’d known us for years. She was friendly, professional, and an absolute pleasure to have with us on such a special day. We can no longer call our selves camera shy! From that very first Zoom call with Iain & Lisa we knew that we had found the perfect people to document our wedding day. Their easy going and friendly manner helped to put us at ease very quickly about the one thing we were most nervous about. We met Iain for a pre wedding shoot where we quickly felt like it was a friend taking our photo and he captured some amazing shots for us in Bamburgh. Where can we even start about the wedding day. Both photography and film was captured by BSP on the day and they immediately got to work putting us and our wedding party at ease. They were so friendly and relaxed and easily coaxed us out of our shells. As a couple we were looking for a more relaxed and candid style of wedding shots but with a few posed and family photos thrown in. When we both started to feel a little overwhelmed Iain was patient with us and gently reassured us, which resulted in getting some amazing couple shots. I do think our favourite's may be the candid photos captured of our guest going wild on the dancefloor however. We also hired a Photo pod from BSP for the evening, which Lisa ran absolutely fantastically. It was a bit hit with not just ourselves but all our guests and continues to be a talking point of the wedding. We cannot thank Black Sheep Productions enough for capturing our day so amazingly and we would highly recommend to any future bride and grooms.

Ryan shot our wedding on 18th May 2024. He was polite, professional and unobtrusive. He beautifully captured the ceremony as well as finding those un-posed little moments that might not be the photos you put in a frame, but will be the ones we come back to time and again to remember the story of our wedding day. There were a lot of photos, of excellent quality, released to us very promptly after the day. We are thrilled with the photos, thank you Ryan.

This photographer was everything I could have wished for. Amazing planning and detailed explanations of the day. Managed to capture such amazing moments with everyone and helped me and my now husband to pose for photos. Was so patient with all of the drunk guests and me. Absolutely terrific experience! We are a couple travelling from Shanghai to York for our pre-wedding photoshoot. We were a little worried at first, but the entire experience turned out to be incredible. Carmen communicated with us in detail about our ideas well in advance. On the shooting day, she was so warm and energetic, and great at capturing natural moments. The whole time was relaxed and enjoyable. She patiently guided us on poses and facial expressions, so we never felt nervous at all. The photos are full of wonderful atmosphere, capturing countless romantic and genuine moments and we will definitely use these photos at our wedding. Thoughtful and attentive from start to finish, this has been such a lovely experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Carmen to anyone planning a wedding photoshoot in the UK!

The idea of wedding photography was a bit stressful for both of us because we hate getting our photo taken. We booked David and from start to finish he was amazing. He instantly put us at ease on our first call and we began to get genuinely excited about meeting him and having our day captured by him. When he arrived, we both commented on how at ease he made us feel. He was such a calming and relaxing presence for us both on our day. We’ve received some of our sneak peeks and the photographs are amazing. We cannot wait to see the rest. Highly recommend!!

Tim is an absolute wonderful man and so easy to talk too! Tim started with the pictures at The Grand and then followed by our magical day at The Hospitum. The pictures are so beautiful and Tim has captured the day from start to finish, we love looking back at them and so do all the family! We had the best time with Tim and are so honoured he had agreed to take our wedding photos, nothing was too much trouble!
