We booked Weir photography via hitched just over a year before our wedding day and we could not have picked a better team to capture our day! Martin and Elaine’s dynamic was incredible, they bounce off each other so well which resulted in fantastic photos for us to relive our day. We opted for the hybrid package which included video of key moments and a slide show of our photos from the day. Our guests raved about how Martin and Elaine kept everything running smoothly, managing to meet every request . Their combination of humour and professionalism ensured every single photo had personality, love and the all encompassing joy felt on our special day. Thank you both for the incredible memories we are so grateful to the work you put in on and after our day to make our photos magical.

John and Sandra are phenomenal. Their skill and eye for great shots make them an incredible force in photography. There is no doubt they can capture how you feel about your wedding as they did for ours. They are talented, friendly, and a blast to be around. Not only did they give us a wonderful talk at their home about expectations and plans but they even gave us a few materials that we were in need of. As two Americans having a wedding in Scotland, it came as a great relief having two knowledgeable and helpful people on our side. They went above and beyond their duties, helping in small ways that felt special and unique. Their professionalism was warm and thorough. Their communication was impeccable. Quick to respond and always able to insure everyone was on the same page. Not only were they able to make the day of special with vibrant energy and kind words but they provided the most genuine smiles for us and our guests. Evident in every photo. Sarah brought our vision to life by really seeing us. Not just hearing what we said we wanted, but understanding the feeling behind it. She took our loose ideas about wanting something intimate, natural, and emotionally real, and somehow captured it all so beautifully. What we didn’t expect was how much she’d help shape the experience itself—not just photograph it. From helping us feel confident in the locations we chose, to gently guiding us through the day without it ever feeling staged or rushed, the way she was able to pivot when I took too long getting ready, she added so much more value than we could have imagined. It felt like she was part storyteller, part guide, and part calm, grounding presence. When we got our actual album back, we were speechless. Seeing our photos for the first time felt like reliving the day all over again, but even more emotional, because we got to see moments we didn’t even realize had happened. We laughed, we cried, and we kept saying, ‘This is so us.’ She captured the feeling, the connection, the setting (EVERYTHING) in such a thoughtful and beautiful way. It was overwhelming in the best possible sense, and we’ll treasure these images for the rest of our lives.

Allan, was absolutely amazing from the moment we met and booked our wedding photographer. From our pre wedding shoot to our wedding day we can’t thank him enough. Captured all the special moments so beautifully and made us feel so relaxed and just ourselves. Allan was amazing with our toddler and just totally went with her lead and the pictures captured of her and us together are so special. He’s goes above and beyond and is genuinely the best person we could have had to photograph our wedding, we are so grateful.

Ewa and her husband were really wonderful to work with, both on the day itself and throughout the pre-wedding communication! They captured our wedding beautifully, and their complementary pre-wedding shoot to get us accustomed to having our photos taken was absolutely worth it! They were amazing value for money, and we couldn’t recommend Vivvi Photography for your wedding enough!

We had a wonderful experience with Kris Soul Photography for our small wedding at Glencorse House near Edinburgh. The photographs are fantastic and captured the day beautifully. Kris was very friendly and unobtrusive, which was exactly what we wanted for our intimate wedding. He knows Glencorse House wedding venue really well and knew the best places for photographs without taking us away from enjoying our day. Great service, lovely natural shots and very affordable. In the leadup to our wedding, Mark was very organised and we felt that he fully understood our requests and would navigate the day with ease. On the day Mark found the perfect balance between silently capturing candid moments and being a friendly figure: sorting group photos, helping with some poses, and making sure so many special moments were captured. After our wedding, the turnaround for both our preview and full gallery was very quick, and the quality was exceptional. Mark was incredibly professional, provided a super-high-quality service, and was just lovely to interact with - we couldn't imagine recommending anyone more!
