John and Sandra are phenomenal. Their skill and eye for great shots make them an incredible force in photography. There is no doubt they can capture how you feel about your wedding as they did for ours. They are talented, friendly, and a blast to be around. Not only did they give us a wonderful talk at their home about expectations and plans but they even gave us a few materials that we were in need of. As two Americans having a wedding in Scotland, it came as a great relief having two knowledgeable and helpful people on our side. They went above and beyond their duties, helping in small ways that felt special and unique. Their professionalism was warm and thorough. Their communication was impeccable. Quick to respond and always able to insure everyone was on the same page. Not only were they able to make the day of special with vibrant energy and kind words but they provided the most genuine smiles for us and our guests. Evident in every photo. Steve and Theresa were amazing on our wedding day in October 2025. The lead up to the wedding was so smooth - they were on hand to answer any and every question I had and agreed to my wild ideas - no matter how outrageous. The patience and kindness they showed during the day when we were going to multiple venues, trying to organise so many people from our giant famiies for photos and me changing multiple times was second to none. My mum has a terminal brain illness and is in a wheelchair but they made sure she was included at every point. They truly went the extra mile and the photos that SMK has given to me of these moments with my mum are priceless. There was no stress on the day, they blended in with our guests and worked to our timeline (which was a bit of a mess) and just felt like one of the family - laughing and joking with us - making a cold day bearable. The only downside was having so many amazing photos - this made it impossible to pick only some for our albums. Our album is stunning, the parents albums were so special that we ordered extra for more of our family to keep. Highly recommend this wonderful couple for your special moments - weddings or other. Having couple goals like that on your day starts you off well.

Paul was phenomenal from start to finish. We had meetings with a few photographers and did some searching around and thought that Paul's price was right compared to other photographers. We first saw his photography on Instagram and loved his style. We met with Paul and he put us at ease from the first meeting, he was professional, put us first and wanted to make sure he was going to fit in with our day. Saying that, I don't think our initial call did Paul justice because every other interaction after was even better and we know we made the right choice. He was flexible with some slight alterations to the contract without any questions. After that Paul gave us good guidance and suggestions without being too overbearing and that also fed into the day, being commanding without militant - which was especially needed on the family and friend shots. On the big day, we could not fault Paul, he surreptitiously arrived and scoped out of the best spots for photos and came to introduce himself in person when he had the chance. The rest of day was much of the same, getting some cracking shots without getting in the way and lead us away from time to time to take some couple shots. He was gracious enough to allow some of our friends fly a drone and take some videos of us while we were getting our couple shots. He was also very kind to stay a little longer to get some final shots with friends despite being over time and I'm sure he was exhausted by that point. Paul got us the sneak peeks quicker than we expected and then the edited photos within the timeframe he said he would. We love the photos on a computer screen but after printing them we now truly understand his colour grading style, they look even better on print. Paul also did some photoshopping of photos to remove some blemishes from the dress after the fact. All in all, Paul did such a good job and exceeded our already high expectations. We can't thank and recommend him enough.

Sarah brought our vision to life by really seeing us. Not just hearing what we said we wanted, but understanding the feeling behind it. She took our loose ideas about wanting something intimate, natural, and emotionally real, and somehow captured it all so beautifully. What we didn’t expect was how much she’d help shape the experience itself—not just photograph it. From helping us feel confident in the locations we chose, to gently guiding us through the day without it ever feeling staged or rushed, the way she was able to pivot when I took too long getting ready, she added so much more value than we could have imagined. It felt like she was part storyteller, part guide, and part calm, grounding presence. When we got our actual album back, we were speechless. Seeing our photos for the first time felt like reliving the day all over again, but even more emotional, because we got to see moments we didn’t even realize had happened. We laughed, we cried, and we kept saying, ‘This is so us.’ She captured the feeling, the connection, the setting (EVERYTHING) in such a thoughtful and beautiful way. It was overwhelming in the best possible sense, and we’ll treasure these images for the rest of our lives.

The level of service from Allan at Biggar Picture Photography was second to none. We had a pre-wedding photo shoot, which we found incredibly worthwhile. I’m not someone who usually enjoys having my photo taken, but I was genuinely shocked by how much I loved the photos — all thanks to Allan, who made us feel completely at ease and relaxed throughout. This was no different on the wedding day itself. Allan worked seamlessly in the background at times, capturing so many natural moments, and was brilliant at organising our group and family photos. When our little girl started to get a bit restless, Allan was fantastic with her — patient, kind, and able to get some lovely shots despite the chaos! Our guests also commented on how much they appreciated being able to get their own family photos taken in the evening. We’ve just chosen our selection for the photo album and can’t wait to see the finished result. Overall, Allan is a truly fantastic photographer — professional, friendly, and incredibly talented. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

Jan was brilliant, he was so kind and him & Joanna made the whole process very easy. He made sure we got all the pictures we wanted plus a few that we hadn't even thought of but I can't wait to see! He really added to making our day more special. I highly recommend! Thank you!

After getting in touch with Ewa and Sly we were told what service to expect and had to fill in a quick form with details and times of our wedding. We kept in touch through email. The couple arrived on time and were accommodating to our needs as things unfolded on the day. They took the care to get different kinds of shots and some really nice ones involving the scenery. Our photographer from Kris Soul Photography made the whole experience relaxed, enjoyable, and truly special. Kris was extremely patient, friendly, and professional throughout the day. He helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and guided us to some fantastic locations around Edinburgh for our wedding photos. The session felt natural and fun, and we never felt rushed. Having Mark as a photographer for your wedding is a breath of fresh air. He has such an incredible personality. And he has such attentive communication that we always felt like we were on the same page. We were so impressed with his ability to keep things upbeat and light while managing to get everyone set up for such striking photos. With so much going on during the wedding day Mark does a great job at blending in and capturing great candid photos as well. Mark somehow has so much energy that it is contagious throughout the entire event. The photos that he took of all of us with our wedding parties while getting ready added so much fun to the process. Any time he set us up for photos it was difficult not to be smiling and laughing together. For the brief moments needed to take serious shots between the laughter, Mark’s timing was spot on to get those as well. He made us so comfortable while posing for our bride and groom photos that everything he was capturing was so genuine. We owe him a big thank you for getting us to smile and laugh while posing. He helped with all the small minutiae as well, including helping the bride maneuver her giant dress train and even helped tie a tie when emotions were too high during the father-daughter first look and the bride presented her dad with a custom tie. Additionally, Mark was extremely patient throughout the whole event. He dealt with us being off schedule and with corralling our families & friends around the castle (which is no small feat when a decent portion of the group didn’t even speak the same language). We cannot say enough great things about the finalized photos that he sent us. He did such a great job bringing everything to life in the pictures. We are just in awe at the amount of talent that Mark has and can’t be happier with everything he did. If you are planning a wedding, and lucky enough to come across Mark’s photography, he should be your first choice.
