Jamie was an absolute dream to work with from the very beginning. We even changed our wedding date just to book him—and it was completely worth it! His ‘Best Day Ever Package’ was perfect, with clear pricing that made budgeting easy. He responded quickly to all my questions, helped my husband feel at ease, and captured stunning engagement and wedding photos. On the day, Jamie arrived early, was incredibly helpful (even pulling scissors from his belt when a bridesmaid needed them!), and constantly checked in to make sure we were comfortable and ready for photos. Guests were amazed by his energy and dedication—especially his dancefloor coverage! We received over 50 preview photos just days after the wedding, far more than expected. Jamie truly went above and beyond, and I couldn’t recommend him more.

If we had to say just one thing about Jamie, it was that he went above and beyond - he really was a grafter! It was such a long day, but his energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail never faded. He worked tirelessly to capture every special moment - from all the little interactions to the big emotional highlights - and the results are truly stunning. Jamie also took the most gorgeous family photos with our little son, catching his cheeky expressions that we’ll treasure forever.

From the pre wedding shoot, through the wedding day and since he has been amazing. He guided us through our day making sure we got all the pictures we wanted and more. We were honestly speechless when we received our sneak peak only 24 hours after the wedding day and saw just how perfect they were. He captured every moment in such a unique and personal way. Wow. Where do we start? Jamie… you have blown us away. The whole experience has just been incredible. Not only are the finished shots breathtaking, but your humble, thorough and mindful attitude throughout this process has made it fully enjoyable. An incredible photographer and also a wonderful person. You really cared about capturing the best possible memories from our day, even if that did mean losing your drone in the bloody lake! Jamie was absolutely brilliant throughout. His attention to detail is spot on. He took some fantastic photos during our wedding pre shoot, with two crazy springer spaniels exploring the woods and lots of outfit changes. He accommodated our wants and wishes throughout and made us feel at ease. He spent his time getting to know us which was nice and reassuring. During the wedding meeting, in the pub with a pint, Jamie listened to all our crazy tik tok inspirations and was realistic with lighting and other factors that could’ve affected the quality of the photos.

On the wedding day, it was a bit all over the place with timings which was mainly as a result of the horrendous, non-stop rain that we had. He even offered to take all the boys down to the church which he didn’t have to. We really wanted to do some sneaky shots which we were all looking forward to but he ensured we got ALL of our other wishes and wants! He was great. He regularly checked in with us throughout the day and on a few instances had to think quickly on his feet and be flexible and adaptable. He captured some shots that we will remember and treasure for a long, long time.
We had such a fun, chilled day and this was because of Jamie’s calm attitude, his participation within our antics and his determined personality! Thankyou so much! We want to get married again with your picture taking but just with better weather.

We hired Jamie for our wedding on the 26/10/2024 at a very affordable price. Throughout the whole process Jamie was very attentive to our wants and his planning was meticulous. As well as an initial meeting we also had an afternoon at the venue where we discussed how he was going to achieve the photos that we wanted from the occasion. On the actual day he was fantastic and his communication was spot on. He was never intrusive but still managed to get an array of beautiful shots as well as the formal posed shots we asked for. We could not have asked for a better experience and we would reccommend Jamie for any big day. The end results were absolutely magnificent but we knew they were going to be anyway from the vast array of his work already online to see. Jamie is your guy when it comes to getting the memories preserved on any big occasion.

We first met Jamie at Chester Racecourse, we walked past his stand and immediately loved his photographs! Me and dan approached him and Jamie greeted us so warmly and we knew instantly, this is our photographer. Jamie’s style is so naturally beautiful that we knew it would go with our day perfectly.
We had a pre wedding shoot before our big day, and honestly it was such a lovely part of our package. We got to work with Jamie and got to know how our day will go. Every email and meeting meant we knew what to expect and it made our whole process quite relaxing.
Me and dan had such a blast, we were laughing constantly, and sometimes we didn’t even know photographs were being taken. We felt so relaxed, that Jamie captured our natural emotions perfectly. Every time we look at the photos we feel exactly how we felt in that moment.
Everyone loves our photographs and they’re already printed and put around our home! We smile at them all the time.

Jamie was brilliant from the first contact to us receiving our final gallery! He made us feel so comfortable throughout, and it was like having a friend there!

If you’re thinking about booking any other than Jamie Ellis Photography , then stop right there! Jamie is a bona fide 5 star professional. From an initial zoom conversation, through face to face meeting, until the final presentation of the pictures, he was brilliant.
On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to do his preparations and some reconnaissance . Jamie stayed much later than we’d expected too. He was very professional but thoroughly friendly throughout the day. We barely noticed he was there at times, as he took his shots candidly, to capture the most natural of moments. When we had the prearranged shots, he was serenely calm with everyone too.
We can’t recommend him highly enough!

If we could give six stars we would! Jamie Ellis is not only an incredibly talented photographer, he is also a lovely guy whose attention to detail is second to none. We got married very quickly (16 weeks from start to finish) due to the deterioration of my mother's dementia and from the start Jamie made us feel comfortable (we are not lovers of having our picture taken), he was sensitive to our situation and his pictures have captured moments we will cherish for a life time. Above all of this, the way Jamie chatted to my mum, and helped her when she became distressed was truly beautiful to see and he went above and beyond to get the best possible pictures. Jamie was there from 9.30am to around 10.30pm and he didn't stop. When we were all preoccupied enjoying the most special day of our lives, Jamie was off looking around the grounds for the perfect photo opportunities, places with the best lighting and specific areas of the grounds which could produce some astonishingly beautiful pictures. We would recommend Jamie without a second thought and we hope to see his name nominated for many photography awards in the future. We are so grateful for everything Jamie Ellis! Thank you!
