What does the wedding package include?
Packages include a pre-wedding chat, 6/8/12 hours of coverage, videographer/content creator/2nd photographer options, and edited images in a private online gallery to share and print
How far in advance should I contact you?
I am currently taking bookings up to & including 2028. Booking a photographer is on par with booking a wedding venue due to availability, so I would always recommend booking both as soon as possible
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes, somerset, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Cornwall, Wiltshire, South Wales, New Forest/Hampshire, Surrey, London
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel is included throughout the South West of England/within 2 hours from home. Overnight stay and weddings further-a-field will be at the couples expense
What style of photos do you take?
Other (My style of shooting is natural, candid & documentary. I love to be as unobtrusive as possible throughout the day, but at the same time I understand how important it is to get those family photos)
What kind of technology do you use?

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
Apart from knowing my cameras inside out, and sticking to my shooting style, the only thing I would say I do differently is that I love to match my editing colours to those of the bouquet

Incredible!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than James. Five stars doesn’t do him justice! From the moment he arrived on the day, he went above and beyond! Not just as our photographer, but as a true part of the wedding. He gave Leacarla the pep talk she needed before the ceremony, took charge with giving direction for the group photos (no easy task!), and brought such good vibes and energy from start to finish.
So many of our guests commented on how lovely he was and how well he fit in, it really felt like he was one of the family. And then the photos… wow. Every single shot in our full gallery is magic, with the fastest turn around too! He captured every emotion, every laugh, every tear, and every special moment perfectly.

Totally recommend!
From the moment we met James on our first call, he was so friendly and calm that it felt like we’d known him for ages. On the day itself, he instantly put us at ease and blended in so naturally with everyone on the day - in fact, many of our guests thought we’d asked a friend rather than hired a professional!
James didn’t just take photos, he really captured the feel of our wedding. Every photo reflects the emotions and all the little moments that made the day so special to us. Looking back through the photos brings everything back.

Incredible photographer!
We had SUCH a great experience with James as our photographer! From the very beginning, our he felt less like a vendor and more like a trusted friend. His communication leading up to the wedding was incredible - thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect.
On the day, he brought a calm but fun energy that put us totally at ease. And the photos are absolutely gorgeous. Every moment and emotion has been captured beautifully.

The best photographer
When planning a wedding it can be very overwhelming. There are many decisions to make/plan.
When I was looking at photographers there are so many different styles, and many of them just wanted to sell me a product.
Then one day scrolling through Facebook I came across James and I didnt look back. James from day one made me and lee feel like we have known him a life time. James was always there for any type of advice when planning our wedding.
Once the big day arrive James made me and lee feel relaxed when I was feeling nervous.
He captured photos that I didn’t even think was possible.
James also has this incredible ability to be at your wedding but remain completely invisible while capturing some of the best photos you’ll ever see!
Regarding James we’ll leave you with this..
If you want photos get anyone to do it..but if you want memories to last a lifetime get James

Incredible Photographer!
We really couldn't have chosen a better photographer than James to capture every moment of our big day!
From start to finish James was very professional and helpful, always keeping in touch in the month leading up to our big day.
To our big day we could not fault James once, he was outstanding, made ourselves and all the guest feel comfortable and at ease. Captured every single photo and moment we ask for and of course 100x more!!!
On our big day at one point James thought his day had finished and come over to us and said bye, but little did he know the dancefloor was going to get packed again and out come the cameras again which i thought was amazing he seen the moment and couldn't miss it, and we thank him a lot for that as he didn't need to but he did!!
Less than 24 hours later I had an email of around 12 photos of our day which was lovely and made us so excited to see all the rest of the album, which we now have and wow what an album, not a moment missed throughout the whole day, even moments we missed James didn't!!
Thank you again, and to anyone looking for a wedding photographer for you big day James is your photographer 100% you will not be disappointed.

We would chose James over and over again!
We had the absolute pleasure of having James as our wedding photographer, and I honestly couldn’t recommend him more. Amazing photographer
James was a fantastic photographer at our wedding at Rockbeare Manor, Exeter, in June. He was great - managed to be in so many places at once without being obtrusive and the photos are incredible. We also had an engagement shoot with him last year and both times he put us both totally at ease and the pictures were amazing. Thank you again James!

Amazing wedding photography!
James photographed our June 2025 wedding at the Swan Hotel in Wells and we would definitely recommend him!
We first contacted James after seeing recommendations on a Wells Facebook group and had a look through his work on Instagram. The quality and style of his images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a photographer with a relaxed style that still looks amazing.
James’s vibe aligned exactly with what we were seeking. After meeting over video call, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality.
We had a pre wedding photoshoot in April which we would also highly recommend doing. It was useful to practice posing and get comfortable in front of the camera. We don’t take that many photos of ourselves so this was really helpful and we now have some great photos of us and our dog!
Our wedding day ran smoothly and we received many compliments about how calm and friendly James was. We had a few group shots which James organised well but we mostly wanted candid photos which is more James’ style anyway. All the important moments were captured perfectly!
The photos look amazing and multiple people have commented on how great they look and how good the website is with the photos in sections for different parts of the day. We have lots of photos but not 1000s so it’s not an overwhelming amount. We’re so happy with all of them!

Stunning, from start to finish!
One of the best wedding decisions we made was to hire James as our photographer; he was incredible! From the months leading up to the big day and on the day itself, James always made himself available to us for anything we needed. He made us feel confident and comfortable on the day, and more like a friend than a stranger!! We’ve just had our photos back and they are stunning! James knew exactly what we wanted to capture, candid, natural photos of our friends and family enjoying the day and we couldn’t be more pleased.
100% would recommend James and we’re sad that our journey with him is over. But we’ll be following him on social media for sure.

Fantastic, friendly and fun-filled!
James was super friendly and took plenty of time to get to know us both and really understand what we wanted capturing. He embraced (and actually encouraged) the chaos of our day and came up with loads of ideas that fit our 'fun and unique' brief. It was a pleasure to have James with us - in all honesty it felt like one of our friends was the photographer as he made us both feel so at ease. James' suggestion of collaborating with a second photographer was a stroke of genius, given how many people we had, a great idea which really helped ensure that we got as much of the day captured as possible. All in all would thoroughly recommend to anyone who is looking for candid and natural memories of their special day. Thank you so much James, we are absolutely made up with the snaps!
