We had a great experience with Martin for our wedding in September - we actually had two weddings (the legal wedding and a reception / party a few days later) and Martin was our photographer for both. He was vey flexible with availability across both days, and agreed to amend the bookings a few times to make sure we were able to capture all the key moments without blowing our budget! He was really communicative and made a big effort to make us feel comfortable on the day, even asking for a list of family member names so he could address each person individually, which was lovely. Martin can be described in one word: professional. Thanks to his own, unique style, he captured all the most important moments during our ceremony in the church and at the wedding reception. As a photographer, Martin is practically unnoticeable in action, allowing him to capture extraordinary moments without intimidating the wedding guests. This is a remarkable feature worth emphasizing. In terms of budget, Martin is worth the agreed price. In terms of cooperation, he is very friendly and flexible, what allowed him to meet our expectations. The wedding photo shoot had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. In general, cooperation with Martin is clear and structured. His drone shots and wedding clip are very cool and full of joy. We saw an example album of Martin's work and loved it. We had a great initial contact call, and loved Martin's energy and calm, reassuring approach. Martin had worked in our venue before and was able to offer loads of recommendations on what works well in terms of locations for photos, the flow for the day, and how to get great photos without it interfering with our enjoyment of the day.

On the day Martin brought the perfect energy, hyping us up to get us laughing and smiling naturally, while also being discreet when appropriate. His posed photos and natural candid ones are all great and captured the day perfectly. We love the style of Martin's art - bold and colourful - which is how we remember the day.

We were unsure about whether to go for a second shooter, and Martin said that in our case he would actually recommend saving the money and putting it towards an album or large prints. It was really nice hearing honest advice.

Martin worked really well with outer venue and suppliers and was super responsive throughout.
His aftercare following up after our wedding with rushes, the final album, etc has been excellent.

I can not recommend Martin highly enough. He was fun to be round all day and made everyone feel relaxed and at ease which was very evident in the photos which were just amazing. He joined in when appropriate but was invisible during the ceremony just doing his thing. So many guests have also commented on how good he was as well. The shots gave a real feel of the emotions, atmosphere and joy of the day - just what we were looking for our intimate, relaxed evening wedding at the Roman Baths.

I'm usually a very detailed person and thought it might be hard to not script a list of photos– we were looking for an informal ‘not posed’ approach - we’d no need to worry we put our trust in Martin who found the perfect combinations. Martin listened to our ideas for the few specific shots we did have in mind and adapted brilliantly on the day in the torrential weather creating some truly once in a life time pictures.

Martin guided and steered professionally throughout, so every part of the ceremony felt completely natural - you’d hardly have known Martin was there. We and our small group of guests appreciated Martin’s encouraging, polite, professional approach which helped us all enjoy each moment. Martin also videoed the ceremony – this was definitely a good choice and complimented the photographs perfectly.

We had Martin as our wedding photographer when we got married at Cripp’s barn and we highly recommend him.

We are so happy that we hired Martin as our wedding photographer. He was amazing from the start. He was very informative in the meeting beforehand. On the day he felt like family and blended right into our wedding. He laughed and smiled with our family and friends. Having Martin as our photographer is one of our best decisions especially since Martin is very talented, professional and passionate with his work. We loved receiving our sneak peak photos within a few days, it was so exciting and the photos were incredible. We have now received all our photos and we love them and we can’t stop looking at them.

Having Peruvian family, it was such a lovely surprise that Martin during a photo shouted a Peruvian phrase. He also spoke some Spanish to our relatives which was such a nice touch.

Martin was very approachable and friendly from the onset. On the day Martin was present but not intrusive, he knew what he was doing and got on with it in the background organising photos with us around our schedule but it didn’t feel like we were being too far away from our wedding day. We also like that Martin enjoyed himself, he just blended in and I remember Martin smiling with our guests capturing the dancing, and happy to be with us. When Martin had to go, my family wanted him put down his camera and just stay to party!

We were looking for a photographer who would make the most of the beautiful gardens our venue had to offer. Looking through Martin's portfolio, we could see that his style would capture this perfectly. He doesn't mute the colours and crush the shadows, nor does he blow out the highlights like so many photographers do. This was a summer wedding and we wanted colour.
Martin's communication was excellent throughout. He listened to what we wanted and gave good advice based on his wealth of experience.
Martin managed the guests well to get the shots we wanted and worked really well with our videographer.
Our "first look" photos arrived only a couple of days after the wedding, whilst we were waiting to board our honeymoon flight, and we were blown away by them. We have since ordered an album plus two small versions for parents.
Martin was a joy to have at the wedding, the guests were so complimentary about him. I would recommend him whole-heartedly.
